The title is correct. This is the greatest roller coaster ever built. I was blown away by it and still can’t believe some small park in Belgium built it.

The spin on the first launch is made by a magnet that makes "contact" with the metal disc on the train. This is the block that is placed under/next to the catwalk that can be seen at 6:15 in the bottom right corner. Basically looks the same as the magnetic brakes on the old gen Intamin mega, hyper and giga

Got to give a huge applause to MACK Rides for doing this ride~ It is evident that they took a look at Time Traveller and saw what they were able to improve on, and also meet the demands for Plopsaland to ensure it did what they wanted it to do. And it's like they didn't just slightly improve it, they improved it BIG TIME LIKE x100. It's clear that this is probably the best spinning coaster ever made in the entire world. So again, kudos to MACK Rides, and this just shows you to amazing German craftsmanship.

I’m in the queue for this as I type! Second day here. What an incredible machine. It is unbelievable! However many videos you watch before, even standing watching it by the side - you simply cannot be fully prepared for this ride experience. It is so much more intense than it looks! The soundtrack playing in the seats adds so, so much. The ride wouldn’t be the same without it. For me, it’s a front row (car) ride - I love the insane airtime at the top just after the launch…and I do find it rides more rough at the back.
My opinion: this is not my favourite rollercoaster (I’m still too in love with Zadra), but The Ride To Happiness IS the best coaster in the world. I could never imagine being ‘relaxed’ on this ride. It’s just so different each time you ride! For me, there is some ‘comfort’ to be found in something like Zadra where you know what to expect. But no doubt, RTH is special. Truly special.

I know this park since my first visit in 1991 when it was called Meli- park. It had a fairytale forest, some small coasters and the biggest ride was the log flume, now Dino splash. When studio 100 took it over, they put some new rides in for families and kids, but it was still Meli park for me. Until the day they build 'Anubis' and it was well recieved. But that a family park that was own by the same company that started with a children show on sunday in the 90's about a talking dog called 'Samson' and later 'Plop' (PlopSa) and now has this in their park, I couldn't believe it. They now even have a pretty intense Scare nights during Halloween events. Now I can say: This is no Meli park anymore.

I will never understand why Mack builds better coasters in other parks than their own park. Maybe that‘s the downside of having a showcase park with prototypes.

I think in a decade we're going to look at this ride and view it as THE landmark rollercoaster of this generation. Rides like this don't come often - huge rmcs are great but steve/gwazi/zadra arent going to have the impact that i reckon this will.

Either that or it becomes the next Arrow 4th dimension coaster where it’s universally loved but never becomes a popular model.

To me, this is the best rollercoaster EVER - and I have done 69 laps on it.
Not 2 laps are the same.
    New experience every time.

It would have been better themed to Doom, with a heavy metal soundtrack. Other than that it’s great! I will say I’m not a big fan of the bunny hills in the end, too many coasters do that.

it has a twin in Branson, Time Traveler that uses it's terrain to make a very good experience. I'd love to one day ride the Ride to Happiness to compare it to Time Traveler.

They added a small bar with a gap on the first launch. On the left side close to the second launch on the track. When the magnet of ur car goes into the gap the car starts spinning.

  • @MarkThomasChannel

This ride is amazing, we have been twice in the last few months and am planning another trip now. No two rides are the same, the back is the best. Super comfortable. Smooth as silk. You leave the ride giggling like an idiot! I would say the last two bunny hops before the brake run can be a bit harsh and maybe should be taken a bit slower. 10/10 ride, merch is too expensive it’s prohibitive.

I’ve booked to go here for the first time with my non-enthusiast boyfriend next week and could not be more excited, especially since it’ll be our first trip together outside of the UK.
He’s not a fan of spinning though so it’ll be interesting to see what he thinks. There’s a clone of Sierra Sidewinder in the UK (Storm Chaser at Paultons Park; great park, super underrated ride) and he could only handle about 2/3 rides on that.

06:42 there is a magnet on the launch, and a magnet on the train, the train gets launched. hits the magnet and then rotates.

  • @yarnedebraeckeleer3138

The train's rotate at the launch because there is a magnet on the left at the launch and the train drive thru that.
