Actually you can snap the Raynox Holder on to that round piece that you took off the velcro on the outside of the diffusor. Not sure you meant it like that too.
I have used coloured card board cards in the past and have given me very beautiful results. They are usually A4 size and very inexpensive. The only thing that is different in this case is the size, the fact that they are waterproof and the gradient between different colours which can definitely give interesting results.
Yes I love that they are easy to carry and waterproof. Definitely 2 important points.

Hi Emily, enjoyed the video…I have been following you since I watched your birding videos on B&H. I have been procrastinating with the purchase of the OM-1 system. I have developed some painful shoulder problems also have a weak back. If I could send for a new upper body I would…LOL…Going to do some physiotherapy for the shoulder and will soon be ordering the OM-1 system. I have been a faithful Nikon shooter but just can’t manage that 200-500 mm lens on my Nikon D500…wish me luck…I appreciate your truth about the camera system and hope to be an OM-1 system owner by the summer! Keep up the great work you are doing …❤

Great video Emilie 👌👌. I use a custom system diffuser for flash or often LED which does not restrict me on shutter speed. My Flash system allows me to either shoot from mount with mount on camera OR with Flash on ground spike / mini tripod. And my Rotolight LED - best mounted on ground spike or mini tripod overcomes the issue with shutter speed. Macro is extremely interesting camera concept. I now have both options with my 90mm macro or my 60mm lens which is amazing with focus extension rings and Raynox 250. Yet to try out the 90mm macro lens with x1.4 and x2.0 TCs. Keep in posting 🥰🥰😊😊
Oh I hope you can try the teleconverters. Borrow one from your camera store or a friend. It is crazy magnification!
I have both TCs which were given to me for free from OM Systems when I bought the 40-150mm f2.8 and the 300mm f4 lenses 😊😊. I had two overseas trips cancelled during Covid so spent the money on the lenses instead 👍👍. Just a question of getting out with my macro system backpack which should be this week as the continuous rain and overcast sky is forecast to clear up 😃😃

Thanks for the vid Emilie... I recently ordered a AK diffuser and was clueless as to how to put it together until watching your vid and was able to 'follow along'. Now to take it apart and put it back together again!

Yes great item to have :)
Try out using extension rings - around 25mm together with Raynox 250. Amazing results but you will have to make sure the lens / camera configuration is kept absolutely still with no movement 😊
Looks good but I wouldn't want to fiddle about putting it together out in the field especially if it were windy. Also it doesn't look robust enough to be taken apart and re-assembled too many times.
It is so easy. Super robust. Never had an issue.

I would love to know how you go about using the settings for a flash, like yours.
Thank you for this question. Most of the time, I use TTL and let my Olympus flash and OM SYSTEM camera do the rest. Most scenario it works very well.
Which brand battery pack do yo use for the led light? I could not find this round one, only flat ones and the are too heavy.

Hi Emilie. Thank you for this wonderful review. Does the larger version also work with your smaller 60mm lens? I am asking this because I own a Sony a6700 with the Laowa 65mm F2.8 2x Macro lens and I ask myself which one would be the best fit (standard or mini version).
I usually do the opposite use my smaller version for my bigger lens. I would contact the owner of AK and ask for his opinion. He is amazing and will definitely help you

Can you use the new AK fir 90mm Macror with the small flash that comes with new OM-1 cameras? If not, what flashes that are now available wold you recommend?

I use a flashpoint(same as a godux) zoom Rs ttl olympus compatible flash works great
I have the AK diffuser and have been looking for a small charging unit for the light. Can you tell me what you are using?
It's super compact but it doesn't fold completely flat, that's the biggest con of it. I heard it's better than Cygnustech by a tad, but the Cygnustech can fold completely flat.
Edit: I think the biggest flaw in your review, which was still very nice to watch, is that when you're showcasing photography equipment, especially this, you need many example pictures to say "look what I shot with this equipment!" and it would be better yet if you can compare the same picture WITHOUT the diffuser.
Thank you Nathan. I just released a video to talk about flash and did use samples. Also, AK diffuser just released an updated version fo their diffuser that now folds completely flat. I did an interview with Zamir the inventor of the diffuser on my channel a month ago.
Hi Emilie, is it neccessary to have an AK diffuser for Zuiko 60 mm and another for Zuiko 90 mm? Could I use just one model for both? Now I have the 60 mm macro lens but maybe in the future I'd get the 90 mm (a bit expensive, though)... Thanks for your video!!!.
I do use the diffuser made for the 60mm on my 90mm.

Well, you don't have to. It folds flat and is super easy to carry around.
I went on his website, and I am very sorry, but this diffuser is not worth $135 US. It can be as great as you say, but not for that price.
