The interesting (and genius) part about this sketch, is that the baby part wouldn’t actually work as a stand-alone sketch. It’s only once you compare it to the last sketch that is becomes funny. Great stuff.

@@AiyetoroFeligrus Yeah, agreed - I got here from a short with just the second half w/ at most the context of seeing the heading "prop switch." The baby being treated in the same way as an undesirable pastry still hits even with that being inferred.

One of the greatest and most influential videos of all time.
Omygosh. I am crying I am laughing so hard. I just started watching this vid when my mom asked me if they were talking about children. I laughed and explained that Matt was talking about a pastry. She sat down with me about twenty seconds into the video and we cried we were laughing so hard cuz we couldn't stop thinking about the child parallel. Then..... IT HAPPENED.
When I showed my mom, she thought they were talking about a baby too at first

There are some words in there that make more sense when the prop is a baby, or when it's a pastry. Sometimes the wording works with both.

Props to SNL for being able to write amazing, funny, and hilarious sketches. Props to Conan and his team for being able to write awesome bits over the years that make me laugh my butt off. But major props to studio C for making something that both a 7 year old child and a fully grown adult can laugh at, While being able to keep it clean and wholesome. It’s truly awesome what they’ve been able to produce how they’ve been able to make it clean and hilariously enjoyable
