Get rid of the horn guy!
PROPER mountain bike course to sort the skilled riders from the ones that just have the legs to keep up
The commentary was fine.
Overall, I really enjoyed watching this and thought that the commentary was quite good.
I also enjoy these technical courses, it requires matched elite fitness with skillful riding that is the essence of MTB.
Inspiring race by Bjorn Riley!
great race
OMG a full run :O
NO WAY... Whoop what happened???
Siempre N1NO THE BEST 💪🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏆🏆🏆
Awesome race
Amazing from Amos but what outstanding character and tenacity from Bjorn Riley to claw back that second place after a skewed stem and a chain-off. Great track too, really testing for the riders.
The horn noise was really annoying and I found it hard to hear the commentary. Thanks for showing the full race.
Yep, watched most of it on mute.
Seriously, should a race director stop the person doing that? It's certainly distracting to The spectators, it must be infuriating for the racers.
Every sport has its hooligans
Freaking horn noise ANNOYING!!! I had to fast forward the video.
Do they really think that is cheering?… Why the need of such an obnoxious sound?
Agree!!! And the chainsaw in other venues worse
nicely done by these U.S riders
Are we going to get the full mens elite aswell ? :)
Rileys have skills

That freaking horn!! Made it difficult to watch
Really enjoyed this video and the broad approach and advice given..
I think.. and it's because I feel it'd be useful for me.. hopefully other people too.. some basic, techniques and patterns.. some building blocms that you can just dial without needing to think about the wider picture. We know we need the whole picture, but it's so daunting for a new player who doesn't necessarily have a technical level. It sounds dumb and it sounds bad. But I think us lower end guys just need some licks that we can hope to launch off to get our own creative stuff flowing. The hardest part for the teacher is bridging the gap between teaching a basic lick and telling us to practice and explaining how this one twiddle might fit into a wider situation.. maybe like Chord >> Scale >> intervalic note pattern.. I dunno. I like your style of teaching though...keep it up!
What the h
Practice makes perfect. When I raced XC, there was no such thing as a coach unless you were riding at an international level. One thing that helped me develop bike handling skills was that I started before clipless pedals were available and I hated not being locked in to the pedals, so I used old school toe clips with road cleats that locked me in to the pedals and I had to reach down to swipe the straps to get out. It forced me to become a better bike handler and made ride up stuff most people would get off and hike.
@@keirfarnum6811 same here, learned with toe straps and a fully rigid. You would very carefully choose your lines for survival. Years later, I still choose my lines the same way with my 120mm travel XC rig. It matters.
Remove the horn! (so annoying/ constant)
Don't these guys know it's bad for the trails to ride when it's muddy?
Why is nobody using mudguard?!! To save weight?! I can not understand that...
Harder to deal with any mechanical issues. They get in the way. Just accept that it’s muddy and deal with it.
Trek factory made in china
Hannah Montana??
Cranna Montana! 😂
Reasons why Red Bull was better:
1) It was FREE and easy to view.
2) Because it was free more people watched it. Whopp is too busy trying to make a buck.
3) We saw more racing. Whilst the addition of Junior Finals coverage is a positive though.
4) Red Bull's graphics were better.
5) Current coverage is a pain in the a@$ to watch and are not started on time.
6) The short race coverage are okay but just a tease to get you to buy the subscription to watch live.
And ROB WARNER!!
For me it makes no sense to ride with this conditions a XCO race
Um, WHAT?! That’s absurd! I used to ride and race in conditions like this in Alaska all the time. I LOVED it! The harder it was, the more I liked it. What kind of fair weather pu$$y riding place are you from?
Bring back Warner... commentary is lacking his passion... I only come to comment then I turn it off....... Same for the downhill! You've ruined it for the sake of a few bucks... shameful!
not sure when the annoying DH fan behavior infiltrated XC but....those horns and bells are annoying AF
Haha. You might be better off watching golf and tennis.
Too many riders! Way too many...and was the course designed by a 6 year old?
Too hard for you? 😂
@@keirfarnum6811 thanks for question. Well they closed the log drops... what does that tell you?( too wet and.....dangerous?!) Dh and enduro wear some serious protective clothing for a reason, cross country is the name of the this classification. Not dh or enduro. It's not too hard for me, I ride this fun stuff on my hardtail, but we seem to be losing sight of the meaning of xc classification.
Stupid course. Simple as that.
