I feel like Laurie needs an actual Big Book of Grudges that he can pull out, especially now he's the host. Would be much more effective than the Air Book of Grudges.
Maybe our eyes can only see it on special occasions...like Halloween?
If anyone is wondering, the Big Book of Grudges was a magical artifact for the Dwarves in the older Warhammer Fantasy. They'd get a combat bonus when their leaders read aloud from it during battle, as the reminder of their ancient feuds made them fight harder.

They had two outs before rolling, sully could have made it move 2 squares away it then can only move one not able to attack, also Holly could have just moved to tank in place of Dom
They can’t use perks during the monster phase so they had no way to know it would be a move 1 and holly was trying to complete the objective before running out of turns which required being near the barn
Was Holly's cutaway near the end meant to be playing the music or is it just me

I know one of the points of this show is to showcase new games, but I love seeing you come back to hits like this. Especially games with more options and difficulties
They could have extended the game at least 2-3 more attacks if Holly had instead of moving just up one with her last action used her special action to join Dom with her 5 items (now some were goats so they'd rather not lose them but there would have been enough to soak that hit with a couple of spare expendable items for future rounds).
that or possibly use Sullivan's perk card to move the monster away

Well, according to folklore, the Mothman (aka Melvin) brings bad omens. After the ribbing he took, looks like Mothman (aka Melvin) got the last laugh. The banter between Holly and Dom though is great fun!
Having previously lived in Point Pleasant, West Virginia the birthplace of the Mothman legends. I am quite offended with their moth based slander.

Okay...Now I want Sully, Dom, Holly, Tilly, and Laurie to give us a through review of the 40K lore. You could call it something like No Hope Left.
My group has played this nearly a dozen times. It's a lot of fun and has tons of replay value.
As a west virginian were mothman is from, Mothman is responsible for atleast 1 bridge collapse, The Silver Bridge, and multiple sightings in point pleasant that resulted in car crashes. The Mothmans body count stands at 46 confirmed deaths

@Pandapeep my experience has been mothman people are very strong believers. Maybe that goes for all cryptid people, and I only personally know the mothman variety, but hoooooooo boy. They really think a magic moth is tearing down bridges and murdering whole towns.

I would prefer to see a game of it instead of just a short ad interruption.
Is this possible, or would this end in way to much work compared to what the advertisers asked for?
@@aidenpearce6624 Filming an entire episode is possibly on the table, but would cost a lot more from the company than a simple ad read.
As a viewer I'm not opposed as long as they're upfront about a game being sent to them and paid to play it, and honest in their opinions
@@aidenpearce6624 My view is that there are channels out there that already cover Warhammer and do so very well, I don't think that covering it would work that well for NRB given it's a pretty complex game with a lot of parts, and unique rules for those parts, and on top of that additional resource requirements such as scenery and game boards. Both of which are a considerable investment.
NRB does very well at covering different board games, they have a studio set up for this and are one of the better producers in this area so while the difficulties I've listed wouldn't be insurmountable I also don't think that they would be worth tackling for a one-off video.
there are WAY better TTMiniatures wargames out there! 40k was my entry to the hobby, but GW is a dumpster and I wont look back. (admittedly, their writers are fantastic!)

I'm unsure if I missed something, but I'm pretty sure the last perk card Sully picked up could have moved Chupie away 2 spaces and he would have only moved 1 space for his turn. I think the last turn was a mis-play, unless I've misunderstood a rule somewhere
I watch this show purely for the enjoyment. I have no problem with the ads as they provide the means to keep quality channels like this one going strong. Bravo!

If sullivan had used his card, chupacabra wouldn't have been able to attack anyone if he moved him right then down before Holly revealed the monster card

I bought Horrified American Monsters after watching NRB play the original Horrified. It's a great game and my friends absolutely love it. Really easy to pick up and play. It's fun and challenging solo ,but def better with at least 3 ppl
i think 53:27 is my favorite part of the video. Holly's hubris, Dom's distress, the cursed roll and then straight back to Mothman bashing

Didn't Sullivan have a card to move the monster two spaces so he could have moved it away, then it gets it's one movement and so no attacks? Unless I missed something.

I’m not sure what was going on but a couple of the “talk to the camera solo” bits near the end for me just got overridden by really loud music so you couldn’t hear anything Holly or Dom were saying, and I’m honestly unclear if there was just a funk with the video or if it was my computer going haywire 😩 apart from that though, great episode! such a great bunch playing together ❤

Ravensburger has probably the best customer service I've ever experienced. I emailed them because I a piece was missing from a villainous expansion I had just bought and as an apology they immediately sent it plus since goodies and this game for free a week before it came out

Unfortunate that they didn't think to give Dom any of those items Holly picked up at the end, or realize Sully could've moved the monster 2 spaces away in a card that makes it travel 1 space. Oh, well, still a very fun video.

I think there was a mistake in 1:01:57 when Holly used her Advantage Card. You can use them anytime, during the Hero Phase, but you can't once you're in the monster phase.

Laurie did a feature on GW back when the channel was in its infancy. And Laurie is in charge now, so (fingers crossed) I expect we're likely to be seeing a lot more Warhammer on here. Personally I'm rooting for a Wrath & Glory game on the new TTRPG channel with Commissar Dom and Inquisitor Tilly hunting down some heretics.
