I wanna write this man a letter. Cobus took it upon himself, through the worst phase of youtube copyright banning, to without ad revenue, produce hundreds of high quality drum covers in the early 2010s. He inspired me when I was a youngin to pick up the sticks and here I am 15 years later, and the instrument is my pathway to happiness and peace. Due to the lack of drum creators back then, combined with the massive reach he was getting, I think there is a case for Cobus having inspired more drummers than any drummer ever before. He might be #1 "got the most people to pick up the sticks" which is a massive achievement.
12 years passed, got married half year ago, casually came back to show my wife what does it mean when I sing "PEANUT BUTTA' JELLY TIME!!" for no reason. She's part of us now guys, infected.
I started playing the drums back in 2008, but didn't have enough money to have a real kit. I largely played on different items I could find in the house that made different tones. I just played a single bass kit for the first time in almost a decade, and I'm absolutely hooked again. This came up in my feed, and it only solidified that I need to put aside some money for a good kit and pursue an old passion of mine. Thanks, Cobus!

What is the fill that you do, I can't seem to get it down. I have a hard time drumming a song without actually listening to the music at the same time. Is it really hard without the music? I don't count throughout the whole song. I sometimes just play with the music. Is this bad?
