The thing I'm really noticing with the newer songs, is that Jon's vocals are in a league of their own at this point. From his sound, flow and lyrics, he's definitely my favorite unclean vocalist. The whole band KILLED it. I have a feeling Jackpot Juicer is gonna be HUGE for these guys.
I was thinking the same thing about the Messy One. I'm a newer DGD fan, but I've gone back through all of their material. These 2 tracks, he is completely mental.

This band can do wrong. It's so hard to see Tim, but at the same time, I'm so thankful we have these videos in honor of him. This album is going to top tier, just like all the other ones. The fact the can create masterpiece after masterpiece is truly amazing.

I didn’t love all of the afterburner album but I was also dealing with personal shit that ruined it, but so far this album sounds like artificial selection did, but almost with mothership infused. I ducking love it!
I feel like people don't realize that Tilian will actually most likely back in a few months after he's done with therapy. It's important to understand that he wasn't kicked from the band he stepped away to get help for himself. People here are thinking that this is the end of the Tilian era but I doubt it. Tilian has pushed this band to new heights and let's be honest it won't be the same without him. I also believe we should give him the opportunity to come back if he is trying to be a better person, people deserve second chances.

I hope he comes back, it's hard to tell though. This shit has divided the entire fanbase, and I think DGD was the biggest it's ever been after the release of Afterburner. I'd say if Tilian doesn't return, they might as well just break up, I know they announced they are going to move forward for another album, but that'll probably be it. I'm honestly scared to see Jackpot Juicer turn out to be a total flop because of people who can't separate art from the artist. People still drop to their knees for Jonny, but god forbid Tilian do something..

Love the Andrews and Wills chemistry on these tracks. It's like they built and combined their heavyier guitar style from artificial selection with the clean style in afterburner and made this beautiful and hard ass track

I am going to miss Tim's groove and Tillian's vocals. I wish Till didn't do what he did, he was talented as hell.
So excited for this, I think it's gonna be a really good one! This band has done so much for me. Im very sad to see that Tim passed. I drew him for the art show so people could respect him and acknowledge what he has created and how he has changed people's lives. Over 2000 people saw it. I'm so glad I got to open up and share my feels through that art work. Dance Gavin Dance thank you for making everyday an incredible one for me! Love y'all!

Tilian and Jon sounds more like a dynamic duo on this album. They’re closer than ever.
Exactly what I was thinking. Jon hasn’t had this much prominence in the singles since DBM2. This album is shaping up to be the best dynamic Jon and Tilian have ever had together.
I read an interview from Tilian earlier this year that him and Jon collaborated a lot on writing this record, more than any other record.

DGD is a textbook example of a band that exceeds as a result of the sum of its parts. Each member becomes exponentially greater in the presence of each other. Tim’s exit is going to be the biggest hit this band ever took but they will overcome because they owe it to Tim to persevere.

Tonight I just cruised downtown, windows down, this song on repeat. What a banger. If the rest of Jackpot Juicer is like this, we have the best DGD record since Mothership!
On another, more somber note, DGD will never be the same after Tim. Damn, it seems right as they signed Andrew for that 6-piece they’ve truly been since Mothership, we lost Mr. Strawberry’s Wake solo himself. Sergio’s gonna kill it on this tour and they’ll no doubt find a talented bassist moving forward, but there’s no replacing Tim Feerick.
When I read their statement about the tour, I told one of my friends that of course, Tim should still be with us. But since he isn't, the bass parts are in good and capable hands with Sergio.

honestly, I decided about a month ago I wanted to move on from guitar and piano and try my hand at bass, Specifically because of Tim and DGD.
I believe former mixes of older songs don't do Tim any justice and have thought so for a while.
if someone doesn't know, Tim had his own channel, TimDGD and he posted playthrough after playthrough and instrumental trqcks/demo mixes that I wish they had used on the CDs.
Thank you Tim, for sparking this new interest in me.

Jon and Tillan both sound at their absolute best on this album especially Jon his vocals have improved so much. Tim’s instrumentals are something that’s always made DGD stand out losing him is such a tragic loss for the band.

This song is maybe my favorite DGD song in a long time and it just means so much more now that I can hear Tim playing. Some of the songs he was a part of changed my entire life. I'll cherish the new music now more than ever in honor of him. I'll be helping to keep Tim alive at the show in Toronto this August. He's in my ears every day. Ok, ok, this song is incredible!!! The lyrics, the vocals, the melodies, oh wow... Also, I think this is the best music video they've ever made. I didn't know what to expect and seeing the first shot with Jon like this was e-p-i-c! He is absolutely incredible! Seeing the other guys in the fruit costumes was also awesome and just the theme of the video and how it played out was great. I am smiling like an idiot right now... And the hype for more is bigger than ever! Jackpot Juicer will be an insane album.

I will miss Tim very much. We had so many memories. He was an amazing friend and down to earth guy. I'll miss all the fun times we had after shows and how he always texted when he was coming to my state so I could come out. Times at the "after" party and just hanging out with everyone drinking and having a blast and getting CDs from Tillian out of his van 😂 I wish I could go back to those days. Thank you to each of you. I should have come out to California when Tim asked me to! I'm sorry I didn't make it out. I love you guys. You'll be missed Tim thank you for being a part of my life back then.
