Playing at a high velocity is really awesome & not everyone can do it with precision/control. So much respect if you can. There's definitely a time & place for it. Dynamics are key at the end of the day. I don't usually play this hard when I'm recording or in a session, unless it's a heavier track. I'm glad I can be an inspiration though! Thanks for watching.

I'm not hitting the drums/cymbals half as hard as they do in this video. I have a clear understanding that there's a time & place to let loose on your drums. This is a rock song, it's high energy. My playing is a reflection of that. I come from rock bands so it's only natural, but I'm always aiming to build my versatility & dynamics.
This guy is giving it all out, this is the kind of passion he has in drumming. Along with this music really gives him a strong vibe and throws it all out.....fucking amazing. He's. It trying to be a badass, he's expressing himself.

I've been drumming for 4 years now and the drum set that i have seriously holds me back from my full potential because i only have one cymbal but i am SO IMPRESSED! You inspire me so much!
