Hi... I'm one of those people who joined the discord server but I really have no idea how to meet people and be invited to games.... could you help me out in anyway in how to join meet people on the discord server and join in a few games?. Would very much appreciate it
Hi there! I agree the discord can be a confusing place. My suggestion would be to look in the first section for “roles and commands”scroll up a bit and react where suggested with “LFGlive”, which should be a microphone, under the heading “Role menu: LFG”. Once you’ve done that, you will be regularly pinged from the “game-recruiting” section and you should look out for games in “base-three-edition live games”. Basically if you show up in the voice chat and put a “!” In front of your name people won’t mind you being there even if a game is in progress as that’s the sign that you are spectating so you can wait to join a game there, or show up immediately after a ping in game recruiting. Alternatively join the London server which is way more easily formatted. You can search for me on the Unnofficial discord (Simon (the Demon, clearly)) and I will gladly give you or anyone else a link there as well.
I would note though that the London Server only really plays games in UK-friendly times (hence it’s name). The main Unofficial though unwieldy hosts games all over the place. Looks like no luck tonight, but other nights there’s often a game on about now.
Personally I wish she asked Is Oli the evil twin? She would have heard a yes, but it’s more likely that Ben would give her a standard poisoned response. If they then worked out that Jon was the No Dashii then they could’ve reversed her response and beaten the twin puzzle
@@EmmaBonn96 just because Brooke was poisoned, it doesn't mean she had to get incorrect information. Only the Vortox demon forces incorrect information. The chances are, in this case Brooke probably would have got a yes on Oli being the evil twin, when he wasn't, but it would also require Brooke realising she was poisoned, which she might not have done, and then convincing Isaac to choose him when Isaac died as the Klutz. One of the recurring themes on the Pandemonium Institute Twitch streams is: "don't meta the story teller". Because, as Ben has said before, it is his job to wield his power to be a dick and mess with the players. I would put nothing past "Daddy Ben" when it comes to misleading the good team.
I feel like Isaac decided that since he usually takes the game very seriously and that this time he would do the opposite of that and just revel in the chaos he could create. Made for one of the most entertaining games to date. Add that with Oli being far too aggressive in the beginning and Luke being the ultimate babyface this game was PERFECT!
It’s funny cuz I think it’s the open belief of their game was that it’s suspicious to be overboard about you being the good twin. Like funny enough, the role of twins actually makes the whole game a 50 50 shot at moving forward because at some point you have to deal with this. And because Oli is the Oracle, Ben and Tom made it so that Luke will have the same information. I think perception of conducting themselves makes it a difficult game to call. Cuz think if this was real life, the quiet one that is logical and smart won’t be verbose in making that argument (inherently a good quality). While the loud one proclaiming that the other is evil is an overtly mean thing to do. Funny how the roles reverse
Babyface for the win. And also, I love pointing out that Carley not being truthful really messed them up. They think she's getting poisoned [because she's not being truthful, not because she has "bad info"] and so think that Isaac/Oli are evil mainly for that reason.
Don't know who edits this videos, but the work is IMMACULATE. The devil is in the details and the demon is in the hiding. Great BOTC, as always. Get on Boo(a)rd! EDIT: it said "Don't who edits" and it's "Don't know who edits". Also, poor sad Oli :(
I love how often someone will basically work it all out and tell Adam, then because Adam thinks he's better at this game than he actually is (when on the good team - he's an evil genius when he's on the evil team), he manages to lead everyone including himself on a wild goose chase.
Carley and Adam both being good and both lying to each other is the perfect representation of their relationship 🤣 (yes I know it makes the most sense to lie as the snake charmer and bluff that you're the sage if you're important but still, it's so funny)
I have never seen a group of TH-camrs I want to be friends with more than you nerds! Thanks for getting me into the hobby...now to convince my friends to play BotCT
Man, Oli has the worst time in this game and quizzelmania. Luke didn’t have to say anything and people just automatically assumed Oli was evil. Feels bad man.
