I don't trust Kishore n China. China is still very Communist! My friend lost more than $1 million doing business in China because he was cheated by the Chinese businessman! China is full of corruption from top to the bottom! Kishore, how much are you paid by China? Who would want to waste so much time talking about China issues for free? Kishore is questionable! Kishore, how come you are not doing business in China when you want to be a CCP mouthpiece? Kishore, i don't trust Kishore either!

Here is why some of the reasons West afraid of China?
    1) Manufacturing superiority over US.
    2) Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) = WEST failed BBBW.
    3) Better Infrastructure > US collapsing infrastructure & deteriorating public facilities.
    4) Beidou = GPS.
    5) Heavenly space station = International space station.
    6) China Cheap Electric Vehicle (EV) > US internal combustion engine & Expensive EV.
    7) Huawei 5G & coming 6G > US 4G & 4.5G😅
    8) China lifted 850 millions people out of poverty > US incredible surge in homeless & surging middle class poverty.
    9) China strict Drugs and Guns Rules. > US drugs addiction and Guns violence mass shooting. Safety problems.
    10) China strict anti corruption laws > US disguise political corruptions by lobbyist as political donations.

Wrote this a while back but applies to this subject:
At age 64 (2015) my Canadian friend who at that point had lived in China for 17 years convinced me to come see for myself how advanced China was in infrastructure, technology and morality compared to our country of Canada and any of the 5 eyes countries.
So I spent months in SE Asia exploring with a Canadian friend who had lived there for 17 years.
The lies and propaganda just can't compete when you go see for yourself.
As a Westerner who believes all the propaganda do you ever wonder how come such an evil empire as China has not dropped bombs, not invaded, not sanctioned, does not Assassinate other countries officials and yet your country (so morally superior) why do you do all these things or at minimum support the US as they do all these things?
Do you ever ask yourself that? Do you ever wonder why America (land of the free) has more prisoners than any other country in the world?
Do you ever wonder how China pulled 850 million people out of poverty while America gave all it's wealth to the 1%.
Do you ever wonder why walking in downtown America at night is seriously risking your Life while walking in any major cities in China day or night is perfectly safe?
Do you ever wonder how China can give 1.4 billion people free education and reasonable regulated healthcare with the right to choose between traditional Chinese medicine or Western medicine, while in America most people can't afford health care?
Do you ever wonder why a single party country with 1.4 billion people have a government approval by survey of 90+% yet not a single 5 eyes countries or NATO countries can even achieve 50%.
Do you every wonder why elected politicians don't represent the people who elected them?
Do you ever wonder why a country that "we say" oppresses their population has 155 million citizens travel abroad and they all come home.
Lastly do you ever wonder how a country that has achieved so much has not had a single positive news article in the new York Times or the Wall Street journal or any of the major networks?
If you don't wonder about any of these things, then you probably think your not bombing Syria to steal their oil, your not sanctioning Venezuela to control their oil, your not sanctioning Huawei because they are more advanced.
You probably also believe Edward Snowden is a traitor rather than a hero, you probably think the war crimes Chelsea Manning revealed were justified and you probably think Americans are still the good guys.
Perhaps get a passport, go see the truth, redemption is still a possibility.
    - Vic Toews

The west is complaining about Xi getting a no term limit because under him, China is even progressing rapidly, perhaps they think without Xi heading China, China's progress will slow down.
They don't know that his successor might turn out to be at par or even better than Xi. After all, chinese leaders rise through merit and all of them started from the bottom and the cream rose to the top. All those in the chinese politburo and other top officials took about 3 decades to get there, they were tried and tested, and are ready to be the next prime leader.

The US also largely controls food, and fast food, shopping, fuel, mining, gas, coal, medical, and many other industries. So much wealth, un taxed, and lightly taxed is taken from Australia. Yes, all great powers bully smaller nations. This is a fact, and China is no exception.
However, there's a HUGE difference between China and the United States. China is a peaceful nation and she prefers to avoid war. The United States is a warmongering imperialist. This, too, is fact.
China has fought no wars since 1979, whereas the United States has fought many (e.g., Afghanistan, El Salvador, Grenada, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Yugoslavia, etc.). The United States has also instigated a proxy war in Ukraine against Russia.
Furthermore, the United States is taking provocative actions in East Asia, arming Taiwan, sending officials to Taipei, conducting naval exercises around Taiwanese waters, expanding military bases in the Philippines, and forming the AUKUS pact against China. This is very, very dangerous.

