      When I click on my profile, I only see the SETTINGS and LOGOUT option appearing and disappearing and nothing more.

    I’m a teacher and I use it to write my lesson plans. My prompt was
    “Please create a 5 day lesson plan introducing Information Technology and Cybersecurity for 7th graders. Each day should include a different discussion topic and online activity. Include a 5 minute wrap up discussion question to end each lesson. Include (insert state) standards.”
    In about five seconds, I had everything I needed. It’s a powerful tool if used correctly.

    Great tip, I used chatGPT to invent several sets of behavioural characteristics of a coach or mentor having a conversation with a client. Then adjusted that and pasted to customization. Now I have a GPT mentor/coach persona who can challenge me and ellicit answers by asking probing questions I would never come up with.

    I learnt so much from this video, especially the content on custom instructions and requesting source URL's. One thing I've found though is that requesting URLs for TH-cam doesn't seen to work, not quote worked that out yet.

    Thanks for these great tips! I use Claude 3.5 instead of ChatGPT and it seems a bit more ethical to me. For example, I said I had an idea for a stun gun that sprayed a jet stream of a fluid that could carry the electrical charge 8-10 feet away and asked what fluids could carry the electric charge. Claude 3.5 said it wouldn’t answer anything that could be used to harm someone but ChatGPT gave me several fluids. The prompts for text to image still needs a lot of work. Some have negative prompts that are supposed to let you specify what not to have in the image but no matter what I try all of them get confused very easily. Text to voice generators can sound more natural if you write the text like a movie script with punctuation for pauses, emphasis, and other voice changes. It’s cool that these services are free and available to use for commercial purposes so I shouldn’t complain but if you need a logo you should break it down into several elements and then combine them yourself or have a graphic artist combine them for you.

    Hi Leila - I've used Bing's version of ChatGPT but it wouldn't allow very much text in my query (Like critiquing a 20 page thesis for punctuation, for example). Are there different ChatGPT programs that you recommend? (I feel a bit behind the times as I am just now getting interested in using it).

    It's amazing that ChatGPT still doesn't ask context gathering questions and just blurts out answers instead of asking simple questions like "can you elaborate on what you mean by XYZ?"

      You should always have a line in your prompt…ask clarifying questions prior to providing your response. Works great.

      @@gregspear Ok nah, I just tried it using your exact prompt and chatgpt just created a list or series of all possible clarifying questions, which is not the point of asking context gathering questions. You ask them based on each step and point. You don't create a list of all possible questions. Again, AI will never be human...

      Fine-tuning is more for people who use the API and not for the average 3.5 free or 4 plus user. People have been getting a lot of terminology mixed up.

      Unless you use VPN, don’t worry (or actually worry) because they know where you’re based via your IP address, and internet provider information… now I’m actually the one scared 😂

    What if you wanted to reset your preferences/custom instructions and later on wanted Chat GPT to give the further explanation - how can you do this Leila?
