Was there in September in 2019. Had my guy Gianluca drop me and my mother off at Piazza Tasso and she sat at a place to eat near where the flags are located and had a pina coloda to drink while I walked around and went into the shops. I love the south of Italy and it's where my heritage hails from. I can't wait to go back. Watching your videos brings back memories and how you film shows the beauty of Italy. I felt like I was in paradise when I was there.

@@ProWalks I don't think so. They are great as they are. Maybe label the main piazzas (which you do already in some videos like your Pompeii one) so I can find them on the map. I travel alone and sometimes Google doesnt work so I need visual landmarks to work with to find on the map. I love watching them. It's like being there in some ways and I'm in lockdown in France so 'being there' is a great comfort. Im usually always traveling. I just found you so have only seen 3 or 4 videos so far. Keep up the good work!

Hey Rik, a lot of people do talk with me and this why sometimes you'll see the video jump a bit to a new clip. The video cut off so soon at the end because the guy there started talking with me about what I was doing and how Sorrento is getting through these hard times. There was another guy I talked to for about 5 minutes in the middle of the video who was sitting outside his store. But yes, in general people are always pretty nice and are welcoming. I am tall though and look pretty focused when I'm walking so maybe people just know that I'm "working." :)
@@ProWalks That is so cool and it gives them/you a chance to practice your Italian/English. Things are rough here as well, but the world thrives on US tourism and we aren't touring...yet. WE also have to restore our small businesses. Your editing is excellent, those breaks are hardly noticeable and what is that musical tone I hear so often, a low battery indicator or what:) Cheers, Rik

Hi there, on recommendation from my Mum and Dad we made a holiday out of staying in Sorrento and visiting the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Herculaneum. I love this walk - we enjoyed evening walks in Sorrento and the great sunset from Villa Communale Balcony. We were there from 27th April 24 - 3rd May 24. We didn't see as much of Sorrento as all the Sorrento videos show, but it was certainly helpful to see the town first. And who knew that the apartment we stayed in is actually in another video - right at the end of Corso Italia - close to the hospital.

Hi there, for this time round I really enjoyed staying in Sorrento - it's an easy little town - fun to walk around in the evening. I loved going to the balcony to watch the sunset and down to Marina Grande, and the clothes in the shops. I would like to see more of Naples. I wish I had time on the bus tour to see more of Positano and Amalfi. BUT I did visit Ravello and Villa Cimbrone - that was another placed inspired by yourself, and also a British Gardener - Monty Don's Italian Gardens series. I'll also have to comment on your other relevant videos -e.g. Capri@@ProWalks
