- Yes. I am breaking a major TCM rule. My reason: it is better to distract an itch with cold sensation, than scratch your eyes out. If you have allergies, I know it can be hard to restrain yourself. But you can do it - and this will help.
Itching an itchy eye is like throwing more gas on the fire, and your eye will itch EVEN WORSE. Using a chilled Gua Sha tool or item from your fridge is a reasonable compromise to prevent more inflammation from rubbing or scratching.
Try a chilled tool over a frozen tool. The cooling effect of your fridge is enough. You don’t need to shock your skin by penetrating frozen, cold into your energy channels.
In milder to medium cases, itching comes and goes. So you just need to make it through the peak moment, and then it will calm down. You’ll have some relief time, and then the cycle of itching will start again later. But don’t be discouraged, you can just rinse and repeat this trick. Once the tress and flowers are done with their pollinating business, you’ll be back to normal.

I subscribe that I like look like I love your video I love that video like my eye was painting me very badly. yeah this happen to me befor. had itchy eyes and i rubbed them to get rid of the itchy but i had blood shot eyes afther wipeing them. i don.t do that no more. i use to do that if i had eye lash in my eye. use to rub them to get it out. now i found a new way. just put water on my finger and tap the eye lash on my eye and the eye lash will stick right on my finger. yeah rubbing our eyes is bad. also risk of pink eye to.
Yeah it happened to me, now I have deep lines under my eye, and it still itches so bad. Oh well, I'll die one day anyway.
Okay as soon as i finished watching this i went to my fridge and immediately grabbed my dad's cold ass beer and kept it on my eyelid for a while and it actually worked! It relieved my very very itchy eye. Thank you!

Actually you should rinse your eye with hot water. Hot water makes all the impurities boil out. This is how I've gotten rid of those eye infections or any surface infection

That is scratching or rubbing. Itch is the feeling that causes you to want to rub or scratch it, not the act of rubbing it.

Another way is to wet a tissue not that much with like little bit cold water and then rub gently on your eye
I find hot steam or pack for the eyes work better
I rubbed my eyes and iched it so hard it was like SO red but then i got something cool and chilly and i putted on my eye now it feels SO ggod thanks it really helped ❤
