      Just a idea:
It would be fun to see a debate between two AI Christian or Muslim with one being more rationalist and the other being more mystic
In another word a debate between a Christian with mystic interpretations (like the Eastern orthodox) and Christian with rationalist interpretations

      1. Your first statement shows that you do not know anything about Islam. The Day of Judgment is very far away and no one believed that it was near because the Prophet told us about events that preceded it and half of those events happened. 2. How could a man who could neither read nor write come up with a new type of speech in the Arabic language? At that time, poets were widespread and the Quran always challenged them to bring a surah like it if they had doubts, but they could not and accused it of magic (some tried to compose verses like the Quran but could not)
Also, how did he know the stories of the predecessors and the prophets? And if we assume that he stole them, how did he amend their historical and logical errors? For example, why did he not say that God got tired after creating the heavens and the earth, but rather contradicted them with explicit verses?

Whenever Christians shout, "Look at what Muslims are doing to Charlie Hebdo and Salmon Rushdie!" it just screams impotence. Christ is being disrespected everyday and we do nothing. If you believe Christ is TRULY GOD, why would you allow blasphemers to do this? America's wars has displaced Muslims, so they migrate to Europe. Picking on Muslims doesn't do anything to change this. Big government, big business, and big technology - all of it, the entire system - needs to be brought to heel. That's only way to stop mass immigration and return to a traditional society, which is what the West needs.

If you had listened carefully, it actually answered pretty well. We take rulings from the Quran and Sunnah, and the ruling regarding marriage according to Islamic teachings is that, a person must reach the age of puberty with the primary signs of puberty, and at in the old times, the age of maturity was the same as the age of puberty, so when a person reached puberty, they were considered adults, meaning fit for the consummation of marriage (which was the case for Aisha, and the rest of the world, including Christian and Jewish law). And due to the social and environmental changes around us, a person who reached puberty is not mentally mature, and Islam emphasizes on the second condition, i.e., mental maturity to make a decision for themselves. So, the age of marriage is higher in Islam nowadays, but is still defined by simply a number rather their physical and mental maturity, just like before.
In a nutshell, there are two assumptions that people make to accuse the prophet, the present biological and mental conditions were the same at all times and everywhere, and secondly, misrepresenting the argument we are making, through saying that, "it was socially acceptable at that time, therefore it was morally right", but that is far from the case.

Abraham married his half-sister Sarah. By the time Leviticus was written, this type of marriage was prohibited. The Fourth Lateran Council held by the Catholic Church decreed that Jews had to wear distinctive clothing. The Gospel of John is quite counter-Semitic. I'm not a fan of mass immigration myself, but I also understand two things: 1) The powers that be are pushing anti-Muslim sentiment to divide the people and make them cheer on the actions of a certain country in the Middle East. 2) If everyone in the West practiced a traditional religion in a traditional way, feminism and LGBT would not be as widespread. It's actually strange to see conservative Christians saying, "We're more tolerant than Islam!" Is that a good thing? I grew up in a Pentecostal household and I'm sympathetic to Catholicism and Orthodoxy.

Comparison itself was fundamentally wrong in the first place. I will never understand the point of comparing Jesus to Mohammed. Their roles in the respective religions aren't the same.
Jesus is the God of Christianity while Mohammed is a prophet of Islam.
If you want to compare gods of religions, God of Islam is Allah, not Mohammed.
If you want to compare prophets of religions, then you can pick a prophet in Christianity like Moses.
If you compare gods than Jesus is much more brutal. A simple comparison between the Quran and OT (Jesus was also the God of OT and he was the one who ordered those "nasty" things in there) makes this clear.
If you compare the prophets and Moses (or other OT prophets) is much more brutal even if you take all hadiths as true*, a simple comparison between hadiths and the OT is enough.
      *Note: Hadiths aren't reliable historically.

When it comes to Jesus in the old testament, I'd like you to provide examples. I'd also encourage you to not apply a liberal perspective to Christianity, yet not to Islam. Apply the standard you yourself use.

