Stick with Japanese bikes ! And research throughly of something your interested in and no Chinese made bikes . I'm working for a company now and Chinese made and plagued with issues and inferior metals!
My wife had 310GS, pre-facelift, 20.000 km (now sold) - not even a tiniest issue. We also had two scramblers - though both 800 ccm - first one (now sold) 15.000 km, second one is half way there (still have it) - both perfectly stellar.
I can recommed Suzuki V-Storm 650 and 800, DR650S. Honda NC 750, CB500X, CRF 300 Rally. Kawasaki Versys 650. There is more good bikes but i dont have enough experience recommed them.
Enjoying my third GS 1200/50 in a hot climate country. Never had any issues with anything. Not TFT, not heat. Absolutely NOTHING. Is this review independent and objective?? I find it hard to believe.
Not sure about other bikes than the Aprilia RS660 - here you report issues with the very first 700 produced bikes. For sure not at all related to the model 2025 (RS 660 Factory) you are showing in the video!
Overall, if you buy bikes because they look good in a magazine, you're in for a disappointment .Seasoned riders that need to rely on their bike for commute etc stay away from the looks and look for the usual trusted machines like Honda. Revered motorcycle brands like Harley Davidson, and everything vintaged and hopelessly fragile Italians are for midlife crisis bookkeepers. Real riders steer clear of them.
Cry babies who are clueless about maintenance and wouldn't know which end of a screwdriver to hold like to whine about bikes they perceive to be unreliable. OTOH "real" riders ride whatever they want to ride.
I've owned many bikes and rode hundreds as a motorcycle mechanic Japan's Honda, yamaha , Kawasaki make good reliable bikes . I've ventured away to a 2023 KTM 690smcr 14k of junk the worst sound of noisy motor I ever heard and couldn't give it away had it a yr 1k on it got 7k for it and china's metal in tgere bikes are inferior and electrical smh
so basically, non-japanese bikes are not reliable. Old news.
There are no Japanese brands in the list. I'm not surprised.
Lots of Italian bikes on the list and no Japanese. I'm not surprised.

22000 miles on my 22 BMW Gsa and nonissues.
The Bullitt 500 is made with the masochist in mind. Part of it's charm.
Ironic that an Indian Motorcycle ad popped up during this video.
