Gotta love that feeling you get on your way back and you're like, wait a minute, we didn't come this way. Glow sticks or bright ribbons on rocks at critical junctions. When I used to cut trails through thick rainforests to remote lava flows they saved me from unnecessary stress on my return hike.
The formations are a lot more solid than I had imagined. I thought touching them would probably break them, but, apparently not. They seem pretty solid.
This cave made me feel uneasy. I can't explain it. Just a feeling. Cold water in a cold cave gives me the chills. This was the first time I've seen you get somewhat lost. Thank you for letting us tag along.
So cool, guys! I loved the bat in the flowstone mineral (that was a permanent mineral bath). and right after that (at 18:10 to 18:18), that toothy-mouth stalactite /stalagmite formation was awesome. Musical noodles at 19:30 was super amazing too! Wowzas!!

Super wild, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true. The Appalachian Mountains are petrified tree remnants, not sure if roots and stumps or what, but you can see it all over on the sides of the road, in valleys, pretty much all the “bedrock” is petrified giant trees. Hangman’s videos showing this stuff in depth opened my eyes and I keep finding more and more in real life.

Salutations, That drop was gnarly, on the way down and when you looked back up, it looked as if you had descended down the center of a giant petrified tree! And deeper down such wicked textures all around! What an excellent exploration! Cheers!
Nope. Spelunking and getting lost while doing so is the stuff of my nightmares. I've been to the classic tourist caves and fell in love with the formations but I could never be this adventurous. Thanks for showing those beautiful helcitite horns. I wish I could see that bat skeleton irl. It's neat to see your enthusiasm. Cool expedition even though I was filled with trepidation the whole time! ❤
That was great! Loved it! Now lingering means to allow the camera time to focus on interesting areas. You did bring attention at the end by allowing viewers to enjoy a few moments on the weird musical straws. I will never get to enjoy any of squeezing through chambers. At 70 it's pretty difficult so I'm living off your adventures. So linger.
I've learned to not be so nervous anymore on your videos I used to just have a ball of anxiety in my stomach thinking you're going to have your head smashed like an ant. So this channel has helped me get over my fear of those tight spaces
Yinz guys are a little crazy. I love it. If you make it to SW Pennsylvania I'd love to see you explore Bartons as well as a couple that aren't on the maps anymore that Ive found while out exploring. If you take me into Barton's with you Ill take you white water rafting. Sounds like a good trade. I have my own harness and basic gear and a few ropes. At the furthest point Ive explored there is graffiti from the late 1700's in that cave. Its really cool.

As someone whos been in flooded caves a lot. Recommended to always bring a wetsuit or drysuit especially when its cold so you dont get hyperthermia. See you guys getting lost for a min made me upset. bring stuff to mark where you came from when entering a new tunnel or passage. Or bring a line and attach it to something. Then when entering a new way use a different line a attach to where your entering so u dont get lost. Stay safe rather than sorry. Also make sure the weather clear on that day you dont wanna get trap when it floods or drown.

When they signed that cave back in the 1800s, I Wonder if they thought anybody would ever see it? Now hundreds of thousands of people are going to see it. That is so rad. I wonder what they would think if they knew!
I'm 65 years old and have been exploring abandoned mines and some caves for approximately 50 plus of those years. It's great to see your explorations, and that men of your age still have the yearning to explore. It's also refreshing to see that your parents did a great job of raising you. I have not seen one of your videos yet where you use profanity, or spray graffiti on your explorations. Thank you for sharing your great videos, and being the great young men that you are. I could swear I saw a date that was 17 something. It looked like 1779 or similar but definitely began with 17. I suppose that shouldn't be all too surprising, considering where you are. Really cool to see all those signatures and initials from long ago.
I'm glad you share all the cave adventures you go to it's been 40: years since I climbed a rope so I'm really out of shape and can't find the time to get back in plus my shoulders hurt when I hang from them keep at it and hopefully you won't run into the same problem for years to come 👍 nice day for a swim but that water got to be cold 🥶
Wow what an adventure! Love it! Was worried a bit when you got lost. I’d take a role of survey tape and pull off a piece when you take a turn. To make it easy to get back. Or some plastic forks.
They always find the best stuff, but its because they know what they are doing. It's interesting that a lot of these limestone caves are so vertical before they are horizontal that repeling is a must. Thus is all part of the limestone formation that goes from Colorado to the East coast. Providing tunnel entrances in Missouri and Arkansas where the shelf is really exposed.
Damn guys.. you have some huge balls to do that. At about the 19 minute mark, I was questioning if this was the footage they brought out with your bodies- really! Then I reasoned that no, there is nobody that would go that far into the unknown, even for body recovery. Serious respect! 👍🏻
I was too scare of caves and don’t know what’s inside of it and how dangerous is it and not just rocks and water but also another creatures could find in it . I'm glad you share all the cave adventures you go to it's been 40: years since I climbed a rope so I'm really out of shape and can't find the time to get back in plus my shoulders hurt when I hang from them keep at it and hopefully you won't run into the same problem for years to come 👍 nice day for a swim but that water got to be cold 🥶
Wow what an adventure! Love it! Was worried a bit when you got lost. I’d take a role of survey tape and pull off a piece when you take a turn. To make it easy to get back. Or some plastic forks.

They always find the best stuff, but its because they know what they are doing.
It's interesting that a lot of these limestone caves are so vertical before they are horizontal that repeling is a must.
Thus is all part of the limestone formation that goes from Colorado to the East coast. Providing tunnel entrances in Missouri and Arkansas where the shelf is really exposed.
How on earth did you figure out how to get back? Frightening, but can't wait for you to go back! Wow doesn't even cover this one!
Damn guys.. you have some huge balls to do that. At about the 19 minute mark, I was questioning if this was the footage they brought out with your bodies- really! Then I reasoned that no, there is nobody that would go that far into the unknown, even for body recovery. Serious respect! 👍🏻
You my friend have not watched enough TH-cam if you question how far someone will go for a body recovery!

This one reminded me of the movie The Cave!! From the early 00s.
I was too scare of caves and don’t know what’s inside of it and how dangerous is it and not just rocks and water but also another creatures could find in it . Guys I am so proud of you , I watched all your videos and waiting for another videos ❤ because of you will not face any fear of caves haha . keep going😊❤