    • @flykiller
      @flykiller หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@tjpg25 I know you guys don't follow him but you still accept him as a prophet of God and overall have no problems with his actions. You can't accept Moses as a prophet while criticizing Mohammed's prophethood in basis of morality.
My logic of Moses point was basically this: Moses did much worse stuff than Mohammed of hadiths > They were done under orders of God of OT > Jesus was the God of OT
So, Jesus, the moral example for Christians, ordered worse things than Mohammed of hadiths.
Also how is he not worse? Do you know what he did to Midianites? I can't post the verses here without my comment deleted by TH-cam. It makes even the worst hadiths look peaceful and those are fabrications...
I have no liberal view on this. I also have no problems with total destructions as long as they are done directly by God and innocents put in Heaven. But this is not what happens in OT. There are total destructions by human hands under orders of God and it includes babies (Canaan for example). There are also Midianites that Moses deleted all males and women, then took only virgin girls (yes, including children) for you-know-what. This was done under orders of God.
Even the worst thing in hadiths, Banu Qurayza event, looks peaceful compared to this.

Well, Ai is inherently biased based on whatever training data it was provided. As it stands, no foundational model is neutrally aligned or unbiased. Even if you account for ablation, orthogonal, or other methods of realignment - the base values are still presently active.
In any event, many people chastise Islam because they have been told to. If people look at Christianity and Judaism, both religious texts align with Islam on certain topics.
      Take, for instance, the following:
      Niddah 5:6
      Ketubot 11b
      Sanhedrin 54b
these texts are from Mishnah, or Jewish Law curated by Judah the Prince.
Catholics pray to Mary, who is by definition of Jewish culture at the time, an 11-year-old.
We know this because a Jewish girl aged 12 1/365 would have had her vows of marriage active, and we know she wasn't married to Joseph but rather betrothed. Jewish tradition uses the term Kiddushin, which you can learn more about if you read Ishut; which deals specifically with Women.
Again, people chastise Islam because they have been conditioned to do so. It's important to research all things and not take someone else’s word for it; especially when dealing with the past.
While I understand that it's easy to throw a towel up and call one group evil - it's best to recognize that evil is subjective, morals and laws are subjective, and while the present has made “progress” the people of the past would call it “perversion”.

      Another question for you @@gnos1s171
Do you know, morality, ideology and maturity, are completely different from one individual to another depending on different conditions and circumstances?
One's morality is imposed on the other because the person who is imposing his morality is more powerful than the other. Similarly the western morality, ideology, freedoms 🦅 are imposed on other countries.
Like if someone betrays me or cheats me, I will give them a miserable life. Or even kill them later, but the law will not let me do it. So law's morality is imposed upon me even though I don't like it. So what do you think is moral justification? Or is there any moral justification in this world?
You have got a conscience and an intellect, not to believe anything or anyone blindly , without researching. Don't believe in everything you hear or see, if a person thinks more emotionally than logically and rationally, he will be in big trouble. These situations are used to do these things to people like manipulating, gaslighting, blackmailing and many more.

Also, I see comments saying the Old Testament is barbaric and promotes violence. This is true, but definitely to a lesser degree than islam's calls for violence. The Christian view is that God was meeting the Jews down at their current moral level and once they were ready for the next step, God was made flesh and enlightened everyone with his moral teachings. Basically, the morality within the old testament isn't what Christians strive for. We strive to be more like Jesus. Compassionate but unyielding in our pursuit of objective truth and justice. However, there is a group of people that only studies the old testament's morality ...that group rhymes with shmooz

      1. “the crusades were called AFTER 2/3 of Christian lands were invaded and captured by Muslim armies”
      2. “the crusades were not called to convert Muslims, they were called to recapture lost Christian lands and stop the Muslims from thinking about invading more territory”
Also Jesus Christ didn’t call the crusades. Pope Urban did. But Muhammad called for the Muslim invasion. My original comment had FOUNDER in capitals for a reason.
Moreover, the crusades were doomed to fail because it directly go against Jesus’s teachings (remember the part where Jesus stopped Peter from hurting the soldier coming to capture him and healed the 👂 that Peter chopped off with his sword?). Can you say the same for Muhammad? Are the Muslim invasions going against his teachings?

