If I had a nickel every time Sullivan woke up as an evil player in a social deduction game and the other evil player forgot to do the same, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

I mean, Sully is just one of those guys who's magically friends with most people. I've had people in my life like him: Easy friends with almost everyone, with a readily likeable manner and flexible demeanor that seems to suit almost every situation, but not particularly serious or deeply friends either - even if everyone else wants to consider themselves best friends with him.

Tilly, Dom and Sully just make this feel like No Rolls Barred. I do think they are just magic when they are on together. Just need to add Rosie for a bit of chaos.
I wasn't expecting an ad read, but I still was totally there for Sully doing a 1001 Disney references.
That's more referrerances than the amount of dalmatians that have been in Disney movies.
1. The new table is fantastic and perfect for the channel.
2. All future adds should be in that format, because it was actually entertaining, and Sullivan is hilarious.

FYI: Burke was the name of Paul Riser's character in Aliens. He was the corporate stooge who wanted to infect Ripley and Newt so he could smuggle an alien back to Earth.
(Also, I believe hearing that they filmed Aliens in the UK, so if Burke has a British slang term then it's very possible that's why they named him that.)
Burke sounds like "berk" which is short for "Berkshire hunt" which is rhyming slang for a word I'm not going to use here. Or so I've been told.

I'm not sure if you've sat around other board gamers but I assure you this is how some tables are. One person says something funny, someone else keeps saying it louder. It's a part of life.

Surely, "Burke's Gambit" is a reference to Aliens? In Aliens, Carter Burke is the one working for "The Company" trying to get a parasitic alien sample back to Earth.

Especially playing along by not knowing who were the corpos cuz I closed my eyes during the initial reveals
The final result of the second game made me jump out of my seat.
It felt like a movie ending where the evil corpos did everything including suicide to spread the infection but by sheer luck the good guys saved the world from being infected
This is brilliant! Feels like a return to form 👏

I love the connection to 'Aliens' as Paul Riser's character was a Weiland-Yutani stooge named Burke that wanted to get the Xenomorph back to earth for the company to study and monetize as a bioweapon.
Anybody else love seeing behind the scenes during the ad read? Because I did!!
Actually, Burke is the corporate guy in ALIENS, that wants to bring the xenomorph back for the corporation to experiment on it and tries to infect Ripley.

I forgot to say it on the actual videos, so I’ll say it here. Honey Heist was possibly the best rpg I’ve seen on TH-cam, there wasn’t a minute that passed without me giggling into my hand, desperately trying not to wake the dead. Watch it if you haven’t, rewatch it if you have. I know I will.

@@TheLastSane1not really "sold out", scalpers got to them on release and so everything is "for sale" online for 2-3 times the price of msrp. As a card game player, it has been near impossible to find product thanks to scalpers along with low supplies in general.
Definitely a lot of salt in the community directed at scalpers and LGS who are selling at triple MSRP etc.
It's a struggle. Thankfully more print runs have already been ordered. Just gonna take time.
Social deduction games are so fun with this group. Just drama and tension and breakdowns all around.

Fun session! Just a heads-up to anyone watching...you aren't forced to resolve the second die throw. The game designer Rob Yates himself clarified this at the BGG forum back in 2017.
So these guys play that part wrong, only the engine power-up roll HAS to be played, otherwise you can always return the die to the bag without effect if you wish...