The US was created upon European immigration and colonization, African slave trade, genocide of aboriginal people, and conquest and forced annexation of foreign territories.
Rampant racism against minorities, widespread drug abuse, frequent gun violence, cruel exploitation of new immigrants as cheap labor, ridiculous gap between rich and poor, looting of global wealth through addictive money printing, economic and military coercion of "allies and foes" around the world, bombing and killing of millions of civilians in foreign lands under the cover of "human rights, democracy and liberty", are some of the key features of American led so called "rule based international order".
The American tyranny of dictatorship on international order based on lie fabrication, economic coercion and military bullying will soon come to a slow end, following the outcry from the world against the atrocities happening in Gaza. A truely open, free and democratic international order based on UN Charter will be restored for all of humankind, which is exactly what the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative and Global Civilization Initiative are looking for.

hmm.. a) US knows having a better relationship with China would help US, but US DOES NOT want a country more powerful than US, and Europe, pardon me to say it here, is not smart at all, and certainly very fragmented, in fact, I am not sure EU would last long. b) not all superpower bullies small states.. China's political philosophy is parental guidance. A bit like a homeroom teacher, maintaining orders fairly, that's why China adheres to UN charter. Look at how China treats Lithuania: just a cold shoulder and Lithuania shivers. That's not bullying.

Personally, don't know what kinds of business the Good Professor Kishore had have previously or currently engaged in PRChina. However, from nearly two decades dealing with Chinese Nationals ...learnt my valuable lessons dealing with Chinese Businessmen .. Whenever oneself makes a contract/agreement or JV with anyone from the PRChina Chinese Nationals, take, prepare and make contingency and mitigation into consideration and if possible into the Contract/Agreement (usually difficult to add-on), what if this fellow(s) decide deliberately not to fulfil nor to comply with the stipulations / obligations of the terms of the Contract/Agreement or decide later to UNILATERALLY change the terms of the Agreement. What can then be done to enforce or to mitigate the losses, otherwise just wait to be screwed. Myself had even one case of such audacity, encountered in whilst in Middle-East, where a Chinese Company refused to pay for transportation & forwarding services rendered and worse for the reimbursement of Customs Duties paid on its behalf. When confronted, these Chinese Owners responded, "we refuse to pay, and what are you or can you do about it ??: hence ... make extreme caution must be exercised working with Chinese Nationals, at SOEs and Private Businesses ...The Chinese basically ALL cannot be trusted.

As a Marxist-Leninist, I accept the lesson of a political realist on the nature of international relationships, based on the interests of major industrial and financial groups in each state.
The lesson begins to lose it when Prof. Kishore says that the US and other old imperialist powers must find an agreement to give way to the new Chinese power and the other rising imperialist powers.
This is not the case, because especially the US would have too much to lose in a post-Bretton Woods world.
We Leninists know that there is always a dialectic of union and division between the national bourgeoisies, and that their agreements can never be global or permanent, and that sooner or later the unequal development will lead to war, as in the past. Whether it will be the third world war or a long series of devastating limited conflicts, no one can know now.
The professor, a champion of the capitalist rule of the bourgeoisie, miss to introduce class conflict into the equation. He speaks of the states as unitary entities, which they are not. The wars of the bourgeoisie are not in the interest of the proletariat in any nation, because it doesn't participate in the sharing of profit.
Thus, the devastation of the wars that will come, will open a new window of opportunity for the proletariat to free itself from the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. It will be up to us to seize this opportunity...

Ego is a very powerful thing that can destroy a man or country. Take sports as an example. No person or team who have been at No 1 want's to be No 2. The power and respect you command will be gone the moment you are No2. This is what the US fears the most. It'll even do a Tonya Harding to stay at No1.