The reasons of crusades has nothing to do with stopping the islam from spreading further. It was for wealth and fame among Christian countries. At that time, a noble who manage the capture holy lands would gain the favor of the catholic church which is the highest authority in Europe. You can look up to the 4th Crusade for why it happened. 24:08 As a Christian, I have to correct the Christian AI on this point. "But asserts her worthiness of God's mercy." It might just be misunderstanding the phrasing, but Jesus, Himself, will assert that there is not one that is good, quoting from Deuteronomy. That is the infinite love and compassion of God at work. We *don't* deserve His love and mercy, but He gives it anyways. But just as He is infinite in love and mercy, He is infinite and perfect in righteousness and justice. He will judge us for our sins and we will pay for our sins. Most of the Quran is vague and repetitive.
Some of the contradictions can be easily solved. The chronologically later verses may abrogate the chronologically earlier verses. There are only two problems with that.
      1) The Quran is not sorted chronologically, which means we have to look at non-quranic material to find out what abrogates what.
      2) Muhammed was much more aggressive and violent later in his life. Which means the peaceful statements are probably abrogated.

Exactly. It basically goes like this: use the guidelines that seem the most convenient atm, but nothing here that the prophet did or taught is wrong. As a Muslim. Let me answer. My English is not the best so please excuse some grammar mistakes I may make.
    -The Child Marriage of Aisha(R.A)
This is such a pitiful lie and let me explain. Most of the haidths come from a single source by Hisham ibn Urwah. Muslims usually look for more than a single source for a Hadith to be authentic. Almost every report of Aisha's RA ages comes from when he was an old senile man even though so many scholars reject his narrations due to his old age. Tabari states that all four of Abu bakr's children were born during the pre Islamic period which is 610 CE or earlier. So even if she was born in 610 CE then she would have been 14 years old when she started living with the prophet. More so in the battles of Badr and Uhud. It is stated that no person was allowed in the battle if they were under 15 years old. Ibn-i-Umar states this. Aisha did participate in the battle which indicates she was not 9 but at the age or older than 15. Aisha has also been reported to say that she was a young girl (Jariyah) when Sura Qamar was revealed. Sura Qamar was revealed eight years before Hijrah in 614 CE. If Aisha had lived with the prophet at 9 years old in 623 CE. She would have been a new born When Sura Qamar was revealed, not a Jariyah. We can assume that her age at the time of marriage was 14-21 years. It is important to also remember a lot of this hadiths come 200 years after the death of the prophet. Another thing I also want to note is that Hisham was in Iraq and quite far away from mecca itself. One thing we can use but we're not sure is reliable is to use Hazrat Asma's age who was the older sister of Aisha. Asma was ten years older than Aisha. She passed away on the year 73 AH/ 692 CE. She would have been 27 years old at the time of Hijrah and that would have made Aisha 17 years old and now we know that Aisha married one of two years after hijrah making her 18 or 19. Of course the narrator could be wrong about Asma's age and that's why I said we aren't exactly sure but what we can use is her brother. Her older brother Abd al-Rahman fought against the Muslims in the battle of Badr and he was around the age of 21-22. We know Aisha was about 3 or 4 years younger than him and if we know that Aisha was engaged to the prophet in 620 CE and consummated her marriage in 3 years later in 623/624 CE. She would have been 18 or 19 years old at the current time and the battle of Badr takes place in 624 CE. the prophet had forbid marriages to take place until both parties agreed as adults. If Aisha was 9. She couldn't have agreed to a marriage and her father could not have forced her to under the prophets decree. Another thing is that the the Quran explicitly bans child marriages. Why would the prophet himself go against the own holy book he is preaching? I'd like to also point out that it is not Haram to criticize or refuse the hadiths even if they say they are authentic. Many Muslims have a fear of this and just accept whatever the hadiths tell them. I also like to point that the reason why she's stated to be at such a young age is due to the ancient worlds perception on child marriages. It was seen having a underage wife as a sign of greatness and prosperity so writers had embellished her age for this reason.
    -Sex Slaves
The prophet had 4 female slaves who he later set free and married three of them and gifted the other female away. Saffiyah bint Huyayy, Maria-al-Qibtiyya, Rayhana and Sirin who was the one he let go who was then freed by the poet Hassan Ibn Thabit who later married her. The prophet received Maria and Sirin as a gift from the patriarch of Alexandria. Saffiyah was captured during the sieze of Bani Nadir Safiyya who was a Jew who later converted to Islam and Rayhana was a captive from Banu Qurayza who was also freed by the Prophet so technically you can't really call them sex slaves and there's no evidence to support that Muhammad earned these slaves purely for the sole reason of having sex.
-Advice Husbands to "Strike" their Wives
