    I have been working on my PC for many years and this is the first time EVER I have clicked 'subscribe' to any TH-cam channel! Mel has an amazing ability to teach in a way that viewers are kept 'engrossed' throughout. I have found gold and diamonds! Thank you Mel!

    Mel you are the sweetest lady! I have been guilty of hesitating until I watched your tutorials; which I very much appreciate. Thank you for presenting this topic.

    My first ScanNCut will be delivered tomorrow!! My husband and I are both sick (don’t know with what). I caught this first program and enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve subscribed and because I didn’t watch you live, it’s January 2024, I can watch further episodes! Don’t worry, the second I get my delivery and feel up to playing, I will do all my homework! Thank you for doing this!💜

    Got my SDX2250D yesterday. It is out the box and it’s sitting on my kitchen island glaring at me. It’s terrifying. Going to watch all your videos. Got a Cricut Maker which I’ve got my head round but this is a whole new ballgame. Here I go …….

    You are a fantastic tutor, and I love your sense of humour/perspective on things. I've had my machine for several years and have used it, but I needed fresh inspiration and you are great! Thank you so much! I love your structured, ordered approach. It makes so much sense and is so logical.

    I have just found your channel and I’m so glad! Finally got my SNC out of the box 😊, set it up and cut out my first simple shape yesterday! I was so proud of myself 🤣 I got my machine as a bonus when I bought my Brother Stellaire embroidery machine! My goal is to be able to cut out fabric for appliqué. Your class is so informative and easy to understand! I’m definitely a new subscriber and follower! Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your time and talent, Now I'm inspired to get the Scan N Cut out of that box (after almost 2 years... can't believe it myself) and use it for a special project. I have had my SDX 2200D for nearly 3 years now and have only used it to cut stamped images and Vinyl. This class is what I needed from the start to learn the basics. I have only found this class in November 2023, so I have a few of your classes to wade through. Even my husband is interested in learning about the Scan and Cut. Thank you. Regards Liz

    This is a fantastic series for people like hubby and me. Thank you for making it. We will be following along as soon as we can begin. I think it will really help us to get to know and properly use the SDX125e I ordered today. We're old (73 and 80) and are trying to start a little channel here just for fun and to keep us busy and learning.
    We have a Cricut Air sitting on a shelf that we've tried using a few times, but it always lands back on that shelf because we have to first go to the Cricut online place to do anything... and it won't print and cut a full sheet, so there's a lot of wasted cardstock.

    I won several die cutting machines and have many dies. The manual machines which are all I have for the dies, hurt my hands and getting the right sandwich is frustrating, making it a chore and half to mass produce. I'm so looking forward to this....I have many stamps that I don"t have dies for, so this will be great- also cutting out digital images!!! Love the shaped card!!! THANK YOU!

I worked with it until I could cut a card, and two layers without going back to watch the video.(I will not reveal how many times it took! But I finally got it....). I learned how to stack the pieces, make the mat cutting surface smaller to ignore two of the pieces. You are brilliant! I learned so much, I am looking forward to lesson 2. Again, Thank you!

    Hi Mel,
    I just found your channel. Today is 4 September 2023 and I have had my SNC (SDX330D) for over 2 years maybe 3. I have taken it out of the box and put it on one of my craft tables, set up my accounts, got it registered and on Canvas that’s it. So your channel is going to be a game changer for me and my SNC. I’m in the States, in southern Louisiana. Do y’all send to the States? I have watched a few of your videos this evening and they are SO INFORMATIVE!!!! I’m a card maker and I prefer to make 5”x7” or larger.

Brother's info page is about as clear to understand as Sanskrit - never mind that their web site is a nightmare to use. It takes every click forever just to load. I think one of the differences is that you get the Disney patterns withe the 'D' machines, but have to purchase them with other models.

    I just bought a dX230DI if I need 4 of a shape can I tape 4 layers of fabric down as long as it is no more than 3mm thick and it will cut it?

    • @HighlightCrafts
      @HighlightCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      depending on how big the shape is you could cut up the fabric to place pieces on the mat in different places, then duplicate the shape can cut it out of each piece. We would not recommend stacking layers on top of each other as this could damage the machine or the blade.
