I am a Chinese postgraduate student studying in Italy, and this video brought me to tears. Firstly, I was moved by your joyfulness, and secondly, by your reaction after experiencing firsthand the kindness and warmth of the Chinese people. The hostility towards China in the Western world, especially in some parts of Europe, is alarmingly severe. Those who pride themselves on living in the "free world" ridicule the Chinese for not having "freedom" and being "brainwashed". Yet, seeing how many Europeans and people in the English-speaking world believe whatever they hear in the news daily, I think the truly pitiful ones are them. What does living in the "free world" amount to? Without the ability to think critically and independently, it's simply living in a different kind of prison. I hope more and more people will experience China for themselves, as without firsthand experience, they have no right to speak. Thank you for breaking through the various smears of Western media with your video. Thank you.

Welcome to Tianjin. This is my home town. Although I have lived in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, as well as New York and DC, Tianjin is still my favorite city. The city is beautiful in all four seasons. The architecture looks like a mix and match of different influences. Most of the scenic sites are within walking distance from each other. The people are outgoing and fun loving. And the river runs through the city carries so many memories. I learned swimming and ice skating in and on the river. My dad used to take me fishing and boating in the river. I love to stride along the river and watch people enjoying their lives. It’s just a great place to just be, may you be born there or just visiting. You will always be entertained. Your video is great as always, yet it’s only about 1/10 of the amazing places you can visit within a 5 km diameter. I doubt you would find time to revisit Tianjin since China is such a vast country and there are loads of places to see. But still, Thank You for letting people see a glimpse of my home town. And do enjoy your journey wherever hearts take you to. Travel Safe and be Happy. ❤❤❤ much love
The whole Tianjin is a history of Western countries colonizing China. Tianjin was a major port city and a center of international trade and diplomacy in northeastern China from the late 19th to the early 20th century. During this period, Tianjin was divided into nine foreign concessions, where different countries built their own distinctive architectures in various styles.
If we are constantly reminded that paper, printing, camera obscura (photo), spaghetti, dumplings, fishing rods, football, crossbow, chess, umbrellas and much, much more were invented in China, there won’t be enough time to list it, then it will probably be boring. And the guys are having fun about the present! Thanks to them for I'm getting a boost of energy when I see them! Although, I agree with you, in China they respect monuments of different cultures.❤