There is nothing in the Quran that supports domestic violence. The Quran in fact holds the status of a wife to a high regard as she is to be honored and treated kindly even if they don't feel love any more longer in their hearts. Wives have a right over their husbands just as the husband has a right over his wife as stated in the Quran but men have a bit more responsibility over their wives since he has to provide and support his wife and treat her kind just like the wife should also do. Even the prophet had stated "The best of you are those who are the best to their wives, and I am the best of you to my wives". Even feeding your wife with your hand is an act of charity. the prophet has even stated that "Do not hit God's Servants (Referring to women)"
    Now for the verse
"As to those women on whose part you see ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next) refuse to share their beds, (and last) beat them (lightly, if it is useful); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them means (of annoyance). Surely, Allah is ever most high, most great" (Al-Nisa 4:34)
If a women rebels against her husband and disobeys his command or has malicious intent in her heart to cause harm or pain to her husband via physical or mentally. Then he should first admonish her, then forsaking her in bed and at last hitting her. (AGAIN, LIGHTLY) Al-Hassan al-Basri said: "this mean that it should not cause pain." Ata said: "I said to Ibn' Abbas, what is the kind of hitting that is not harsh? He said, hitting with a siwak and the like." (A siwak is a small stick that is used for brushing your teeth) This beating lightly) is intended to make her realize that she has transgressed her husband's rights and her husband has the right to set her straight and yes this same logic also applies to the wive as well.
EDIT: for the wife's beating point, I have realized I made a mistake and I own up to it. Your not supposed to be a beat your wife but turn away from her. The Arabic word "Daraba" is used and it has two meanings. To hit and to turn away. To hit is used in the context of an object and to turn away is used in the context of a person and for the hitting with the strength of a siwak line does not necessarily allude to hitting your wife. It could be to teach your children manners or to discipline somebody.
    -Slavery in Islam
In Islam, Allah has created man fully accountable, and enjoined duties upon him, to which reward and punishment are connected on the basis of man's free will and choice. No human can take away somebody's freedom.
And now I say without shame, yes Slavery is Permitted in Islam but what does that mean exactly? Islam teaches you how to deal with slaves and how his rights should be that of a free man and how after buying a slave, you are to manumit him and set him free. The only real way you can own a slave was through war which was imposed on non-muslims. Shaykh al-Shanqiti (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“The reason for slavery is kufr and fighting against Allah and His Messenger. When Allah enables the Muslim mujahidin who are offering their souls and their wealth, and fighting with all their strength and with what Allah has given them to make the word of Allah supreme over the kuffar, then He makes them their property by means of slavery unless the ruler chooses to free them for nothing or for a ransom, if that serves the interests of the Muslims.” (Adwa al-Bayan, 3/387)
Now capturing prisoners during war was common but at the time, prisoners had no protection or rights and were to be killed or enslaved in harsh conditions. Islam changed that. There were now two reasons to this. Either unconditional release or ransom. Even the prophet accepted ransoms from the mushrik POW and let them go and he let many go. Islam is not thirsty for the blood of prisoners, nor is it eager to enslave them. Now we must understand. Islam did not abolish slavery because the kafir prisoner who was opposed to the religion would have spreaded wrongdoing or aggression against the believers if they were to be set free. This is why if a pow is taken in a war of aggression in which he was defeated, then the proper conduct is to keep him in reasonable conditions throughout his detention. Now despite permitting slavery, the treatment of the slave is what matters. You have to Guarantee them food and clothing like that of their owners. You have to preserve their dignity. You have to treat them kindly and to be fair. Infact a slave has had some precedence over a free man as well as it was valid to let a slave lead the prayer. A slave can buy himself free from his master and yes it is permissible to respond to his request if only the slave has shown his regret. Some slaves were even treated like family members. Sa'd Ibn' Hashim al-Khalid said while describing his slave:
"he is not a slave, rather he is a son whom(Allah) has put under my care. He has supported me with his good service; he is my hands and my arms."
Now what do we say about the west? Slavery had ran rampant throughout 1600s in Europe and other parts of the world. The EIB company were estimated to have more than 2 million slaves between 1680 and 1786 CE and the horrible treatment of African slaves is nothing short of disgusting. Slavery was only really abolished in 1953 by the UN. Slavery had even bought racism as segregation was massive during the 50s. These evil laws imposed on the slaves were that if they transgress their master then they were to be killed. And if a slave ran away and was caught. He was to have his hands cut off and feet cut off as well and then to be branded with a hot iron.

