Super impressed with that container. I was planning on living in a RV while my home gets built, much rather have 1, maybe even 2 of these. Not only cheaper, but just overall better floor plan in general! And when im done... guest houses... holy moly.
The ease of putting solar on the roof and more make this an *amazing* proposition for those who need a temporary solution of any sort! And at $10,000, this flat out beats any mobile home!
Bro! I love that you kept your mom in the shot.... i built my business at my parents' home when I was in my 30s. Brought back memories of the passion, sacrifices and my my also walking trhough my shots lol. Congratulations on the shop, keep working hard, and never give up.
reminds me of Accuracy International, basically 3 guys out of a shed made a rifle for the brittish military that was so good that the British military bought a few thousand of them.
Looks like at least 2" foam. (I'm guessing those panel walls are foam core) Get a few cans of spray foam and diy a blower door test to find and plug all the leaks and I bet it'll be fine. Maybe some window film if they leak too much heat.
Did the Western Star assembly plant fall through? If I had recalled correctly, this month or July if all went well, you guys would be getting that up and running.
You may want consider putting the office Building on screw piles will help stabilize the Office Building when it settles you can adjust the screw piles
Who would have guessed that Deison Motors, second office would be a container? Cracking purchase, Once opened, that looks superb for what you intend to use it for. It was pre destined that you would have to make you new office, but this is so much easier than having to actually build something, rather than just erect it. $10,000 well spent. Good luck with setting it up, but you've got the guys to do it. Best wises from UK. Love the dogs..
People putting their fingers in pinch points, standing with feet under the bucket of that ride on skidsteer with the operator screwing around with the controls... hahaa fuck yeah bud.
Since when did you start up the long form factor vids? I've seen many of your shorts, this being the first long. Hopefully you'll give an update in some time to see what if any problems with one of these pop-ups
That's actually kind of good move. Only thing i am thinking here is that you live in BC and some parts of the house doesn't seem to have much insulation. After all winter is only few months away.
I finally got around to watching this video. Thats a super neat little unit. I have doubts about how it will handle the cold winters. Could you do a winter update on it?
for the money, that's a fantastic little unit. a back yard crafting office or studio, potting shed, maybe with more windows even a sort of greenhouse/sun-room. super cool!
One of those VEVOR diesel heaters should be good enough to keep it toasty in the winter time. I would add a small enclosed porch to help keep out winter cold, though.
I do Love the ( A frame hosting)😊 Thats how so many Houses were moved In areas by my house that homes were SAVED and truck moved to new foundation. 😊 This is suck an imperment To using the home as a office 😊❤😊
Here in Ontario, you can rent Container Jack's for remote loading and offloading up to 4ft high, I think, and they will drop it down to inches off the ground. They are heavy and take some effort to raise if the container is loaded but empty its a breeze. FYI for next time. Cheers 🇨🇦
Just a second...that trailer has a foldable ramp and the container has wheels at the back. Why not use that and set it down like a RoRo from the beginning?
Really you guys that gin poll truck could have picked up that sea can no problem are you going to slide does i-beams underneath the sea can and used cribbing on the ends of it and jacked it up and then cribbed it down and you guys built a electric truck?????
Little disappointed in the unload. How long did you work for Reliable? Then think of the universal poor man's crane. For shame Chase. Is nice looking shack.
I would have paid a $20 admission charge to watch this live in person! You could have made a fortune selling popcorn! This is logger (or any real old skool trucker) "get this shit done, figure it out, look around, use what you got, fake it!" ... lol
I like the new office. I like you can move it. OR add another one if needed. Do you know the Square feet? Sorry, how do you measure a home in Canada? Square meters? It's got a washroom with shower. So there must be water and sewer hookup in the back. Also a water heater included. I'd be interested in seeing these. My only question is heating and cooling. How is that done? Do you need portable units for that? Do you know where you'll put them? OR is there a furnace included?
What is the width of that container office? It doesn't look like standard shipping dimensions compared to the trailer it's sitting on. I worked for a company that built expandable shelters a lot like this, and the jacks they come with are super nice, they notch into the ISO corners and you just crank away. Ok i just saw you open it, i don't like it, but there may be copyright and so they have to expand that way. The shelters i worked on the floor was supported by the wing walls, not the other way around, and wing floor supports were not needed.
Nice. Unit. !!! A little surprised that they didn’t put it on wheels, or set it up on a trailer, so as to move it later on with out having to load it up on something, With their knowledge and spare parts hanging around ..they could have it self powered and drive on its own around the property…. Maybe the next one they get , they can make it happen. There might a market for site offices ,being able to be delivered and unload them selves under their own power. ! Just add hydraulic Jacks and stabilizers , electric motorized. Steerable all terrain wheels . The roof should have a solar power system, battery bank ,and a generator for charging the batteries in case of emergencies….
Sir, with all due respect, and in the most manly way, I think I’m going to have a crush on you. You are so awesome brother keep it up and I pray that God blesses everything that you touch and everything that you think of and all your ideas come true do you have truly been an inspiration to me love watching your videos. Ever since I have found your channel a little bit obsessed. It’s way more better than watching any garbage that is on regular TV keep it up brother we’re all behind you
I think that little track machine could have unloaded the office on its own. I'd buy that building for 10k! I feel like the insolation may not be the best in those thin walls.
if you have to do that in the future hire a flat deck tow truck. basically you would have backed up deck to deck. the tow truck would have winched the container onto his deck about 60% then the tow truck would have set the container in position then driven out from under the container on a steep deck angle resulting in the container being placed on the ground like a pizza sliding into an oven.
The unloading process was slightly reminiscent of an episode of Red Green 😁😁
Right country 😂
Truly Canadian 😂
Man this entire video was pure Canadian gitter dun!
What an honour that is, this may have been one of the best comments I’ve ever had
Definitely could use some duct tape 💪😂
This company is too practical to fail, great work
Couldn't agree more.
That's pretty neat! Add a mini-split AC/heating unit, and you're all set!
"And then we'll figure out a plan once we get there" The words of someone who problem solves on a daily basis with enough experience that they know they're going in the right direction!
A couple of e-axles and a steering wheel and you have a mobile Edison Office space.
and the steering wheel on the toilet XDXD
@@raphiseth6942 Total gold!
Steer it with your phone, remote control! Would totally work.
Nice shirt!

