Loved the honesty of this review, something that is often sadly lacking where sales are concerned. The three categories do mean something to think about for nearly everyone’s budget and the plinking pistol was a good addition.

Maybe someone was taking note at the factory. Llyods reviews were always honest, knowledgeable and simply brilliant. Sadly missing in recent years.
Not many new springers and I didn't feel any of them deserved our award . Next year though could be very different if stuff comes out that's promised , and I hope it is :) Next video will have recommendations on every category so plenty of them to come .

Hi Lloyd as the proud owner of a Kral NP02 i'm pleased to see it's rightful recognition, they are quite simply a superb Rifle, easily the match of my Ultra Se,it's good to see the HW110 win as well,it's fair to say it has received a lot of negative comments since it's launch a couple of years ago, usually from people who have never owned one,but hey ho,everyone is entitled to their own opinions,as for the Red Wolf, well that is out of my league, but does look very nice,a great all round review.

Unfortunately a large portion of Krals PCP rifles don't come to America. I have a few Krals but this one with the short barrel isn't available here. They have some cool stuff in their catalog.
Hiya Blackpool Air Rifles I hope your all well. I was wondering do you have a Umarex Walther lever action in Stainless Steel version. If you have how much ?. Thanks very much guys.😁
For 2019, the rifle to watch for (when it gets released on the market) is the Umarex .50 cal. Hammer! With a large slug, it can develop 700 foot/pounds of energy at the barrel, and is good enough to be used for big game hunting. It's definitely not a backyard rifle, since it's loud. And, not good for small critter hunting (there will be nothing left of the critter!).
Got the first two .. really thought the Wolverine R would be the premium priced winner .. while I'm on , who won the snazzy moderator competition? ( The one on Hot air ) ...
I prefer the Wolverine but the Red wolf was the bigger seller with better reliability . Silencer comp winner will be announced on the next Hot air in a couple of weeks time :)
Thanks for the reply Lloyd ... It's the Dreamline ( classic version ) that's playing on my mind though ... Wolverine R is my backup plan ..only the NEC next month stands between my decision ... Hope BOTH are available too test
I’m seriously considering an hw110 that they have used in my local shop but also the Walther rotex rm8 which they have in at £180 less. My main worry is the plastic/resin receiver and rail. Also how easy does that stock mark? I’m only a target shooter I don’t do anything living. I know the hw will keep its price better but the Walther is a lovely rifle with similar magazine. I’ll go down on Monday and have a proper compare👍
The RM8 is good value and the stock seems to be pretty tough , but the two guns aren't in the same league. If you can afford it , definitely go for the Weihrauch :)

Great video buddy as always. Love the Glock pistol... On that note, I have bought my Son a BB (Plastic BB) rifle and pistol and both come in BRIGHT ORANGE which not chuffed about. I got pistol a couple of years back, and rifle few weeks back. Why are PLASTIC bb guns bright and Co2 not?
Are the bright one more likely to be considered toys that children play with but the co2 being a pressurised gas is probably aimed at the older child mid teen up and adults.
Probably due to the amount of soft air being used as kids toys. It helps the Police identify what they are dealing with better, but I still think its a bit pointless because real firerams could be painted orange, or soft airguns can be re-painted black.
Good, informative video. I had to adjust some to the accent (I am American), but, you had a lot of good info that I never really considered. I haven't shot Krals, HW110s and the others, so, I never considered reliability. Yes, it sounds stupid now, but, I figured all airguns were reasonably reliable. Thanks for the video.
Great stuff, Lloyd. Your honesty, straight forward style, and insight always makes this interesting. I will even put up with the occasional pistol reviews even though I have zero interest in pistols :-) In terms of content I think "best" is much more interesting than "new", so looking forward to that next video. Hopefully you include springers for completeness. In terms of sales, what's the ratio of springers to pcps these days? I was wondering, actually, do you have anything interesting to say about compressors? Or is the UK market hand pumping, and tanks filled at scuba shops? I have not seen the Kral NP-02 in person but it seems to give Quasimodo some competition at the pageants. At the end of the day if performance, reliability and price makes up for it, then their success is well deserved. I am somewhat surprised that Weihrauch HW100/HW110 still does well for you without external power adjuster. Hopefully, they have something up their sleeves at the upcoming IWA. I want to shoot the Predator GTOs, or failing that H&N Baracuda Greens. They run pretty hot for those light pellets (in FAC), and dialing them back takes some work to get at the internal regulator.
Next videos will be best, not new :) Ratio is about 50/50 for us in sales. Most of the UK market uses bottles, about 5% pumps but as new cheaper compressors are coming I expect to see a few sold to private individuals. Next thing from Weihrauch is the new Hw100 bullpup. I will be showing it on the channel very soon :)
Surprised you had no problems with the Weirauch, I am always reading on my forums about them leaking air, 9/10 if the heading reads ‘help needed with leaking gun” it’s a Weirauch.