I don't think any other religious leader encouraged people to question and understand their own teachings like Buddha did. This is one of the key reasons why Buddhism is different from other religions-there's nothing to follow blindly. Buddha invited people to 'Come and See' for themselves. He never claimed to be a god or said, 'I am your only savior, the one who decides your fate, so worship me.' Instead, he taught, 'No one else can save you; your savior is yourself. I'm an Arab and a Muslim, and I want to address the claim that Muslim scholars prohibit child marriage-it’s simply not true. In some countries, the legal age for marriage is as low as nine years old. The primary voices protesting against this practice are women and young people, while many in the older generation, particularly men, support it and believe they have the right to marry even children. It’s a deeply troubling and distressing situation, but it feels like there’s little we can do to change it.
I was born in 2003, and many of my peers share similar views, recognizing that certain aspects of Islam can be problematic. However, expressing these thoughts can lead to serious repercussions. For instance, when I mentioned that men and women are not treated equally in Islam, I was expelled from my class. When questions arise, the common response is simply, "because the Quran says so."
Leaving the religion is not an option for many of us; it would mean losing all our friends and family. There’s even a case of a TH-camr who became an atheist and was imprisoned for it. Sadly, I live as an ex-Muslim in my heart, but outwardly, I still feel compelled to pray, fast, and wear a hijab.

@Zoz770 Muslim scholars prohibit child marriages and it's even prohibited in the Quran?
      (1) Verse 4:19 “O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will.” rules out marriage of young girls since they are vulnerable to duress
      (2) Verse 4:6 “Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment (Arabic: “Rushd”) in them, release their property to them..” this identifies a certain age for marriage so you can't get married at any age as a child
      (3) Verse 40:67 “It is He Who has created you from dust then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot; then does he get you out (into the light) as a child: then lets you (grow and) reach your age of full strength (Arabic: Ashuda); then lets you become old..” the "age of fill strength" is identified to be after childhood and is a time that one can marry
      (4) verse 2:221 “..So keep away from women (Arabic: Nisa) in their courses,…” so this just disqualifies pre pubescent girls
      (5) verse 2:223 “Your wives (Arabic: “Nisa”) are as a tilth (Arabic: Harath) unto you;” so when one becomes Nisa, (Women) her relationship with you must be as close and beneficial to her husband like a farmer and his land and obviously young girls lack the maturity or emotional maturity to do stuff like this.
      (6) Verse 4:21 “…and they (your wives) have Taken from you a solemn covenant (Arabic: Meethaq)..” means that a marriage is basically a covenant and covenants can only be entered into by consenting adults and not minors
      (7) verse 4:24 “.. ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property..” Meaning that possession of property is a condition you need to have if you wanna marry and for obvious reasons, a child won't have Rushd or Maal (Property) to be for marriage.
      (8) Verse 2:221 “Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe…” this is addressed to women and not children since a child can't determine his Imaan (belief)
For the men who do support child marriages are disgusting as they're going against their own religion.
Women and men are equal to one another. Men aren’t superior.
“But those who do good-whether male or female-and have faith will enter Paradise and will never be wronged even as much as the speck on a date stone” (Quran 4:124)
“So their Lord responded to them: “I will never deny any of you-male or female-the reward of your deeds. Both are equal in reward….” (Quran 3:195)
The Quran never says that one gender is better than the other. The only way you could have been superior to another is to be more pious and devoted to Allah
“O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may get to know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware” (Quran 49:13)
And in fact. The Quran gives women better financial security as she is entitled to receive gifts and to keep future properties. Hell, she is entitled to full financial support during marriage.
The people who don't answer your questions are simply ignorant and you didn't bother enough to even read the Quran