What do you think it’s going to be like in the winter? I’m guessing the R-value isn’t that great.
Not great but a heck of a lot better than a tent lol. And if you have 6 people and their computers it's the equivalent of like 4-5 space heaters.
Pretty sure they’re made from fridgy foam panels. So should be pretty stable temp wise
If you have to wire it for lights and stuff can you also put that in a video? What a perfect little cabin that would make!
I'm curious of the light trailer will be more then enough to power the office
Yeah, that’s what we’re going to power it off of
I like that the dog is just magically next to Chase whatever room he's in.
reminds me of Accuracy International, basically 3 guys out of a shed made a rifle for the brittish military that was so good that the British military bought a few thousand of them.
I love the remember if you buy something and put it in a video its a write off 😂 so true
New intro is baller
Great Video, But you should have called Mario’s towing and used their rotator😊
What brand/company is that container house from?
Ritchie Brothers
What a great buy. Look better then a Atco trailer. Now you mom can have her house back. Maybe you will find a prefab shop .
I wonder how it will hold up to the snow.
Container buildings are pretty cool. Hooowever, if you're in the southern half of the US, think twice about using one of those in direct sunlight.
He's in Canada, his problem will be in winter. Hope it's well insulated.
@@om617yota7 Oh, I'm aware. I figure the overnight thermal exchange will be the biggest issue. But, I also think they can manage that.
Best Tax write off I've seen so far was an Mp5 clone. But this pre fab cargo office is a close second.
I too watched that fat electrician video
I see you're a fellow fan of the Chubby Electron Guy as well. 😁
Ah finally another man of culture.
Great looking building but who actually made it and what is the brand name?
Some Chinese company. You can find them on Ritchie brothers
That’s cool where are the electrical and plumbing hook ups?
What the insulation value of the unit?
You beat me to it.
Doesn't look like there's much (any) in the way of insulation; I'd hate to see it turn into a problem rather than a solution.
No idea, I got it from an auction for cheap. It didn’t come with a brochure. But we’ll get a wood stove in it and she’ll be warm

As smart as you guys are, I''m afraid the big corporations are stealing your tech.
Good luck
😎
Wonder how it’ll perform in winter
These sidebar videos are ok, but I’d like to see topsy working as advertised does it do the job we hope it will?…
how's the shop buy in Terrace going?
What happened to the old factory space? Too busy with renovations?
When the doom music kicks in... Chase is pulling a house off a trailer with two puny trees! Perfect :)
There we go, we built a house! More Doom Music
Seems like it would make a great office, not sure about one as an actual house though. maybe 3 joined together and delete one of the bathrooms.
I've wondered how one of those buildings handles snow, do you get much there?
Need is the mother of invention! What a resourceful team!
Necessity is the...
You get a like just for the happy dog face at the start, never mind all the cool stuff you're doing :D
Nice, Now just move the solar trailers closer and put up a storage next to it and not have to worry about power.
HOA says "No. Big fine for you." Man I hate HOA's.
That is a great little office that got big real quick and that roof looks ready for solar panels, too.

Looking good! Good thing your in BC. I wouldn't want to spend a winter in that in Winnipeg!
What happened to the new office/manufacturing space that you were getting? Did I miss something?
Didn't you guys buy property in Smithers pr was that just prospective?
Ive heard they do poor in the winter, I am looking forward to your findings tho. Keep us updated!
Does it have connections for power and water? What about heat and AC?
Is it insulated?
You gonna put solar on the roof where the batteries and controllers are on the trailers you build
Might be time to invest in a good used forklift
what is the insulation like in that thing? is the roof gonna hold up to a heavy snow load?
How do they recommend to seal it to keep bugs and rodents out?
Chase, how weather tight is that? Are the panels insulated?
How you planning on plumbing that bathroom?
Let's see how she handles the snow load come winter...
