Every other religion gets you to try and save yourself, in Christianity, He already did that for you.
That's the difference.
So why aren't we in heaven yet since Jesus supposed to save humanity already? And do you really think that's the real difference? How about how your holy book and scripts are touched by the hands of men and played with. How come you still believe in such a thing?
Ninekills well you can look at the Bible and it says there that Jesus saved us from the punishment of sin. Have us a chance to repent and be a whole new person. No where does it say that your going to his kingdom yet. Except the spiritual kingdom which is right now. And the only ones that are in the spiritual kingdom is the ones that are born again, being baptized.
Ninekills the Bible seems to say the same things for years. And it doesn’t seem that the book was played. Since the Old Testament literally matches the Torah. And all the New Testament books says the same things even after years the Bible has been through.
And if it was changed then it would contradict itself. Making it unable to make sense. Also there’s no proof that’s it’s been played with.
Ninekills Jesus saved humanity but the people that killed him did not believe, others people all over the world has maybe not even heard about Him or even know our God. If someone didn't know God and just appear in heaven won't they be confused so first they have to hear and choose to believe that Jesus' death was to save them. Through this we receive the gift of salvation that Jesus has given all human beings.
And this marks us as God's own and it is when Jesus comes again he will take God's own to heaven.
So everyone has to hear then choose to believe.

He has given you the free will to either get on your knees and say thy will be done or not get on your knees and He’ll say YOUR will be done. @@CodexArchive so? What's problem with a pagan? I think u all have misconception about paganism, they do not worship the statue but connect the God (deity is a correct word) through the statue. And in hinduism the statue has to go through consecration, without consecration its just a normal statue.

Also to say Christianity does not teach about your inner being only shows you are unknowing to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. @@iamevil8582 Even if you don't believe in the Bible, you have to know that it is a historical account from real people in history. It wasn't just a book, it was ancient scrolls and tablets. You read historical accounts all the time and don't compare them to Harry Potter.
The only way to know God is real is to experience him. It's not some book that proves his existence, or some magical vision. It is by seeking out the joy he offers and noticing that feeling that "I am loved deeply by my creator"

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

I myself use to meditate and listen to mantras. I felt a spiritual connection there but it was not the Holy Spirit, it was only until I came to Jesus that I fully realized who God was. There are many spiritual forces in the world, we as Christians believe not all our good or true. We believe there is only one true living God.

What I am going to do today is provide a lesson. Call it a history lesson. Call it a lesson in sins if you truly wish. Unlike many people (of religions and non-religions). The purpose of this is to educate you on the hypocrisy of many.
I could go on for days about certain things that have become hot topics and why the interpretations are wrong on most sides, but here's the gist of why I am writing this lesson. If you claim to live your life according to the Bible - follow all of the rules. Do not pick and choose which ones are no longer valid. You do not have that right. If you refuse to follow all of the laws set forth by your so called human God - you are not a follower of your so called human God. You are actually working for his Adversary.
Here we go,
Holidays You Shouldn't Celebrate
Most of the so-called Christian holidays that are celebrated are pagan in origin. They were Pagan feast days.
Valentine's Day: Originally a pagan Roman holiday honoring Lupercus, The Hunter of Wolves. This feast was changed to St. Valentine's Day in 496, moving the feast day from February 15 to the 14th.
Mother's Day and Father's Day: Ancient Greeks honored the goddess Rhea (wife of Cronus) for three days (some Romans did as well). Christians began to celebrate the Mother Church instead of the goddess, calling the 4th Sunday of Lent 'Mothering Day'.
Easter: Sun worshippers honored the goddess Easter or Ishtar. She is an ancient fertility goddess. Supposedly the worshippers covered eggs in the blood of sacrificed infants - the eggs were to hatch on the 25th of December, which is the birthday of Easter's son Tammuz. (Sound familiar?)
Halloween: Pagans would dress up as spirits and make offerings to evil spirits to appease them. This tradition was used in many places around the world and there are different traditions which eventually culminated in Halloween. While not technically a Christian holiday, it is still celebrated by millions of mainly Christians..
Christmas: This one is known by most Christians. Quite a few refuse to celebrate the day as they know December 25th is an ancient pagan holiday where Tammuz the Sun God was born. Even the Bible refers to this holiday and the tradition of cookies and milk:
The Children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead the dough, to make cakes for the Queen of Heaven (Easter/Ishtar), and to pour out drink offerings to other dieties, that they may provoke Me to anger. (Jeremiah 7:18)
So idol worshipping on these days, you're doing exactly what God said NOT to do.
Stuff You Should Be KILLED For Doing-
I'm not making this up. The following rules are in the Bible and in the same book (Leviticus) where rules about marriage lie. If you are going to follow one - you must follow them all. That includes murdering people that do not follow your religion, attacking cities where the people are not Christian, and killing your wife for divorcing you.