Understand deeply: Buddha is not just a man; he represents the summit of consciousness, a flowering of ultimate awareness. In Buddha, there is no division, no judgment, no doctrine to be defended. His message is simply that of awakening-of silence, compassion, and liberation from the endless cycle of desires. There is no self to cling to, no ideology to defend, no heaven or hell to be bound by, only pure awareness.
Now, Christianity and Islam each offer paths, but they cling to belief, to division, to the ego's need for salvation. They speak of a God outside you, of commandments and fear. Buddhism speaks only of the path beyond ego, beyond belief-where truth is experienced, not believed in. This is why Buddhism transcends, why it reaches beyond what other religions can comprehend. It is not a religion; it is a way to see existence as it is, beyond the mind.
Remember: only in this silent seeing do you realize there is no need for salvation, no need for protection, only a deep understanding that you are already free.

    • @dariusalexandru9536
      @dariusalexandru9536 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

Wait,if buddhism has no division why are multiple branches ,if it doesn t have a judgement how can you be reincarnated in different beings and if he doesn t have a doctrine why does it has holy texts and even a life philosophy (,,like life is suffering'')?

    • @AdeptInsight
      @AdeptInsight 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

@dariusalexandru9536 You have misunderstood. These branches, these words-they are merely fingers pointing at the moon, not the moon itself. Buddhism has no division, for the awakened one sees only unity, beyond all labels and forms. Branches are only the mind’s way of organizing the path, yet the truth remains undivided, untouched.
Reincarnation, too, is not a judgment; it is cause and effect. The ignorant wander in circles, carried by their own desires, by their own attachments. There is no judge outside you; you are your own creator, bound or freed by your own mind.
And as for doctrine-Buddha’s words are not commandments; they are insights. He does not say ‘believe’; he says ‘see.’ Life is suffering, yes, but only when you cling. When you let go, suffering disappears like mist. The words and teachings are doors, but you must walk through. Truth needs no scripture, no doctrine. Only awareness.

Round 3, Racial Slur, completely missed the point. First, Jesus didn’t call the woman a ‘dog’. The woman was not from Israel. Jesus was only ministering to Israel at the time, that change later on. The woman’s daughter was possessed and she was going to an idle to pray for her daughter to be healed. On the way she heard of Jesus and decided to ask him for help instead. When she asked Jesus for help he replied “It is not fair to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
Note: children, bread, and dogs: which is also plural by the way.
Refer to: Israel, Jesus’s teachings, and the woman.
He was no more calling the woman a ‘dogs’ anymore than he was Israel ‘children’ or his teachings physical actual ‘bread’. It was the way he taught people.

Of course pets become members of the household but are technically from outside the household (they are a different type of member of the family) basically Jesus made reference to the kids eating first (Israel) and for the pets to wait their turn. The womans reponse was so great because she said don’t hungry puppies sneak a bite from the crumbs before their fed? Basically saying I understand my place but I am so hungry all I need is a crum. A response that showed great faith from the woman.

