This is exactly the sort of thing I wish I knew how to do. I like tinkering with programming and Arduino but I don't yet have the know-how to just throw out a concept demo that actually works like this. Amazing!
I'm not usually one for *a e s t h e t i c* but the cinematography in Bandwidth's _Journey to the Center of the Corner_ speaks volumes about the direction the channel will be going in the future. When you put it together with the programming work he's demonstrated so far, this is what you get: That Bandwidth is not a TH-camr that happens to program or a programmer that happens to upload to TH-cam, but rather a young man who is simultaneously a TH-camr and a programmer, who has the potential to balance the two. With enough work, people might one day say, "Bandwidth? I know that guy. He's like Programmer MrBeast or Programmer Ludwig, right?"
I think to finish a project is just time consuming, but to create or find out something new is way more satisfying. Looking forward to the next video! EDIT: please code Sega Saturn
I've just come back to your channel after a good while and have noticed the quality of your videos skyrocketing. It looks really good mate. Keep it up!
You're doing a great job. I love when you code for retro consoles and computers. Keep it coming! Your channel is one of my favorites if not the favorite!
@@Joso997 not disagreeing with you, but can you imagine how cool it would have been bringing your c64 to a friend's house to LAN with your friend with a PS1? It would have been this crazy weird 90s LAN party concept and would've probably changed the course of history
Awesome project, but I think it would be really interesting to learn how you got the serial connection to work, and what’s the protocol you used, and what the main loop of your game looks like. Unless you’re only sharing that data with your patrons 🤔
Pretty sure the 6502 running in the commander x16 run at 4 MHz even higher than you said. Probably because it's a new 8 bit computer with newly produces 6502 on new silicon.
I halfway thought you were gonna do an asymmetrical game where you put in commands on the C64 and stuff would happen on the Playstation. Still cool, though.
Jesus christ man.. I love your work but you should finish one project a time instead of leaving unifinished projects like ad/hd :D But keep up the good work, you have a very bright future ahead!

This man just keeps starting new projects instead of finishing the others
I feel that hahaha
Same here! I have so many half finished projects floating around my house right now.
I feel that in my soul. I've got at least 15 projects I'm working on concurrently.
@@anon_y_mousse Do you plan on creating more projects in the future?
@@Edwin6264. Do you mean in general, or while I'm still working on old projects?

Programming on old hardware makes me appreciate the modern technology. Love these videos keep it up

I like how you talk to your PS1 via serial interface
The production value of your videos keeps increasing and it's awesome! Keep it up!

The super max jumpscare was 💯
Awesome video but we need more technical details about how you actually did it! I’d love if explain the programming part
I was expecting a little bit more technical details but good video still! And the cinematic intro was amazing xD

This is awesome! I would love to see a deeper-dive, more technical explanation of how you did this.. 👏👏 Good job! 😁
Great video!!! I had no idea that was possible. Thanks for trying it and showing us how you did it!
This is hilarious and brilliant. Keep it up!
It would be great if the developers at the time had this level of creativity. Awesome project
Most probably they did, but there are licensing restrictions and so on...
and who would be playing this? It it easier to get another joystick

You should make a ps2 with online multiplayer. That way you can play your game with your viewers, fans, and critics.

Maybe DON'T put things into The Corner?
Things just migrate into the corner naturally after a while of not being used, I have a similar place in my house, we call it "the room".