They still sell although their reputation has been badly damaged , but If they carry on improving like they've done with the red wolf I think they still have a chance . my choice would be the artimis m16d a theoben rapid copy regulted whatz not to want there cheap there very accurate and there just fantastic use the single shot loading tray and get it in .25 😍😍😍😍😍
Can i ask a question please. Let's say the coronavirus went away but came back and the next time nobody had patience and everyone rioted, I wanted to hide on an Island, would a legal air rifle in u.k be able to kill someone from 50 yards, for instance if they was coming across on a boat. ?
Im a firearm guy but something keeps bringing me to air rifle videos. Im gonna need to get one its just hard to walk away from my modded 10-22 with silencer co Sparrow shooting subs. WHY WHY WHY grrrr. Nothing beats quiet shots and ringing steel I feel a PCP could give me that too.
I pretty much agree with everything you said but I am surprised Fx didn’t get a mention otherwise all good as usual wouldn’t expect anything else keep up the good work guys👍
I don’t think that’s the case at all they have more than proven themselves pretty much dominated everything over the last two years competition wise. But everyone’s entitled to their opinion
FX does marketing and buys you tubers better than anyone. Everything else - they're no better than the other high end manufacturers, despite what those sponsored you tubers might say. Reliability is worse than daystate with more things that can and do go wrong. Still good guns though, once everything working right.
Lloyd Schober Hi Lloyd - nah, but friends with a few of them here in SA though, one of whom was the main fx dealer for a long while. Smallish airgun community this side. Owned my fair share of both brands too, with MANY more problems with fx than daystate. Why do you ask?
The one new Fx gun in 2018 was the Crown and it's simply not as good in enough categories to beat the Daystate . I take into consideration a lot of things that customers might not know about, like reliabilty , sales, ease of warranty repairs as well a performance looks, advancements etc. Next video will be our recommendations video and that will include at least one fx maybe 2 :)

Improving!!! At the consumers expense and grief! They will no longer improve at my expense! Real junk!! Do you sell that junk to people with a straight face? If so, you should be ashamed of yourself!

If I buy an air rifle from you where can I use it?.
Land you have permision for or own. Lot of info if you google Frank , such as : www.shootinguk.co.uk/answers/airgun-shooting-permission-99451
Hi where can i contack your people whant to buy a air refle thanks
www.airgunbuyer.com :)
Who buys Daystate at their prices and complications? Get a Weihrauch and a custom stock .
@johnny rotten It should be Politicians in "stocks"!
They still sell although their reputation has been badly damaged , but If they carry on improving like they've done with the red wolf I think they still have a chance . They just can't put a step wrong now . Too many ex owners with gripes so they really have to address them . Personally I'd start by saying sorry .
@@LloydSchober what do you think of the Daystate Griffin and does it have reliability issues. Cant make mind up between Hw100 or Griffin. David
Hw 100 any day fantastic rifles real rifles

Why no springer gas ram winner?
Because there were no really good new gas ram guns released in 2018
Can I order air rifle from your store and ship to philippines.
We don't export any more. Sorry.
Nice, enjoy be safe and secure your rifles if you have children, keep them in your bedroom under cover
You could use the Doug Score matrix :-D
Can i ask a question please.
Let's say the coronavirus went away but came back and the next time nobody had patience and everyone rioted, I wanted to hide on an Island, would a legal air rifle in u.k be able to kill someone from 50 yards, for instance if they was coming across on a boat. ?
People have died from UK legal airguns but it's rare and unlikely . I think most of the time you would just make the victim extremely annoyed.
I am really happy with my Vepr 12 with my 25 round drum mags. Can knock down cement walls with it..
Vepr 12's are gorgeous. Congrats on a fine weapon.
I used to a firearms guy but I prefer airguns and now shoot them exclusively :)
Nice review s still like my hk usp blowback like my 1911
Ps whens hot air back on?
We are working on Hot air now , but it will be worth the wait as we might have a big announcement :)
@@LloydSchober thx for that 👍
£750 for an air rifle that’s nearly as much as my tikka center fire rifle
nice rm8 on the far left
Somewhere, in the Blackpool area, a tea pot is going cold. :-)
lily Roberts what’s the point
we are english theres always a point for tea
The only daystates I've ever liked are the huntsman range, the rest are just overpriced bollicks! Look lovely as a ornament though.
Is that jonesy I hear at the end?🤔😂
Yep, bless him. He comes to torment us regularly.
@@blackpoolairrifles9311 he is the oracle with regards to springers that man
I've heard him called something similar to that quite a few times ;) Yep, he's the man , especially collectables and older stuff.
Good Vid as ever . I have the Red Wolf in FAC and its off the hook good . Best FAC airgun out there .... I reckon anyway :)
@@bakerg21 Are you a dealer Greg?
Lloyd Schober
Hi Lloyd - nah, but friends with a few of them here in SA though, one of whom was the main fx dealer for a long while.
Price is important ...... I'm running out of kidneys to sell.
Mike Sharp. I know the feeling Mike some of these air rifles are expensive m8. Need to remortage the house for some. You take care
buy yourself a cz 22 rimfire and you dont have to wory about o ring problems or cocking springs breaking.,,
No ,do the job properly and buy a Anchutz !.
A common sense approach. £1000 plus on an air rifle I can’t see the logic of that. Buy an s410 job done.
My neighbors would not take kindly to me plinking in my small back garden with a rimmie.
10-22 swap barrel and trigger add a silencerco sparrow (don't need it but it helps :)) my current set up so much fun.