Problem is that the Twins are almost 100% a game of you trying to convince everyone you’re good. There’s very little deduction from either twin, so it relies entirely on the other players to find any info. In this game both twins have the exact same info, and no one had info ON them. So instead it was a game of “Who FEELS more innocent”. And unfortunately Luke is one of the most likeable people I’ve ever seen. And when it comes to twins, that’ll win it for you. Luke is ultimately a more believable “Good Guy” than Oli.
I do have to say I dislike the Evil Twin character, just because it completely takes away another person's game. Oli could do basically nothing as Oracle, because his entire game 1) he was outed to the evil team, and 2) he had to spend the entire game trying to prove his innocence (and even then failed.)
Oh man, Isaac screwed the good team TWICE. He would’ve been one of the five votes needed on Jon (on day three or thereabouts?) but put his hand down at the last second. Well/badly played, honorary semi-evil klutz.
The whole idea of Luke and Oli both revealing their Oracle information was ridiculous... The good twin will obviously know (unless he's poisoned) because he's the Oracle, but also, the Evil Twin can VERY EASILY just look at the board, see who's dead, and know what the Oracle number would be. Luke KNOWS who's evil or not, and Adam's the only one dead... Luke knows it would be 0. LMAO
And the only way that it would differ would be if he was poisoned, which even then it’s a 50/50 shot at guessing if Oli got a 1 or 0, and considering that the storytellers would have to be mad to give out a 1, it’s more like and 80/20
It's not really about whether the Evil Twin will "get it right"; good doesn't *know* what's right, so whether the Evil Twin gets it "right" or "wrong" doesn't matter. What this check *is* good for is having both players hard-claim their information, because if their earlier responses come in to contention later in the game good can use that to piece together who has been telling porkies the whole game. Most of the time the Twins will give the same info because it stops this event from occurring, but doing so also stops the Evil Twin from seeding false information. The only time this isn't the case is if the good Twin is droisoned, of course. An Evil Twin who knows the good Twin is sat next to a No Dashii, for example, can indeed intentionally tell the truth to make the posioned good Twin look like an Evil Twin trying to seed lies.
A good giveaway from the twins is the fact that they BOTH said they think Isaac is the demon. If the good twin is correct, and the evil twin is lying, they’d accuse different people. But if the good twin is incorrect, and the evil twin is lying, it’d be the same person. So if they point to the same person, odds are it’s not that person. It’s the classic door riddle! You ask the guards which door the other would point to, and that door ISN’T the safe one.
Great episode. Issac is a mad man. Sully with the best record. love the evil twin dynamic with Luke and Oli. Hoping we see Adam eventually pull off his bit.
I've missed Oli! It's always fun to see him play. I loved the dynamic with the evil twin. This was insane. All of you are becoming better and better in this game!
I feel like poor Laurie often is getting the right reads but no one listens to him. On the other hand, he seems to take some satisfaction in being right but having no one listen to him? Maybe it's for the best haha
I’m only 19 mins in, but I was thinking so far: “well this one is going to be interesting, Sully is evil again that’s fun. I wonder if there will be a wrenc….OMG Carley with the Snake Charmer ability! Jon is doomed!!!” We’ll see how this goes lol.
Never miss an episode. This is the best series I watch on any service. Please never stop. Ben and Tom are great storytellers and the players are all so great. I like the new additions and switching out who plays each time. It really keeps things interesting.
Fantastic game, as usual! Couldn't ask for better entertainment! Tom doesn't get enough credit during the setup phase, not just for being entertaining with setting the mood, but asking all the right follow-up questions to Ben's character explanations. Great to see Oli back... and the poor guy is selected as Luke's good twin! x) Couldn't have asked for a more perfect pick than that pairing. Carley and Isaac were playing incredibly entertaining games, in completely different ways! I hope at some point NRB will start doing customs so one of them can be the Politician... Congratulations and well played to the Evil team! Didn't think they would pull it off with Carley putting it all together, but good fell on leaving the twin dilemma alone for too long! And Sully is the BotC champion, wow! Now the real question is whether the "domestic dispute [that] threatens to tear the entire village apart" refers to the twins, or Sully and Brook... So this means Bad Moon Rising next? YESSSSSS!! :D
Yeah, Tom is an absolute pleasure to run these games with. When you've done something thousands of times, it's easy to forget to explain certain things that you just take for granted. Tom is the glue that's holding each of these episodes together.