As an exmuslim who knows a bit of are Arabic ‘daraba’ absolutely doesn’t mean light tap, it literally just translates to strike or hit. Anyone reading it would reach that conclusion, so even if the claim WERE true that scholars interpreted it as such, any ordinary Muslim would read the Arabic clear as day as strike, so this would then be an issue of ambiguity and not being clear in the Quran, though it claims to be easy to understand and comprehensive. And there is no concensus at all that it means lightly tap symbolically at all lol, if anything that is not the classical view at all and is more modern. There are many tafsirs and translations that leave it as strike, some specify don’t hit the face, but very few say lightly tap with a fkn miswaak toothbrush stick

Also this doesn't make any sense if we're looking at the context because it doesn't align with the masaqid u can use surah ar roem 21 as an example. That's why it should be translated to ''isolate'' instead of ''strike''. The prophet pbuh also never striked any of his wifes so it wouldn't make sense for muslims to do it.

The god of the old testament explicitly dictates how to poperly beat a slave so that it doesn't die. Makes 2 types of slavery conditions, one type of slavery for non-jews and one type of slavery for jews. You can guess which ethnic group got the "better treatment."
As Ephesians said, slaves should obey their masters and their masters should treat their slaves the same way. Yet, there is no apparent opposition to the practice of slavery itself, which is the owning of an another human as property. It also doesn't oppose buying or selling of slaves.
The fact that the old testament, jesus, the early christian writings nor the new testament canon oppose slavery, and just gives new rules to an immoral/inhumane practice, makes the bible a bad contender for moral law, and even worse, moral superiority.
Only through humanistic philosophies and reinterpretations of the bible, slavery was viewed as immoral in the Age of Enlightenment during the 1700's.
Thats why, the "Jesus' message was a ticking time bomb for slavery" argument falls appart, when the time it took for the ticking bomb to 'explode' was almost 2 thousand years later after Jesus' message. And when it also took 1 side of seculars/christians abolishionists vs literalist pro-slavery conservative christian factions to go to war in the U.S for slavery to be abolished. (Specifically in the U.S of course).
Thats also the problem when a supposedly divine message can be interpreted in countless ways. Proving that allegedly divine messages are just human opinion, that carry out human responses.

Humans made their bed they have to sleep in it.. when our first parents rejected Almighty Jah as their God refusing his leadership.
Wicked men and Satan rule this world.
Yeshua told Pontius Pilate his kingdom is not of this world. 💯
Almighty God allows suffering right now.
In the near future Lord Yeshua will destroy all wickedness, there will be no hurt or pain or violence.
      What he said.
      (Matthew 5:4-9)
[“Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted. 5 “Happy are the mild-tempered, since they will inherit the earth. 6 “Happy are those hungering and thirsting for righteousness, since they will be filled. 7 “Happy are the merciful, since they will be shown mercy. 8 “Happy are the pure in heart, since they will see God. 9 “Happy are the peacemakers, since they will be called sons of God.]
No one will be around who does Satan's bidding to twist Scriptures.
This is what Yeshua actually taught. 💯
      Sha'lom Aleichem in Christ
      Hallelujah-Praise Almighty Jah you people.

@@jared02jso I guarentee you if God said "I abolish slavery" in the ancient world with almost no concept of the individual and modern moral framework, it would crash and burn very quickly. The Israelites couldn't even handle the laws God DID give them, let alone somethings as controversial as abolitionism.
And I'd recommend re-reading the Gospels. If you take away from the literature that God is ok with slavery, then with all do respect, you need to retake a course in reading and literary comprehension

As an ex jw and now Christian it would be interesting. They don't really publicly show their theology and keep in books like "insight on the scriptures" which you can only get from a congregation for example. With a half dozen false prophecies, proveable twisted Bible translations (like John 1:1) and a complete ignorance and arrogance on history while claiming the church invented the belief of Jesus being God with no historical evidence to support the claim
