    First part is very interesting. You are certainly a talented artist. Beautiful outcome on both batches. You lost me on the last part of the video with endless chatter. Thx 4 sharing ur work with us🌷

    You explain what you're doing very thoroughly and I appreciate hearing your thoughts about each soap! I did like that the second batch had more white than the first batch; I feel like it really made the blues pop! I enjoyed this video, thank you.

    Beautiful soap. I liked your point about 'more is better' with the hanger. I'm always afraid I am overdoing it and then I am disappointed with the outcome. Thanks for sharing your technique!

    Hi! I really like this soap! I agree,the color combo is is so good’. I made my second soap late, my first soap… I was pushing in an embed that was made from two pieces… it broke apart & a piece sunk to the bottom, also… I lined my mold thinking I would not have leaks… nope…. I turned around to put in the oven, and thin soap batter was oozing out the bottom of my wood mold with a sliding bottom… yeah…. So I changed my plan a little as I am out of the soap dough color and it will be ready to cut on Monday!

    Hi jennifer, did you do a 70/30 split (blue/black) on your ombre colors? I went to look at your ombre tutorial and noticed you said that you thought that color split was nicer, but I couldn't tell if you'd done that here. This is my first ombre, so am trying to maximize my chances of success! Thank you for posting so many helpful videos. It looks like so much work.

    • @TheSoapArtist
      @TheSoapArtist  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Pretty sure these were a 70/30 split. It's my go to most of the time. I always do the darker color in 30 and the lighter color in 70. I find that gives me the best ombre, but you can definitely play around with the ratio.

      Thank you for your reply! I watched your ciaglia video today and then had my own scare regarding whether my soap had gotten to trace or or not, that dough is so darn thick with the shreds blended in and then seems to get to thick trace so fast when you add the lye that it's hard to be sure! It's CPOPing now, so I guess I'll find out in the morning if its an oily mess or not. Thank you again for all the work you do and share with us!

    Both batches were just beautiful! Question...for your snowflake embeds...did you make them with glycerin soap or cold process? Thanks so much. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    • @TheSoapArtist
      @TheSoapArtist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks :) The snowflakes were made with soap dough and the extruder discs I made :) jennifersoap.com/collections/christmas-holiday-discs/products/snnowflake-extruder-discs

      Yeah, if I didn’t know they’re were different batches I would think they’re from the same batch! I was just afraid at the time they wouldn’t work with the first batch so did a second right after as I knew I wouldn’t have time the next day!
