- Exclusive video: In an exciting tease for its upcoming run at Sadler's Wells, a new video has been released offering a look inside the rehearsal room for Singin' In the Rain.
Featuring Charlotte Gooch, Kevin Clifton and Adam Cooper, the video breaks down how the trio worked on the iconic number "Good Morning".
Also in the production are Faye Tozer as Lina and Cavin Cornwall as RF Simpson, alongside Sandra Dickinson, who will appear as Dora Bailey, Michael Matus as Roscoe Dexter and Imogen Brook as Zelda Zanders. The ensemble features Briana Craig, Alistair Crosswell, Lavinia Fitzpatrick, Alex Given, Ryan Gover, Ashleigh Graham, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Molly Rees Howe, Thomas Inge, Robin Kent, Sam Lips, Joshua Lovell, George Lyons, Heather Scott Martin, Amonik Melaco, Ashleigh Morris, Peter Nash, Megan Spiers, and Ellie May Wilson.
The piece will be directed by Jonathan Church, with musical direction by Robert Scott, sound design by Gareth Owen, video by Ian William Galloway, design by Simon Higlett, with lighting by Tim Mitchell and associate direction by Fiona Dunn. Stuart Burt is casting director, with further creative team members to be confirmed by the production.
Opening on 30 July, the show runs until 5 September. - บันเทิง

I'm 26 yrs old. I watched Singin in the Rain at 15 yrs old and fell in love with it... I love the iconic movie and now it is being revived today with a nee cast? I have to see it... No.... I need to see this i almost cried with joy to see our new younger generation to watch an iconic musical that had stayed with us for the last several generations!
Well it certainly is a good morning seeing this!!
My mother sang this to me when I was getting up for school in the morning at 8 years old. And I watched the film at an early age. It is the definition of iconic.

My great grandfather was Gene Kelly, so it is really nice to see this being revived!
I just love Gene Kelly ...what an honor being related....This is one of my favorite movies...I think I've seen all of his musicals. Loved seeing him and Fred Astaire dance together in Zig Field Follies!

Charlotte Gooch is amazing. Saw her in “Dirty Dancing” in Berlin. She stole the show.
The film of this inspired me to learn how to tap when I was 5! And I have never looked back since! It allowed me to discover my passion for dance and so watching the theatre version would be incredible!
Wish they'd let me start that young. But I did become a professional dancer all the same.

@@jdpatrick1106 her grandma is Debbie Reynolds.... And it's one of Debbie Reynolds most iconic roles at that. So would me a nice homage to her inviting her granddaughter to see the stage version.

Fun fact! The lady who first danced this, didn't even know how to dance when she was hired for the part. She said she practiced so hard and so much, her feet where literally bleeding in her shoes while filming! What dedication and what a fantastic actress!!!!

I remember that story so I knew that was who you were talking about. I first heard that during one of my dancers oral presentation (I teach dance at my HS)...I was fascinated by the fact that she did such a good job and was not a trained dancer. One of my favorite movies.❤

The woman was hilarious pretending that they were just learning this trio number that day. Erm.... not. People get videos and steps and all sorts often months before by choreographers. Looks like a fun show.

Given how little work Gene Kelly’s colleagues the Nicolas brothers got in Hollywood, it would be a fitting tribute to have one of the main three as poc. And the story is something of a fairy tale. Yes, parts of the US banned interracial marriage at the time but it was the Linas of the world who stood for that sort of thing.

The original film was physical and robust and the recent productions I have been to see have been too camp - and this one looks as if it will be the same. Can't get enthusiastic about a tippy tappy show when the original was so dynamic.
