- Hi everybody! Here's my arrengement on the song 'A Lovely Night' from the iconic scene of Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in 'La La Land'. I've incorporated some effects like glissandos and even used the piano as a percussive instrument trying to add some details and 'imitate' the dance in the movie.

He breathes, eats, and sleeps piano
Coming from the classical world where some pieces takes months to learn, 2-3 days for a piece feels like a breeze 😂

i’ve been looking for an arrangement of this song for a long time and i haven’t liked any of them as much as this one thank you
ME TOOO😂 I've been looking for the past 3 years. Every 2 months, I check to see if theirs a good, unique jazzy version, and I could never find one until this masterpiece came up.
I was so doubtful an arrangement this good was gonna happen because the movie was 8 years ago and my favorite la la land arranger "Jacob koller" but he sadly didn't make an arrangement of this piece which left me devesated.
I tried to find another pianist who covered "a lovely night" and "someone in the crowd," but they all sounded the same and nothing special.
This was the first version of this piece that gave me that WOW feeling because I've never seen anything like it
@@f8q167 exactly omg the other arrangements are not bad but they dont capture the song the way the movie does. and i really liked the jacob koller one too! i hoped a lovely night was gonna be in the arrangement but i feel like not as many people do covers of this song

Hi Sophia!! I usually practice just by learning the pieces, but I've studied a lot of techniques playing the Chopin Etudes and experimenting on the piano, that's probably the fastest way to learn them 😊
