Excellent video - As a young boy I remember seeing her on TV & thinking she was so pretty & never knew her name. Thanks to you I now know Yvette Vickers is the name behind such an attractive woman. Shame her marriages did not work out seems that she tried not to be alone. I'd suggest Ms. Vickers is an example of how women hit the wall real hard at age 30 & their SMV (sexual market value) plunges exponentially thereafter.
So very sad and cruel fate to happen to a once beautiful and vivacious young woman to end up being completely overlook and forgotten for weeks, months after her lonely demise.

Producers and directors distance themselves and so do colleagues of this competitive field. Even neighbors failed to show any compassion or just plain neighborly manners and didn't notice the overfilled and cobweb ridden letterbox. It's a horrible fate and it's a shame to dismiss it all by saying she opted for solitude by choice! It's exactly for such cases that a hot line exists to help people in desperate situations or on the verge of suicide.

This is a sad tale. I was a big fan of hers. She wasn't the greatest of actresses, but she added a sexy sultry quality that was perfect for the movies she was in. RIP Yvette.
