Hi Fighting Kitchen, There are 3 new modules in the Kittens + Beasts expansion: Kittens - These are low complexity, they don't make the game any more complicated. Beasts - These are medium complexity, they will require you to plan a little more but it's not too much. Events - These are high complexity, they will require more planning and thinking throughout the game. Each module can be used individually, so you can try them out and slowly introduce them to a point where you are comfortable. You can also mix and match them, so you could use the kittens and the beasts together, or you could use all 3 at the same time if you want a lot of added complexity. I'd also like to point out, while events do add more planning and thinking, just like the other modules the rules involved are very simple. I hope this helps!
Is this game able to be played by two or more people remotely? If so, how does that work with the cards? Would we need to have a camera set up with one deck that everyone plays from, but they fill out their sheet privately and then we compare?
Hey Razorgirl, you can play it remotely yes! In the ideal world you would have a video camera so people can see the cards, but if that isn't possible one player can set up the cards and then send a photo on a messaging app to all the other players. As you only need to see the set up of each round, you'd just need to send 7 photos during the course of the game. I hope that helps!
Hi Fighting Kitchen, I don't have any plans outside of the ones recently released via Kickstarter. Once they have shipped and people have had some time to play them, I will review the state of the game and see whether other expansions make senses.
I'll be happy to help. You can not have a "family of Oshax", so 3 or more Oshax touching don't make their own family. Oshax are always just counted as the colour cat you've chosen them to represent, so if you had 3 green Oshax touching, that would count as a family of 3 green cats. I hope that helps!
I've played Isle of Cats but wanted a quick video to learn the roll and write version and this was exactly that! Concise and accurate!
I'm glad it was helpful and hope you get to enjoy the game soon!
Will the kittens and beasts expansion make the game more thinky? If so, how much does it make it more thinky.

I have a rule question for The Isle of Cats, do 3 or more oshax make a family of oshax?
