If its Alfa I just watch :) Nice one although I am not into diesel cars and prefer TSpark engines. I own a 147 105cv (no variator) for daily which is very reliable although 340k kms on odometer and looking for a 156 2.5 for weekend rides (couldnt find one in decent shape and price). Also used 156 1,6 and 2,0 (loved), guiletta (didnt like much) and 159 (didnt like much) before . I would like to ask something. Do you have any plans to make a detailed video about Multiecuscan software? Every Alfa TSpark owner I talk try to find a good manual but no detailed source or video.
Hello. I'm to get my hands on a twin spark to do a timing video. A good and detailed one. On the MES I know you guys use that a lot, but those versions are old and need multiple connectors. I use the Autel on my work and it's many times superior. My old Autel is not bad but also outdated. I have a MES on my work just for really old models and doesn't work all the time
@@alfaromeonoproblem Yeah I know. But cant find any Autel for hobby use. The ones which are very expensive new ones for car services. I am just screening lean/rich, sensors etc on MES 4. Only problem I have on my car is small hiccup (half a second and hard to feel) at only 2600 2700 rpm sometimes not always . Checked MAF, injectors, coils, cables, s.plugs, o2 sensors everything is good and car performs very good all rpm range. Maybe running very very little rich. Oil consumption is low which is normal for Alfas after 2003. You have great content and passion on Alfas. Keep that coming mate!
Thank you. You may find a recent good Autel for about 400 here in Portugal. Mine is less expensive but is very outdated. On your case the first thing o see os the correct timing. Never saw a twin spark engine properly timed.
@@alfaromeonoproblem You are right it was out of timing before a litlle but last belt change its done in proper way with cam locks, tdc etc. Day and night difference. I think I ll find the little problem on ignition system or wiring although it seems good.
Hello Bruno, I'm doing my belt changes on the 2l twinspark, I can't seem to find a 19mm socket that fits over the crank nut to turn the engine. Do you know what type of socket is used? Also the exaust cam is slightly out of timing how do I correct?
Hello. You need a tool to fit on top of the crankshaft pulley or remove the balance shafts one to get to the 19mm. I assume you have the cam locks, the exhaust pulley as some adjustment tolerance, undo the 18mm and it will rotate about 3 thooths, that margin is enough to put the cam locks in place.
@@alfaromeonoproblem I think I've made a mistake and entering panic mode i need urgent advice before I continue, I don't mind paying. Can I call you? I use what's app.
I'm alone with my one year old. My wife leaved us.. no time to be on the phone. Can you see my Bialbero timing chain video? It's very similar to the TS
three weeks ago I did timing on my 156 1.9 jtd after 3,5 years ad 108 thousend km, my car hit 410000 km two days ago
Nice! Will do the timing on mine too this year
Nice detailed and informative video.
Thank you very much
Nice work.
Hello. Thank you!
Hello Bruno, with high price of fuel everyone's better off going back horse and buggies, have good day.
Hello. Sad but true... Let's see if this fuel crisis is really the end of all of this...
