I have recently started working in slack and I need your suggestion on how I can create a channel for receiving feeds from different platforms but the feeds should be only of my preferences ? For example, we have news feeds channel created in slack. When we subscribe for this feed we get every news which is irrelevant to us. If my preferences of feeds are just for Technology with specific to certain fields like project management feeds, Cyber security feeds and we have a third party software whose latest version is released etc.. Thanks in advance.
I believe you would have to customize the feed from the source (where the feed ia coming from) not on the slack side. Mostly i have seen these feeds are not customizable and offer standard notifications for everyone

I believe Slack docs would guide you on this, because what you are looking for is more depth admin knowledge . check out Slack website and certification courses.

My group has too many channels. We would like to merge them all together to one. But how can you merge channels together with all the data ?
You can create a new channel and import the chat manyally. I dont think there is way to merge them today

You can probably send automated message 1-1 message using a bot. Might need someone with developer background to do.

Yes i beleive recording option is available, if you talking about slack huddles .