@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt , I saw you kept posting this same old rhetoric rubbish everywhere. Why? The Brit pianist is your friend or relative or hero? Or you have problem with the Chinese? Or you are simply biased & anti-Chinese?
I'm so glad yall had a lot of fun in my hometown! Wish we can meet in person sometime, and I can bring yall to some popular local joints to try out some good food!
I like the title because some people will look on expecting to find negative reasons why you ask "why is no one here?" but they will be surprised to see it's nothing like the media has been telling them. I just found your channel and I wonder if you will be staying there a while and showing more videos like this ? I ask because I really enjoyed watching you both sharing your experiences and will subscribe to see more 👍
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt When someone is videoing you in a public place for commercial purposes, then you have the right to refuse it and demand that you not be videoed without your consent! Showing monetized video on a social media platform is a form of commercial activity.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt Posting online image or video of you without your consent can be a legal issue to the person or business who posted it. If you didn’t take the photo or video but you are in it, someone could breach your rights (such as data protection or privacy rights) by posting it. This can be true even if you do not own the copyright to it. If someone has posted a photo or video of you that you do not want to be shared, you can ask the poster to take it down. If they don't agree to take it down, you can take legal action.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt Can I sue someone for posting a video of me on the Internet? It is unlawful for anyone to post images or videos of you on a social media platform without your consent. Each platform has its own privacy policy with its own rules, but there are several ways you can get control, including claiming invasion of privacy, defamation, or a violation of your right to publicity. If image of you is without your consent to turn a profit, they are infringing on your right to publicity. If someone posts a photo or video of you without your permission, you can ask them to take it down. You can then pursue legal action if that person continues to refuse.
Tianjing is beautiful, try spend more time there as there's still lots of places & architecture to see. Dont leave the north so soon! There's many ancient, unique & beautiful cities like Harbin, Shenyang, Shaanxi, Xian just to name a few. Then move on to the central like Hangzhou, Chendu, Chongqing. For the south Kunming, Lijiang, Blue Moon Lake, Xishuangbanna are good choices. Dont need to rush to Shenzhen cause tbh it's just more or less like Shanghai a metropolitan city. Last but not least, can't u apply for extension of 15 to 30 days in China stating valid reason like u're vlogging? That'll save much hassle and money flying in & out. I remembered before covid all foreign vloggers had 30 days stay.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt I'd watched his Channel for yrs. My take is, the shouting part from the Chinese guy was undeniably wrong, the not wanting their faces shown part was fair enough also wrong, as they didnt quite make out British law. But it shouldnt be escalated into a big deal aftermath like what he's doing, calling out the whole nation NAMES. Its just a small group of pple but now it's the whole country & it's govt's fault? As if China Chinese were some sought of plague on earth who hav no morals, values or watsoever freedom. Frankly speaking if this incident started w an American, Australian or European who might also yell or shout, Im sure he wouldn't start his hardcore racial slurs. Anyone who'd gone to & knew China just felt very disgusted, what more can we say?
When I was in Tianjin in August this year, I ordered a cup of milk tea at the same place as you were. I am from Tianjin. You can go to the famous water park, then come out from the main entrance, cross the street, you should see a big shopping mall, go in and have lunch on the top floor, try a hot pot restaurant (Haidilao) or a grilled fish restaurant.
Yes. I believe Tianjin is underrated. I have never been to Tianjin but I have seen many videos of Tianjin especially the scene where the background is Ferris wheel plus the river with all the buildings along the river.
So much fun watching your enthusiasm again guys. The ice sports is very common in the north, my favorite is the chairs that have blades on the bottom, that's my kind of sport, armchair sledging 😉😉🤣🤣 If you want them to know you don't understand you can say ( Wo Ting Bu Dong) Wo is pronounced like you are telling a horse to stop "Whoa". The bread is often eaten with warm soy milk, it's a good combo.
Tianjin is a port city like Liverpool. It was briefly colonized. It used to be called the backyard of Beijing where rich merchants and retired officials live their retirement. It was industrlized and later became a port and tourism city again. The city vibe is a mixture of western influence, old Chinese rich class style and working class life style and northern China traditional culture. Enjoy China, there's much more.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vtdon't you have laws about privacy? It is rude to film other people without those other people's permission to be included in their videos. That is a breach in privacy. But it seems there are Westerners that lack those manners required to be respectful to other people. Well, those paparazzis thrive on cashing in on celebrities. But those Chinese visiting London are private people.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt But then people have the right to refuse if they don't want to be included in the video. Each party has its faults. But in your case, you want it to be sensationalized to make the fault of those Chinese tourists as represenrations of what the Chinese are. You Westerners have your own Karens and Kens but they don't represent the arrogance of the whole Westerners.
Thanks for the sharing 👍 it is glad that you enjoy everything you can experience in person and feel the friendliness of people in my country. Keep going 💪
tianjin is a city famous for its optimism hospitality and humor.相声xiangsheng which you can see it as the chinese talk show is an important part in tianjin culture.tianjin uncles and aunties would jump in the river having a diving game in summer time😂so much fun
Great videos! I am glad you had fun in Tianjin, Beijing, and Shanghai. There are many other amazing places to visit in China. If you are interested to see different cities, I would strongly recommend you start with cities such as Chong qing, Xi'an, or Chengdu. There are also many natural sceneries that are not in the urban areas. It's a huge country full of surprises! Enjoy!
Great video! The Tianjin WFC is only the 3rd tallest in Tianjin, the tallest, CTF Finance Center is almost 200 meter taller and there is two even taller ones under construction!
Ahhh.....Tianjin. I had been twice. First was during a 8-days holiday trip to Beijing which included a day visit to Tianjin in 2001. The second time was to pay a visit to a steel pipe factory where we had placed an order for our project in Sudan. That was in 2003 if I am not mistaken. But I can still remember the sales manager very well who showed us around the factory, took us for lunch & dinner after that. Also the next day brought us around to see the city including buying tickets to see an old unused aircraft carrier which was turned into a local sightseeing tourist attraction. I wonder whether it's still there. Then on the 3rd day, he drove us to Beijing to meet his boss. What I always remember about this young Chinese guy, the manager, is that he was wearing the same set of clothings for 3 straight days! My goodness...he didn't have to change his clothings at all? Dun tell me, not even his underwear too?? 😂😂
Seeing you enjoy the ice and the snow so much, I'd like to recommend Haerbin, there's the biggest snow&ice festival in the world every winter, it'll be demolished within about a month then rebuilt in the next winter, you won't want to miss that out
There is a bit of an error. In the video, it is actually the fourth tallest building capped in Tianjin, called Tianjin World Financial Center, only 336 meters high and 75 floors. The first three are 597 meters, 530 meters, and 338 meters. Tianjin CTF Finance Center is 530 meters and 97 floors and far more higner then this. At the same time, there is a 415-meter Tianjin Radio&Television Tower.
Enjoy your touring China videos which gives me ideas what to look out for in our next visits to China. China is getting better day by day. My bucket list is to also visit Xinjiang and Xizang (Tibet). You guys may contemplate a visit to the west. Watching your videos feeling there is still positive energy from England.
Welcome!!idk abt Tibet but as for Xinjiang, it's better to avoid tourist peak time from late June to August, which will be expensive and heavily crowded. I think May, early June and September should be a great time for both weather and accommodation especially September, that's when fruit and corps get harvested so it's the most tasty time around the year🥰
You guys are so open-minded and adventurous. I was surprised to find that people in the city didn't treat you like aliens and you were safe walking everywhere. Please show us more. Thank you.
You mentioned Shenzhen is on your list, if so, please go to Lianhuashan Park in Futian district, the scene looking from top of the hill is spectacular.
15:46 The building you showed is not ctf finance center. That is Tianjin world financial centre and it is just only 336 meter tall.Tianjin ctf finance center is situated in binhai new area of tianjin
We loved this vlog so much. We really felt that we were with you as you enjoyed the city. Very brave on the ice. I felt like putting a coat on cos it looked sooo cold but so much fun 😁
I have never been to Tianjin. Thanks for showing us. I just traveled to Xiamen during Xmas. You guys should visit too. It's way way cheaper there. Bus ride rmb1 each journey. Metro rmb2-5. Taxi rmb11. All those chain stores I guess in every city in China.