Honestly props to both of the minions for that win. Obviously Luke had people convinced he was good, but Sullivan was the one who gave Isaac the loaded gun XD
Now i understand why the evil team is out numbered. This game was like 5 on 5 with isaac and carly doing their own thing and the good team didn't stand a chance.
If there's anything I've learned, it's that you can never trust Isaac. Because if he's evil, he works against the good team. And if he's good, he works against the good team.
A fun move could've been to kill no one and fake Sully being the demon. Force them to choose a twin then you're still around even if they guess right. Also might (if your evil twin picks up on your bluff at least) force both twins to state the same information for another round, giving town nothing to differentiate them. Edit: obviously the chosen move worked out though.
Oh Laurie, I love that you bring so many songs into the show. I don't remember which game it was but reminding me of "You're the voice" made me really happy. :) You are one of my favourites!
Loved that de GMs said turning Isaac into the klutz was an amazing play and then Sully just admitted he did it randomly and basically with no clue to what he was doing 😂😂
Good god, that whole round started off great already. Luke and Olli trying to sus out if they can both be the good twin, because Luke is just SO convincing. Sully trying to claim that he'll keep silent this time (even though I guess he just didn't have a bluff). Adam falsely claiming sage TO the sage. I love it so much. Also Isaac turning into the Klutz and then freaking blackmailing the rest of them so he'd stay alive. Wow. He's just gone off the deep end. This is so cool, I love all the chaos this one gave. 'Why is everyone mad today?' Theme of this episode. And Isaac got the win for the evil team. Wow.
I’ve literally been going through recent comments and telling people about the correction. I think a lot of people were confused-immediately paused the video and commented “What am I missing?”-and then later found out after Ben corrects it haha.
so excited! love these videos. not normally one for the youtube comments confessional but here goes...I recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne - a tough move as I left my social circle and family to make the move. Because of this series I checked and found the local BOCT group and have now attended a couple of sessions and through the game I've met a great bunch of people. I'd encourage anyone who enjoys these videos to seek out the game, trust me it's as much fun as it looks! Anyway just wanted to thank the No Rolls Barred crew for their dedication to the series. Only now having attended and played the game do I appreciate the insane editing work that must go into these. Long may they continue. Thanks guys!
I thought of an interesting Demon play. As any demon, on day 1 publicly claim to be the good twin as one of your bluffs and that one of your minions is the evil twin. This will make the town extremely reluctant to execute you and unlikely to suspect you as the demon. Then just make sure the minion acts slightly more suspicious than you so that when the time comes to get rid of the twin, they'll get rid of your minion and not you and when the game doesn't end, the town will think you're pretty much clear. Of course this could backfire if there really is an evil twin in the game or if the minion you claim is the evil twin doesn't immediately pick up on what you're doing and play along.
By the end, with the way the abilities had already been used, even if the good team managed to kill the demon (Jon), I don't see how they would be able to manage to figure out the good twin from the evil.
Its impossible, because the story teller feeds them the same info. They dont control their abilities. Its hard to think about how they will do it honestly.
The missed opportunity from the good guys perspective, is that if Jon was the Seamstress (obviously he wasn't), they should have used his ability on someone they knew was good and one of the twins. From there, they could've held on to that information until they determined how much poison chicanery was going on and worked with that after the demon was dead.
The Savant and Artist had the best chance to distinguish Between the twins. With Brooke probably having the best means to do it. Carley also could have philosophized into something like a Seamstress or Artist to solve the twins.
But you're right, by the end there were no abilities left that had the ability to tell the twins apart. The Savant was dead, the artist was both spent and dead, and the philosopher didn't have a relevant ability

@@Funktaro5not really, Isaac threw the game despite the warnings people gave. I don't think anyone was going to persuade him otherwise.
