@@Koragh_really? Hmm now i need to listen again. I dont recall as much fun splash parts (which was my favorite part), as intricate ride bell work, or side snare. Haha excluding I Will Not Bow because holy crap, was a lot of that beautifully present in that song!

Right! It's like when people would try to play My Name Is Mud by Primus using double kick the whole time and it blew me and my drummers mind the first time we realize the only double kick is at the end of the song and the rest is bass.
Chad Szeliga was THE drummer that got me interested in playing drums because of the album phobia and dear agony, his drumming was so technical and i learned all the songs, he’s the reason i know so much about the relationship between drums and guitars. i will always be great full of him❤
My favourite thing about his playing here is how he follows the chord progressions and melodies with his cymbals, choosing the right size and texture to complement each section of the song. Thanks DRUMEO & Chad for this!
Personally, he’s my favorite drummer of all time. He really found the sweet spot between melodic, musical drumming, but not overplaying and effortlessly blending into the song. He’s such a kind, open, sweet guy and a total monster on the kit. Thanks for bringing him on, Drumeo, looking forward to more videos with him.

Out of all the members leaving, Chads departure really bummed me out the most. He was one of my favourite drummers and his playing style is still audible in my own playing. Even their new drummer is using that same bell technique because it really was a staple in BB’s music
Shaun & Chad had been best friends back at that time & share similar techniques & sounds. In fact Chad did most of the recording for his cover videos. Both amazing drummers & friends!
Chads drumming was my favorite era of Breaking Benjamin, his twist on what Jeremy played on the other 2 albums gave it a little spice to already great parts.
Chad isn't kidding when he talks about feeling his drum parts. He is one of the most precise drummers I have ever listened to, and his drum parts are deceptively challenging because of all the little things he adds to every groove. I remember struggling to achieve combos on Rock Band 3 playing his parts because I would constantly miss one little note here or there. It wasn't until I finally got into the feel of the songs that I found success. Hope to see "I Will Not Bow" on Drumeo as well.
I love drummers who pay attention to the chords and sounds and bass lines and incorporate everything into their parts. Not just throwing down groups but making musical lines throughout the kit. 10/10 musician right there
I definitely owe Breaking Benjamin one! The Diary of Jane is an iconic song. I'll still never forget being 14 browsing the internet in the early 2000s and a girl I used to know on the other side of the world from a dinky little messageboard telling me to check out this track she loved called So Cold. That was nearly 20 years ago and the rest is history!
So cool to see Chad getting so much love. Back in high school, he would bring his kit to the band room and play. He could captivate us all even then. Our paths haven't crossed since those school days but it's still so great to see him succeed. He truly is a nice person too as many have stated
