I shared this with a good friend of mine, who is not a musician, but loves the song. When I pointed out how you could hear the original guitar notes, the vocals, separately, and then, you could hear the transitions from acoustic guitar, "clean" electric guitar, and the overdriven guitar for the "hard" section, she picked up on it. She even noticed when you threw in the light distortion for the "hard" section. I loved the use of reverb on this. ... And, of course, as always, I think your arranging and playing is just brilliant.
Now at 78 I no longer play as my hands are no longer supple enough to continue picking ( left hand mainly ) but your playing is so nice to listen to, it must be more difficult to pick on a twelve string but you make it sing so sweetly.
