Interestingly enough the people who wandered in the wilderness didn't actually enter into the promised Land. The fourty years (rather the number fourty) is also interesting in connection to Yeshua fasting fourty days in the wilderness..

After 2000 years scholars studying the Gospels written by anonymous persons, Lipnick came with this wonderful idea on his mind to confuse more and more the mystery of thousands of interpretations thru the years. Israel Filkenstein digging discovered that the period 1000 to 1500 BCE there were no civilization in the region only before and after, so Moses, David and Solomon are fictiicious according to architecture. Another thing this promised land used to be a province of the Egyptian Empire, so there were no promised land. Forgive me but we have to look the facts and leave religion on the side.

The reason it was so long was because of their faith. Read Exodus an Numbers. The Book of Exodus is just how it sounds it was the Israelites exiting Egypt. Numbers is also referred to the book of murmurings that will inform you on why the Israelites roamed for 40 years. You should also check out Gods covenant with David.

The Bible teaches that they had the chance to enter after two years but they feared the giants more than they trusted the LORD. God had them wander in the desert until they all died and a new generation led by Joshua crossed the Jordan and took the land. Read Deut. 2:14-15

Exodus 4:22 says "Israel is my firstborn son, and was probably born in Egypt". The passover can be viewed as a birthing, where early in the morning, the Israelites exit their houses (womb) through bloody doorways (birthing canal). So if Israel was born in Egypt, then the time in the wilderness can be viewed as a Father raising his son into maturity. The Israelites in the wilderness cried for food and water like an infant does. The Father provided. When they were of age, they inherited the land that the Father had put aside for their future.

Bible verse John 10: 11-18 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Science, archaeology, geology, all disagree with the claims made by church historians.

    • @kevwhufc8640
      @kevwhufc8640 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@jeffersonbarnes3663 things like, Soddom gomorrah, ruined by the church, so much so that nobody believed anything that was told about it, but it was destroyed by fire and rocks ( heavy boulders) but atheists don't believe that even though a proper archaeology team excavated parts of it,
Not a biased church archaeology team, but proper unbiased archaeologists who are only interested in the factual evidence, data , I've had arguments with atheists explaining S/G were destroyed by fire and rocks , they don't want to hear it or believe it.
It was destroyed but by their enemy, not God, the attack came from the land , ancient versions of medieval trebuchet lobbed boulders and fire at the walls and inside the walls.
No plates shifted causing fire or molten rocks from beneath the ground, nothing from heaven, just an army attacking & destroying killing everyone.
A flood did happen around 7000 BC , but because it's too long ago, YEC don't accept that, because it predates the beginning of the earth, they believe its only 6000 years old, so anything before 4000 BC didn't happen.. 🙈
If they were more open minded ( because nowhere in the bible does it say how long ago God created the world)
If YEC extended the dates to 10.000 BC , they could use the flood that created the English channel, and flooded most of Europe and rose sea levels everywhere in this part of the world
Then Christians would have something nobody could argue against.
I'm not saying everyone would believe it, but at least it would add credibility to the Noah story.
Because 4000 BC or a 8000 BC means it happened in Stoneage times.
No bronze available yet, and a long time before iron was discovered.
But stone age man created things like Stonehenge, the original phases, the bronze age did continue adding to the religious centre of people from Britain and Europe.
Stone age man had boats, dug out tree trunks, or wooden framed skin covered lil boats.
Flint axes were capable of cutting down trees, if one broke it wouldn't take long to make another, they had knives, axes including tiny lil tools for cutting animals up or taking the skin off, they continued using stone tools well into the bronze age because it was very useful and easy to find and create whatever tools needed.
Bronze was expensive, like any new tech , eventually prices drop .
Iron was so expensive even the wealthy couldn't afford more than useful things like swords or daggers, practical for many reasons.
It didn't become widely available or affordable until Victorian times.

The forty years, in the desert, is the forty days of Lent which leads us up to the passover of the sun from winter (Egypt) to spring - summer aka the Promised land of milk and honey. It is at the spring equinox that Japheth covers earth with a blanket of green grass. Shem's blanket of white snow may be pretty but the cows, sheep, and goats prefer Japheth's blanket. The bees love the clover and spring flowers.

O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers."
They said, "O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."
Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor, "Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers."
They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here.
Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother, so part us from the defiantly disobedient people."

