The young fella is learning more and more every time he helps out Richard . I was surprised to see a trunk in that car, I haven’t seen a Mustang here in Ontario that the trunk ever survived. Thanks for the video guys. Nice camera work as always Christina.👍👍🇨🇦

That young fella cruising into poor health due to obesity that causes heart disease, diabetes and cancer,he should be looked after and put on a proper diet (no seed oils, sugar especially carbs and most vegetables that are poisonous,)hopefully he can get healthy before damage occurs

Why it's so hard to find a woman like her is because she's a hot beautiful alien from another planet, with genetics to match. A grandma?? Yes. And Richard's got her, and she's a gearhead: \m/.

64.5 to 66 mustangs never had front disc brakes from the factory. They were single reservoir all 4 drum brakes. I put 67 mustang ( kelsey hayes 4 piston ) disc brakes on my 66 mutt. You needed to change to a dual reservoir drum / disc master and put a proportioning valve inline to balance the brake pressure front to rear. I also added the power brake booster because it was really hard to apply brakes without the power assist. It is a bolt on changeover.

I'm not a huge Mustang fans since i prefer the more rare ophan cars myself. But one thing that i've noticed since watching these videos is how Richard really likes to prepare his area before he starts to work. It shows that he wants to give himself the proper space he needs to work comfortably and without clutter. I'm the same way. I would do as he and go through the car, clean away anything unecessary before i jump into the revival. Great video as always.

You say you don't work on Mustangs much. I've restored them for 40+ years. The size of the radiator was determined by the cubic inces of the motor, and, by what accessories the engine had. That there is a 19w x 19.5t. If it had a.c., it would have had a 20w x 19.5t. Anything bigger than a 351, would have a 24w x 19.5t.

My mechanic left a radiator cap on the wheel well which fell into the fan and
took his left eye out!!😖😞 He wore a patch and worked many years until retirement.
It messed up his depth perseption and he had to be careful driving.
We called him Long John Silver and every Halloween he dressed up as a pirate

I have aleays admired the mustangs from 1965. In the 70's a guy offered me one tat had been a drag car , complete with a beam axle from a truck for the front end . At $1800 i thought it was too much . Years later i found out it was a Shelby kit race car,one of 12 built by Shelbys for race only duty. 😯😯😯😭

Again, great job Richard getting the Mustang running! By the way, I have that exact blue Tach/Dwell meter. It's at least 40 years old and still works great on my '54 Bel-Air!!

The black hood on red paint made me think of the mustang from that movie Cherry 2000. I had a 65 mustang my senior year in High-school and kept it till I was 22

This cool kid is already a gear head. Very good quality on a new generation. Car sounds great; good candidate to bring back.

and it runs like a charm again. :) and it sounds like one, too. :D
the interior looks great (aside the missing roofliner, of course), I hope it won't fall apart now that the sun can bake it crispy...I once had a german Ford from the 70's, everythign was worn to the bones except the seats. but then I made the mistake and remove the seat covers, and 4 weeks later the light tan vinyl turned brown and crumbled away... :0

True, that is a concern here. That shelter may have been collapsed a while but the sun will eventually get to those seats.

It had 100 octane in it judging by the south paw flag😊 there was definitely routine maintenance im no expert like Richard but a micro meter might be a good investment hopefully this kid watches this frequently cause tons of knowledge In about 40 mins does the kid have a channel I seen rust go out the exhaust so an oil change might be good next i was impressed with those tires..
