Between Margaret Thatcher and Stalin, Dom has found a strangely effective niche of bits where he embodies history's villains and somehow makes them hilarious.
Dom as Thatcher is hilarious, but as a Northerner I am obligated to hope the monsters win against Thatcher.

Between this entire episode and the Stalin clapping, Dom has risen to become my new fav NRB cast member. Dark humour at its finest.
The entire Communopoly intro once Dom comes into view is incredible. *points at Adam* You're dead.
Dom's been playing into the haughty villain schtick for a while, and Communopoly feels like he really hit his stride (though lest we forget, Ghost Lawyer was also an AMAZING bit that he jumped on and ran with mid-BOTC, chef's kiss). His sense of comedy plays counterpoint SO WELL against the rest of the cast, I'm glad he's getting some great spotlight moments lately. :3
Dom will justifiably dominate the comments for his Thatcher, but the Teri track gave me immense joy.

I want Dom to keep on acting like famous political historical figures in Board Game Club. I suggest he find a way to be Napoleon next. (And maybe get Adam to play Diplomacy at the same time!)
For some reason I see him doing a mean Marylin Monroe as well.
I believe he did a Napoleon-esque performance when they played Risk
I think I like to see him as any of the leaders in a Axis and allies game, I think he would ace all of them.
And having British comedians doing Napoleon have been a bit overdone, it gets a lot of being short jokes due to the fact that a French feet was longer then a British so the Brits thought he was super short when he was pretty average.
I mean, Dom would be more amusing as mad King George if you want that era (although I think Sully probably would be a better fit for that particular role).

This is my favorite board game, and my first time watching your channel. I have to say it's about my favorite playthrough - I love that you're not only immersed in the theme while keeping to the rules/mechanics, but that you took it and made it your own. Looking forward to watching more. I'd love to see you play against the other monsters for Halloween. I think Dom was made to play Teddy Roosevelt, just putting that out there.

I’ve been really unwell the last few days so have had to restart this video multiple times as I kept falling asleep whilst watching, but it was absolutely worth it. Probably my favourite group of players together - and Dom’s chaos paired with Laurie desperately trying to just play the damn game - really made it 😂
It's an incredibly fun game to play! My wife and I played tonight for the first time. I can't wait to table it with my gaming group. Thank you for the good time watching and all the humor.
HORRIFIED!!!! OMFG YES. This is the game I probably pull out for me and my family the most. We always have much more fun doing cooperative gameplay, and this definitely feels like pandemic, family edition. Great choice, guys!

Prospero Hall just shines at capturing the feel of an IP. So many little thematic touches in the mechanics. NRB is the perfect crew for showing how fun these games are. I'd love to see them do an episode with Jaws.

For the American viewers, Margaret Thatcher was such a terrible Prime minster that when she died The No.1 song in the UK was DingDong the witch is dead from the wizard of Oz
also for americans: just imagine reagan with an english accent and a handbag, and you now understand the political ideology at play.
The only difference is that for some stupid reason, Reagan is almost worshiped over here. Which is sad.