Haircutting and shaving is forbidden. (Leviticus 19:27)
Women or men that cheat on spouses should be put to DEATH, along with their lover. (Leviticus 20:10).
Sex with a woman who has her period has the punishment of the man and woman being cut off from their people (banished or Death) (Leviticus 20:18)
Anyone that practices any type of witchcraft, including psychics, should be KILLED. (Leviticus 20:27)
A pastor's (priest's) daughter who is very sexually active, should be BURNED at the stake. (Leviticus 21:9)
Disabled people, disfigured people, etc, are NOT to go to the Altar of God (Leviticus 21:17-18)
Cursing God or blasphemy is punishable by the whole community STONING the offender. (Leviticus 24:14-16)

There are many more rules such as children cursing their parents - they are to be KILLED. Cattle should not graze with a different type of cattle. No mixed crops in a field (there goes companion planting!), and more.

All of you with questions about God have souls that are desperately trying to find Jesus, but trust me. Jesus will find you. Whether u believe in him now or not, he will reach you in your darkest moment and shed light, he will embrace you and fill you with peace and love, then and only then will you realize he is real. He is there and always has been.
Do not blame him or doubt him, famous lines are why would God allow this? If you’re real god then why is this happening? Why aren’t you listening?
We need to stop only going to God and believing in him when we want something, we need to truly and genuinely love him and put all our trust in him. And we need to genuinely repent, not just apologize. Genuinely cry out to God because we know we did wrong.

You are right, I have sinned. But the difference is instead of committing the same sin, I made an effort to stop the unhealthy cycle and repent whole heartedly.
You can’t blame God for your own actions. Should someone that has always lied, cheated, murdered, etc without any repentance still go to heaven? Why would God allow someone full of sin into such a beautiful and peaceful place like heaven? No. But if that person took action to stop committing sin constantly and repented for all of it, God would let them in. God is a God of justice. There’s a hell for a reason.
He gives many chances for everyone to turn to him and be saved, but many ignore him and continue doing what is wrong.
When is committing sin ever good for us? We choose to do it, simply because we want to. Not because we need to. God did not say, “Oh, hey. Go rob that house.” We, ourselves are entirely responsible for our own actions. You are held accountable in the end, thus judgement day. God gives you free will, he doesn’t control you. You control yourself.
I constantly used the pronoun “we.” Including myself with everyone else. And it was more of expressing my own confusion, I asked many questions. Not exactly judging anyone directly. Why do we? Not why do you. I wasn’t spreading any hate and expressed that people with so many questions and are curious must be searching for God. I even said hell was a far worse punishment that I’d never wish upon anyone. Are you not judging me as well?
I never claimed to be perfect, nor that everyone should be. We can never be perfect, but we definitely can improve ourselves and make an effort to be better. We should try to live like Jesus and resist sin. If we just give in, then what? Do we blame God for making us choose to sin? Everyone can choose what they wanna do. If they wanna steal, kill, lust, etc. All of which are not of God. You’re claiming that we don’t enjoy sin? If we don’t. Then why do we constantly do it, knowing it is wrong? Sin usually appeals to desire. Your own desire to do something. So example, let’s say this woman is a great, sweet woman, does charity work, and so on, but at the end of the day she’s addicted to porn. Would you still say she doesn’t enjoy sin? When she is capable of resisting temptation and putting an end to it? There’s an extent..Yes, We naturally are inclined to sin. But that isn’t an excuse to try not to turn away from it? To resist it.

If God created the universe, heaven and hell, that means God created the rules in this universe including the criteria that our souls will be judged for. And if nothing in this universe that was created by God can't happen without his will, then God is responsible for everything including those he sends to hell.
