Except it's not. Canadians, Australians, and the Irish all use the term soccer. Football used to refer to any game on foot played with a ball and there weren't any formalized rules. Eventually formalized codes such as Association Football, Rubgy Football, Australian Rules Football, Gaealic Football, and American Football developed. All the game were called football because that's what people playing them had called them before that. The term Soccer was a shortening of Association that the British invented and used to use until they started viewing it as an American thing. Basically it's called soccer in places where other football codes are more popular.
wkwkwk, football is when you play the ball with the foot. and your american football is not playing ball, but playing egg. and not with the foot. plus, your stupid american football is boring. boooo

False. Australia, Japan, Canada, Ireland, and other countries also call football soccer.
Yes and that is because in English fùtbol as the world knows it used to be called soccer like we do
LOL! Right! Considering the rest of the world plays the same football as Britain. It would probably be safe to say that the US is the one that plays the wrong football.
FourEyes in ireland we call it football ⚽️ because we use our feet we call America’s soccer 🏈 because the use there hands aswell
Well I mean british football is actually football because you genuinely use your feet

Hetalia told by Americans
"Play the wrong football"
America maybe we need to talk. It's the same everywhere around the world except America 😂😂😂
@@BoredDan7 but still a large majority of the world use football