Welcome to Tianjin! love your cheerful videos which bring viewers so much joy.
As always, a pleasure to watch your videos ❤
Aww thanks 🤩
Nice video. Fun to watch.
Tianjin was so much fun no doubt 🤩
Thank you for this excellent videos with Tianjin, I had been there almost thirty years ago, Tianjin has changed completely
Tianjin we heard was ahead in progress compared to many big cities in China 30 years ago
I like the title because some people will look on expecting to find negative reasons why you ask "why is no one here?" but they will be surprised to see it's nothing like the media has been telling them.
I just found your channel and I wonder if you will be staying there a while and showing more videos like this ? I ask because I really enjoyed watching you both sharing your experiences and will subscribe to see more 👍
Thanks a lot ☺️
I believe you will have a wonderful trip in China🇨🇳❤!
We are loving our time in China, it’s so much fun 🤩
Hope? They already have been enjoying a wonderful time in China for a while, why hope? 😅

When someone is videoing you in a public place for commercial purposes, then you have the right to refuse it and demand that you not be videoed without your consent! Showing monetized video on a social media platform is a form of commercial activity.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt
Posting online image or video of you without your consent can be a legal issue to the person or business who posted it.
@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt
Can I sue someone for posting a video of me on the Internet?
你很懂😬

That milk tea was incredible 🥰
Thanks a lot ☺️

@SLAVAUKRAINI-cb5vt well, then you are racist. Spies and CCP agents? You are a slanderer. 🤡🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the sharing 👍 it is glad that you enjoy everything you can experience in person and feel the friendliness of people in my country. Keep going 💪
Great video! Financial center in Tianjin got a nickname,Maize. Shape of building looks like Maize hence the nickname. Keep up the good spirit!
OMG, you guys are having so much fun...
in my impression, you are so far the first foreign vloggers in Tianjin. keep up your good work!
Thanks! 😃
Walking on the frozen river looks so much fun, hahaha...love it!