That wasn't it. The reason they were made to spend an extra 40 years in the wilderness before they were allowed to enter their Promised Land is because God wanted the older generations to die off first due to the fact that they were a bad influence on the younger generation.
Moses was 40 when he initially left Egypt. The Most High simply wanted those that were going to enter into The Promised Land to have the best start possible as far as them doing what was to be expected of them. The older generations were too "stuck in their ways".
Nonetheless, 40 years still wasn't enough to teach them a good enough lesson as The Most High even told Moses just before he died that The Israelites were going to turn away from Him (God) and start worshipping other gods etc.

A land that they never saw or stepped in or possessed was their land? They lived in Egypt for centuries! Arabs are the true owners of these lands as they were lived their for ever.

Yes this guy misses out a massive reason why Israel were made to wait. It's because they disobeyed God in their unbelief that it was safe to go in and take the land for as their own. They didn't need to wait all that time if they just trusted that God knew what he was doing.

No the reality is there was no exodus. It's a made up story with absolutely no historical or archaeological evidence.

Other Races of Africans was enslaved by the Egyptians Race along with God's Chosen Race . Others went with Israelites into the Wilderness in Africa from under bondage , imagine all those people coming out in a haste. And All gathered in the wildness , Families ect ...Egyptians too..so they all in this wilderness of other ethnicities ( wowww) Now God , has to separate His Chosen . Moses is given as a Leader , to All these other Tribes , some agreed , others didn't ( kaos) So , God had to separate them soon , but yet HE provides for Them All , til then. 40 years was to settle the best needs for All 2 millions of so , Jacob Children couldnt have been that many considering the time , they lived in goshen...til another King arose, that remembers Abraham incident with his wife, being his (sister) Egyptians are kinda a up standing Tribe with resources then. ...So with all 5he Famines ect , would have scared, alot of people Tribes, around about area, All Trying to get away . GOD , being the Problem solving guru He is , He brought Them All inside a Bowl like canyon to separate and see the Hearts of His Chosen...Master Plan . So , HE taught the Children How to serve Him, and give Only the Children of Israel , Hope , and Encouragement by Commanding Only the Children of Israelites to wear Fringes or Tassels. To encourage Them to Remember that They have someOne Mighty , on thier side Who will be there. Thru the Tassels or Fringes , was for them Only .40 years ? Why not ? He had to separate Jacob Children and Watch to see who Loves Him the Most , before HE , show Them , why it took so long . the reason why God didnt want other Tribes around was because Israel needed a Place flowing with milk( cows ) and Honey ( bees) ...just like HE told them . ....my take on this 40 yr in wilderness

So was the prophet really raped by his own daughters ??
The Quran does not mention such ill things.
The Quran actually upholds all the prophets in highest honor and light.
Most mentioned prophets are sent to children of Israel.
So a copy of your books, cleans your books ?
    How does that work ??????????
I’m trying to locate where the star is mentioned as a symbol used by David ( Star of David ) can anyone help me with biblical references of this Star and David (as) using it.
Plus isn’t the Menorah the Jewish symbol ?

    Why 40 years wandering ??
Alexander took under a week to get from Alexandra to Jerusalem, after some bad news ..
God made them wander around in circles for 40 years to learn what !!?
Your interpretation, why do Christians always say , the words don't actually mean what they say it's an error of interpretation.
So what else is wrongly interpreted ? The whole book probably
Thsts why I believe God created everything
But as for jesus and the bible, its nonsense, a few places that existed are mentioned but ghsts the least you'd expect, but it doesn't prove anything especially when people like yourself claim its wrongly interpreted... hmm , always a convenient way to get out of explaining things that don't make sense.

Oh my gosh. Pick a word, spin it out, intertwine it into a biblical story and you can say whatever you want. Give me a break. For goodness sake: there were “about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children” (Exodus 12:37). This would give you a few millions when you include women, children etc. How can't intelligent people swallow this? Let's say that they walked ten abreast with 2 million-plus people. That is 200,000 people long, a short two metres between them, that's 400,000 metres, 400km long. Haw Haw Haw Haw. Plenty of food in this part of the world I'm sure.

Lipnick fantasized the whole thing. The training period in the desert (40 years?) was time to retrain the unskilled Hebrews into a destructive fighting force that would be directed at the innocent inhabitant of Jericho, a city that had refused Yahweh's previous advances, and turned him down as a god-king. Yahweh went nuts. In a fit of criminally insane rage, Yahweh order the Hebrews to destroy it, but the Hebrews already had higher spiritual, moral, and ethical values than the low life entity Yahweh. When they refused to do his genocidal dirty work, Yahweh brought in super weapons which he used to mercilessly destroy all the innocent women and children of Jericho with his own hateful hands. Hebrews knew better than their sick warrior god Yahweh.