Carley is truly exceptional at this game, her read is fantastic.
Carley is excellent at the game, but I don't really understand the "I'm on the good team, but I'm going to lie to them in hopes of switching to the evil team" approach. I mean, I get that it's fun for her, but what's the point of playing a team game if you're not going to try and help your team win?
@@bradchamberlain5249 To be fair, her Savant lies were just information that she had deduced, which would have been helpful to the good team if they had used them.
@@TheWickedEnd2012except the information was categorically false and is what led to Oli getting killed and then losing the game
Jon just accepts everything and it's kind of hilarious. Laurie puts it as a 50/50 between Jon and Isaac, and Jon doesn't dispute it or get defensive at all. No one floats that Laurie could be lying, the only suspicion is if he's poisoned.
Laurie: Here's why it's Jon.
Jon: *nodding* Makes sense to me.
"Carley you're a maniac too, this whole village sucks." had me absolutely dying
Tom: "Welcome, to another hair-raising-"
Luke: *am i a joke to you*
Laurie: no, we are
Isaac, the Cerenovus has targeted you tonight. You are mad.
That is all.
Funny how Laurie was infamous for that one time he didn't take Quizzlemania seriously but here he takes these Blood on the Clock Towers seriously lol, he is the MVP of the good team
There's been a big number of players who are coming to BOTC discord servers and giving the game a try thanks to your videos
@@simonpryor877 thank you so much for your help Simon. I've sent you a request. Cheers 👍
Mind sharing the discord?
I'm so disappointed that Brooke's Artist question wasn't "is Sully evil?".
This is funnier because yes. Yes, he was evil.
@@satiregoat41 and to add to the fun, as Brooke was poisoned, she would likely have been told "no".
Personally I wish she asked
Is Oli the evil twin?
She doesn't have to ask it. She already *KNOWS!*
I was hoping for an Evil Twin game. Having Oli and Luke as the twins was brilliant. Having Luke as the evil one was plain machiavellian.
Adam upset about not getting to use his props. Lmao I wanted to see it
lmao when isaac was told he was the klutz "oh no that's shit"
I think that was the moment he snapped and went mad
"NO BROOKE NO!
... I think she forgives me everyone."
It really was.
And Sully gave him the perfect role. This was so fun.
@@thewriter8762 and then when both have taken that into consideration, the shit gets flipped.
It was such a good move to pair these two up.
Also, poor sad Oli :(
I've been binging these and adore them. I just really hope there's a game with Brooke and Sully as the twins now though for you are evil hijinks
Luke played that wonderfully. No one believed Oli. Great job
I love how often someone will basically work it all out and tell Adam, then because Adam thinks he's better at this game than he actually is (when on the good team - he's an evil genius when he's on the evil team), he manages to lead everyone including himself on a wild goose chase.
Carley and Adam both being good and both lying to each other is the perfect representation of their relationship 🤣
(yes I know it makes the most sense to lie as the snake charmer and bluff that you're the sage if you're important but still, it's so funny)
I have never seen a group of TH-camrs I want to be friends with more than you nerds! Thanks for getting me into the hobby...now to convince my friends to play BotCT
Same here. Would be so much fun to be part of that friend group. Lol
Indeed this group gets me to laugh so hard
Man, Oli has the worst time in this game and quizzelmania. Luke didn’t have to say anything and people just automatically assumed Oli was evil. Feels bad man.
Olithaurity 4 lyfe!
Luke is also a Cena level babyface too.
Yea, it's painfully obvious who's the evil twin between the two :D
Isaac: "Peace was never an option."
I hope this series never ends. I genuinely have never laughed harder than watching y’all play this
Isaac is usually such a meticulous player and seeing his absolute madness this game was awesome. I loved it!
I watched this episode first, then went and watched the first episode.
He switched it up completely in comparison.
50:35 Angela absolutely seeing red flags all over her screen the moment Adam opened his mouth
I've missed Oli! It's always fun to see him play.