Nobody's driving guzzling cars here, what a heart-warming street
Are you for real?
因为这是步行街啊...
Tianjin special must have: Gou Bu Li (狗不理包子), Big Twist (大麻花), Tianjin Crepe (天津煎饼).....
Thanks for sharing this great video!
tianjin is a city famous for its optimism hospitality and humor.相声xiangsheng which you can see it as the chinese talk show is an important part in tianjin culture.tianjin uncles and aunties would jump in the river having a diving game in summer time😂so much fun
Absolutely Love your excitement as if I were traveling with you everywhere. Please keep up the good work and happy travels
Thanks for the kind words ☺️
enjoying watching you guys, keep it up! there's a million other places in china!
We would love to visit as many as we can 🥰
Great videos! Enjoy!
Thanks for the recommendations! We’d love to 👍🏻😁
Really love to watch your videos, so much joy!
Thank you so much!
Never heard of Tianjin before it’s something interesting amazing city , clean and massive.
Tianjin is the port city of Beijing.
It's an old big industrial city of the north~
China has four municipalities, such as Beijing and Shanghai. Tianjin is one of them.
One of the most fun places we’ve visited in China so far and a massive city too ☺️
@@sunkissedbucketlist let's not forget how much fun you two had coming down the Great Wall on that toboggan :)
Great video! The Tianjin WFC is only the 3rd tallest in Tianjin, the tallest, CTF Finance Center is almost 200 meter taller and there is two even taller ones under construction!
Wow, that's a beautiful city ❤
We had so much fun there ☺️
When the sunset passes through the middle of that gate shaped building, wow
Love your guys big smiles ,which makes me smile with you unconsciously 😊
Seeing you enjoy the ice and the snow so much, I'd like to recommend Haerbin, there's the biggest snow&ice festival in the world every winter, it'll be demolished within about a month then rebuilt in the next winter, you won't want to miss that out
welcome!guys🎉🎉
Thanks for showing the REAL China to the world ❤❤❤
☺️☺️☺️
Skiing on the ice looked so awesome, what an experience!
Amazing!!! 🤩
now i want to goto tianjing in the winter, just to step / skate on that frozen lake
Wow....such an amazing video....i have no idea Tianjin could be so much fun in winter. Will consider there later. Have fun and all the best 😊
It’s only half an hour from Beijing so it makes perfect sense when visiting Beijing ☺️🥰
U look so happy❤ i can’t help smiling too.thank you ❤love U two
You are so kind, thank you ☺️
Enjoy your touring China videos which gives me ideas what to look out for in our next visits to China. China is getting better day by day. My bucket list is to also visit Xinjiang and Xizang (Tibet). You guys may contemplate a visit to the west. Watching your videos feeling there is still positive energy from England.
新疆绝对值得一去
Welcome!!idk abt Tibet but as for Xinjiang, it's better to avoid tourist peak time from late June to August, which will be expensive and heavily crowded. I think May, early June and September should be a great time for both weather and accommodation especially September, that's when fruit and corps get harvested so it's the most tasty time around the year🥰
新疆是超级美的

I like that babble restaurant by street. Absolutely lovely❤️
Thanks for the suggestion 😀
So much energy out of your video, love you guys! bubble tea is in every of your Chinese video, hehehe
Haha we love it 😊
Wow, what a bargain! 12:37
15:46 The building you showed is not ctf finance center. That is Tianjin world financial centre and it is just only 336 meter tall.Tianjin ctf finance center is situated in binhai new area of tianjin
Really enjoy your positive energy!
Thank you 🤩
Great video. Next time when I come to China I definitely will visit tianjin
Please do! ☺️

That is epic guys.. awesome
Thanks for the immersive videos, it was really fun to watch your trip! I guess the next place you're going is Chengdu?😊😊
You should try goubuli bun, very famous in Tianjin.
Thanks for the tips!
