After owning dozens of Japanese & European motorbikes over the past 50 years, I find I don’t have to look anywhere else but Japan for my new purchases. Quality, price, availability, selection, dealer network, reliability etc. This goes for cars as well.
maybe one European bike produced more than 10 times the margin of one small Japanese bike like between 100cc to 150cc in Asia, but Japanese bikes are selling probably millions unit every year, and demand never faded, also in Asia we can have original spare parts for very affordable and accessible very easily, unlike European bike that the riders must be wealthy enough to afford it's prestige and those who can afford that might not be the customer that will have time to ride, they won't need to buy any bike ever again.
In regards to the Diavel and rocket the seats are way too small for us older riders which would be the target market because we would be the only generation that could afford the premium price tag.
European brands have insisted on sale us tech motorcycles that in fact we never need, obviously at a higher price, so thats the resilt. I hope they learn something, but...
People don’t know what they want. Most of these bikes are high priced toys, not something people commute on everyday. That’s why sales are down. There’s a global recession and high priced toys are taking a hit. Not because the bikes are fancy-schmancy for the average man. And don’t you have tiered motorcycle license levels which also limit buyers? Where as in the US I can get my license and the go buy a Hayabusa as a first bike.
Gs1300 a 22000 -35000 € . Bingo ! Ça cartonnait ! Honda récidive avec la Hornet 1000 …
They are offering more motorcycles than people need or can afford. This massive investor model is backfiring on them like a LeoVince slip-on and I love it.
Why don't you do videos on Indian bikes, India is emerging motorcycle market and also make better an more reliable bikes then Chinese companies or is it no go zone for you
Yeah, affordability isn't an issue for myself. However, the main downturn of the torquey Rocket 3, that I love, very much is a relatively small tank (18 L) and hence a very limited range (refulling every 180 Km). Dreaming of doing Canada coast to coast, and then St-Pete - Vladivostok return trip. But the range is the issue here. Utimately, I would want to order from Triumph, a Rocket engined "Road Adventure" bike with a 40 L tank or tanks.
These videos keep failing to compare with Chinese motorcycles like with CFMoto. There are cheap and quality alternatives to all these with CFMoto. Look bad at them now if you want, but sooner or later you will have to include them. They are where the Japanese bikes use to be. Affordable and price to quality exceeds anything the Japanese, European, American or Indian bikes are at.
Hey guys, sorry for the Mispronunciation of year 2025 at the start of the video!
Maybe just read it yourself.
We are poor.
😂 ikr

KTM's problems aren't what you listed. Their problems ALL rely on reliability issues they aren't willing to address.

Indian bikes have awful QC. Ask any KTM or Husqvarna owner made in Maharashtra 😂
Are ” advanced “ electronics exciting buyers ?

None of this accurate information. KTM made 100 2024 RC 8C and they all sold out. The 2023 version (200 built) sold out in less than 3 minutes.
I dont see the appeal of track bike to be used on track that goes in circles with no lights to enjoy in night time.

Imagery that changes so fast that one cannot process it, much less enjoy it, is very annoying. 🤔