I loved the dynamic with the evil twin. This was insane.
All of you are becoming better and better in this game!
Isaac was like
“50/50? Oh I like those odds”
*loses the game*
I am always rooting for Team Evil. That third act babyface sympathy from Oli Davis though genuinely got me. I feel for you bud!
I feel like poor Laurie often is getting the right reads but no one listens to him. On the other hand, he seems to take some satisfaction in being right but having no one listen to him? Maybe it's for the best haha
Tom and ben: Laurie has told no one
Laurie 10 minutes ago to everyone: Im the flower girl
23:05 Luke low key reveals Jon to be the killer. Lol
Carley's face at Sully's eventual hard claim was incredible.
Poor Oli! He looked so defeated most of the game. 😆
The best part of this episode is the "TWIN" always arguing as they meet each other as a greeting. 😂
I’m only 19 mins in, but I was thinking so far: “well this one is going to be interesting, Sully is evil again that’s fun. I wonder if there will be a wrenc….OMG Carley with the Snake Charmer ability! Jon is doomed!!!”
We’ll see how this goes lol.
Well, Carly is a force of nature.
Never miss an episode. This is the best series I watch on any service. Please never stop. Ben and Tom are great storytellers and the players are all so great. I like the new additions and switching out who plays each time. It really keeps things interesting.
"It is the fourth and final game of our sects and violets trilogy." Admin is the drunk
They are technically correct, as one of the episodes wasn't part of the trilogy because it was a shorter game.
@@TheBT Yeah guess you're right. Still funny wording though.
I don’t know if they’re the drunk, but they sure as hell aren’t the mathematician.
One of these Days, Sully has to pull a Brooke, and just start screaming at Brooke: “ARE YOU EVIL!”
Hope they are both evil next game
@@ikestan2183 Oh Yeah, Absolutely.
We are evil
Are you evil?
Are you evil?
Are WE evil?
The look on Oli's face at the end is sad.
Luke you mischievous bastard! Playing your best friend like that! I love it!
Issac, pulling defeat from the jaws of victory
53:13 Shake no, nod yes... timed perfectly. Classic...
If there's anything I've learned, it's that you can never trust Isaac. Because if he's evil, he works against the good team. And if he's good, he works against the good team.
the evil twin is such a genius character
Hell yeah another video I'm so keen for this after the last Blood On The Clocktower! Team Sully all the way.
Still the best series on youtube by a mile. Excellent stuff all !
Great game, evil team played very nicely and communicated with each other properly. Ending was kinda crazy. Thoroughly enjoyable.
53:17 is one of the many reasons why I love Luke.
Loved that de GMs said turning Isaac into the klutz was an amazing play and then Sully just admitted he did it randomly and basically with no clue to what he was doing 😂😂
I'm glad these are recorded ahead of time so I can watch WrestleTalk and be like "Okay they don't hate each other now"
coming back to this for the third time, my fav episode 😭😂 Luke gaslighting oli is the FUNNIEST thing ever
Brook and Sully are couple goals ❤️❤️❤️ absolutely love em
Wow.
Luke and Oli being a twins is a greatest storytelling in history
I'm so glad Ben corrected his error... cuz I thought I completely misunderstood how the philosopher works. 😅
I’ve literally been going through recent comments and telling people about the correction. I think a lot of people were confused-immediately paused the video and commented “What am I missing?”-and then later found out after Ben corrects it haha.
outstanding. everything about the twins in this game was incredible.
so excited! love these videos. not normally one for the youtube comments confessional but here goes...I recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne - a tough move as I left my social circle and family to make the move.
ADAM: ❤
Because of these videos I started up a Monthly Blood on the Clocktower Night with the members of our Studio Discord. So much fun has been had!
This is my favorite series on any channel and I hope it continues
Right in the intro. Tom “welcome to another hair raising...” *Luke touch his bald head lmao 🤣
This series needs to continue forever.
Everyone of these videos makes me more and more excited to get my copy of this game. Love them!
