big thanks for the Rockstar Games that finally release Red Dead Redemption for PC after 14 years. i can finally play now on my GTX 750Ti GPU and Ryzen 5 4600G CPU. thank you for testing this Kryzzp!!
I tried this on my Low end laptop AMD Ryzen 3 3250U with Vega 3 integrated graphics and it runs on par with the Ps3 and Xbox 360 performance 720p low settings.
Ye true im still rocking mine 650 but OC which surpasses 1050 ti OC and running this game 1080p max... Have to give some props to Rockstar from porting this game from my PS3/X360... Good times to be gaming fellas 😅.
I get that it's a major d**k move to charge 50 euros for a 14 year old PS3 port, but man it's just nice that there is a great game coming to PC for the first time and you don't need NASA specs to have a great time playing it.
@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 so this doesn't apply to you then. I was talking more about gamers who strictly play on PC. Not to mention there are entire regions of the world where PlayStation consoles were extremely uncommon back then.
Considering this game ran at 720p + 30 FPS (max, often with drops) on the Xbox 360 and PS3... pretty much anything not *too* old should be able to run it just fine. Previously the only way to play it on PC was via emulation but emulation overhead + bugs meant you needed a fairly high-end system for it to work well, so (finally!) a native port is nice but I probably won't be getting it until it goes on sale.
I got a GTX 1660 Super and I think this card doesn't get much love from tech reviewers and is so underrated. I kinda wish to see some 1660S included in your videos in the future 🙃
My experience with RDR 1 port and RX 6600. Motion Blur set on Improved costs me ~8 FPS at 4k Max settings (with FXAA OFF). Shadow Quality - from Ultra to High I gained 10 FPS. From High to Medium, I gained another 3 FPS. If we set Shadow Quality on Low it is like using Medium Quality with Shadow Softness on Low. Shadow Softness - From Low to Medium I lost 5 FPS‚ from Medium to High I lost another 3 - 4 FPS‚ and from High to CHSS I lost around 4 - 5 FPS Shadow Blend - Off = Dithered (performs the same) while set on Smooth costs an extra 5 - 7 FPS at 4k Max settings (Shadow Softness on CHSS) Also‚ FSR3 - Native AA costs me around 40 - 45 FPS at 4k Max settings.
I really enjoy your videos, keep up the great work! :) BTW, maybe there will be a mod to bypass the "2GB VRAM requirement", similiar to GOW: Ragnarök at launch, it would be interesting to see this game benchmarked on old 1GB GPUs :)
How much money have you spent on all these gpus? Great video once again. 😎 FPS fine because Bob isn’t here. Also if this game can run on Nintendo Switch then it can run on any GPU 😂
Guess its time to tell little Kryspo about bees and flower. You see my lad when aunties are screaming in a brothel it is because theres these men with them in the rooms, and they are like ...
Great work as always! Thanks for including Ti, Super and 16xx into this benchmark too! Btw, would you get the RTX 3050 6GB one day? I think it is the best pcie slot powered GPU in the market rn
My 1660 Super is definitely being held back by my r3 3100. It’s performing close to the gtx 950 results here. Utilization for both the cpu and gpu are always fluctuating above 60% and lower than 80%.
Given that you are benchmarking the game on really old GPUs, I hope we can get a benchmark on a pc that would have been around in like 2011 or 2010 to see how the game would run on a PC that would have been aroud when the game originally launched. That would be a fun experiment
Hey Kryzzp! Perhaps it would be a cool addition to add the MSRP of each of the older GPUs you present on your videos, and maybe even an inflation adjusted value for today's prices to better understand what each of these was capable for the money back then.
using my first graphics card is pure home building my first pc and now i have a rtx 4060 i58500 its a beat you need to benchmark slender the arrival on the channel its fun game also
14 years :D I play on PS3 2012 its just masterpiece. Whis is not remaster, its just 2010 game. Old PS3 much better looks and feels. This is why pc fanatics are out there for 14 years, practically the frame changes are not cinematic and that the 2010 graphics are not new polygons but old graphics pixels :D:D 50$ good feel :Dd
I still think that rockstar could have improved a little bit, really.. Like improve the textures, add a little nicer lighting, a little ambient occlusion and just make it a little nicer, I don't need a rdr2 level game or something. But yeah.. it is what it is :D
17:08 im having an amd ryzen 74800h cpu and a rtx 3050 4gb laptop. Im currently in Amadilo town. When I am roaming around the town, my gpu usage is around 50%, and my cpu is around 25 to 30%. The low gpu usage causes me to get around 40 to 50 fps. But it's not supposed to be like this. I should be getting the same fps you're getting with the 1650 60+fps all of the time. My cpu isn't a bottleneck, in my case this game needs to be patched because this never happened to me in other newer games. Even using dlss or fsr doesn’t improve my fps. It just remains the same. Weirdly enough, when looking at the ground, my gpu usage goes up to 99%. Hence, I get 100+ fps while my cpu usage remains constant at 25 to 30%.
Cpu bottleneck is happening for me when using 5600 with 6700xt. Some areas I can get 144fps without any problem but in that village my fps dropping to 90-95. That's why I was asking using 3600x with better gpu
Its not that RDR is old, its called optimisation. Thats what you get when you give a shit about your titles. Something "other artists" could learn from. PS thank you for not putting the garbage that is Dragon Age in a video. I appreciate it.
Too bad the basis of this port is the modern version ported to the PS4 and Switch, hence the DX12 requirement. Really would've been fun to see some old DX10 cards running a game that should've been available to them oh so long ago. Nice to at least see it running on old CPUs per other channels.
big thanks for the Rockstar Games that finally release Red Dead Redemption for PC after 14 years.
i can finally play now on my GTX 750Ti GPU and Ryzen 5 4600G CPU.

Pretty sure you can get a 1070 at least for like $50-70 unless you’re in Brazil …
no graphics improvment same price no bug fixes it was a cash grap
I wish they ported the GTA 4 port as good as this.
I wish too there's so much stuttering whenever I play it back when I was using gtx 750 ti
There's a vulkan api mod for gta 4 it improves the game performance significantly
i never had an issue with it on my 1050ti in 2016, but that was 8 years after LOL
Using DXVK drastically improves performance and works fantastic!
no problem with vulcan - I play 4K (rtx 2060) with no stutters th-cam.com/video/ciufarGxZv8/w-d-xo.html
I bet that motherboard of yours took more GPUs than the women in Armadillo SALOON

The one in that mission in valentine on rdr2 that Arthur talks to😂
It's an older game sure, but not all older games get optimization this good, and in DX12 on even older cards it works great!
I tried this on my Low end laptop AMD Ryzen 3 3250U with Vega 3 integrated graphics and it runs on par with the Ps3 and Xbox 360 performance 720p low settings.
I can get this running on my rog ally with Ryzen z1 extreme at native 1080p 60fps by enabling fsr quality and dropping a few settings to high.
@ramborambokitchenkitchen6357 nice
The thumbnail on these 3 rdr videos 👌
I can't help but click.
finally my GPU
the 750 ti
thx bro for testing
Thank you for testing the Gtx 1650 super.....really appreciated it..❤
So it's not a remake, just a port? And they want $50 for it? HA!
you can always get your pirate hat out to get it free 🦜 🪝
