No it's not about the cross thing, but the message of it that you should not lose faith in God and how hard life get you should take it. i can't explain it properly because i'm not that good in english. sorry.

Repentance from sin asking God's forgiveness and trusting and accepting Jesus as Lord & savior of your means salvation! - Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5..We don't strive nor work to get salvation...Salvation is not about bearing the cross of Christ...to those who will place their trust & Faith in Jesus Christ, He already took our sin and nailed on the cross..Salvation is is a finished work of Christ! It's a gift!
We aren't saved by obedience, but those who accept Jesus and then purposely reshape Jesus' words to suit their sins have not completely accepted Jesus. I can't say whether a person is saved or not, I can say that continually ignoring him puts us at great risk of death. Jesus is good though, and never gives up, but we do hinder his work when we ignore him. If you accept Jesus then you should accept that all of his words are true, good and applicable to our lives. Sometimes we may struggle with what he says, but we certainly shouldn't try to change the meaning of his commands. Life with Jesus is a lifelong process of sanctification and learning. We were commanded to be perfect, even as our father in heaven is perfect. We can't make room for our sins but shrinking Jesus in our lives. It's true that we did nothing to earn the opportunity to be his disciple. However we can't live sinfully and be his disciple; we cannot have 2 masters. You may have accepted the promise of heaven, but not accepted everything that comes with it. Yes God will forgive anything and everything, provided you confess your sins and repent. God cannot forgive what we refuse to acknowledge. If you don't acknowledge a sin, you won't ask for forgiveness, denying Jesus the chance to forgive you. The point I want to make is that purposely reshaping Christ to suit our sins, is itself sinful. The animation depicts a Christian who chose not to follow some of Jesus' teachings because they were too much of a burden. He instead chose to change Jesus to suit him. He found out that Jesus' teachings were there for his benefit; he just didn't know it at first. In reality, it might not end there, the video was just making a point about the necessity to bear the whole cross. If a real situation, he could've repented and still have made it across. Jesus may tell him he needs to rebuild the cross and accept the full weight of it. If the Christian refuses, he will not progress. If he repents and obeys, he can continue his walk with Christ. As long as you're alive, there's time to grow in relationship with Christ. If you feel in your heart you may be one such christian you don't have to change your ways in the snap of a finger, but you should at least desire to rid yourself of all sin. I am certain God will never ignore a prayer that says 'Jesus, please reveal my sin so that I can repent and change, then please help me to change'. Jesus will walk hand in hand to guide you out of it, but you've got to want it. It might take a long time or not, but you've at very least got to want to be changed. That seed of faith is all God needs to work with. But you're only hurting yourself by changing Jesus' words in favor of an easier life.
He has a plan/destiny for everyone, whether they believe it or not, whether they take it or not take it. Because the devil has a plan for everyone too. Will you choose God's plan and receive Jesus, or take a life of pain and suffering and struggle? Because the enemy only wants to kill, steal and destroy everyones lives. No matter how hard the things that happen in peoples lives, Jesus is always there and He WILL take it away if you ask Him to take it and give all the pain and suffering to Him!
You know what happens to people who carry crucifixes? Those guys are on their way to a pretty brutal death. Except the guy who cut his down to size; he dodged a bullet there!
