It was the first Thursday night of January 1995 when I rode up to the old Argonaut Biker Bar. Because of the flood coming from the sky, and my only having a cheap one time use rain Pancho, I was soaking wet from head to foot when I walked in the door. The Bar Keep went in the back and brought up a big stack of bar towels. I sat there shivering while the Bar Maid tried to dry me off. The Bar Keep came back with a glass & bottle of whisky to try and warm me up. What happened next was the house band taking to the stage. I learned their fourth set -- which they called the "Emotional Rototiller Tour" -- was always nothing but slow, low down, rip your guts out. Sitting there with my whole life in a bucket, I'd just discovered real Blues. Don, I wish I had a time machine to take you there and show you how perfectly today's song would fit in. Real Blues! Not this rock crap they call Blues today. REAL BLUES POWER!!!
