    and what are the paints you used for the planes ?

    • @ArdeconHobby
      @ArdeconHobby  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The paint really listed are H55/71-sea blue, H338-light gray, H42/72 ocean gray but because some of the paint is not available, I've tried to mix my own color match with the required one. So far work well. thanks, my friend.

    Thank you for the video. I just started making the Tamiya 1/700 waterline series of the USS Yorktown. It's cool to see the differences between the Tamiya and Trumpeter version of the same vessel.

      If I recall correctly, the Tamiya 1/700 Yorktown is CV-5, the first of the Yorktown class, along with CV-6 Enterprise and CV-8 Hornet. Yorktown CV-5 was lost at Midway, so they named this Essex class carrier CV-10 Yorktown, so a completely different ship. There was also CV-12 Hornet, another Essex class to replace CV-8, which was lost at the Battle of Santa Cruz.

      @@ArdeconHobby wow! It looks like you cut off the wings and repositioned in the folded position? One more question! What are you using to make the waves?

    • @ArdeconHobby
      @ArdeconHobby  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Plastic already molded in a wave design I just colored it to look real wave I added also tissue paper soaked with water to insert in some spaces in the side of the ship and raises it in front and rear to look like turbulent water and in final apply heavy clear gloss, hope you understand my grammar, ha ha ha, thanks, Drew.

      @@ArdeconHobby I must say that I have to agree with this; I was looking whether the video was running at the wrong speed or something, but it wasn't.
      The weird wobbly sound actually made me a little nauseous, but when I turned it off it was quite an enjoyable build to watch.
