Just to clarify, Derek had this amp on his dyno and posted it 4 years ago. Not sure where you looked? BUT… Always great to see another machine test the same amp and see if there’s any discrepancies 👌🏻
Impressive results if you ever come across a SAZ-1500D 15th anniversary edition i'd love to see it on the dyno, i have #21 & 39 to be strapped on a Zv6 12
@@Facekicker What do you think would sound better, wiring a dvc 4ohm sub at 4ohms using only one voice coil, or wiring it at 2 or 8 ohms using both voice coils??
I had this amp, and I hated it. It does do power, but it's very lacking in bass for certain frequencies and just sounded off, "muddy" as some have put it.
@FATHER'S OF BASS The bass sounded bad, was more of a punchy bass instead of lows. Anything under 40s hertz was lackluster, muffled and tapered off quite a bit. I got the rp2000 for my 3rd vehicle, to replace the Sundown 2000D, that I was giving to a friend as a gift. I used the RP for a whole 3 days and pulled it out and got a Taramps Bass 3k for the same price instead and was much happier that route.
@@Joe_1776 Yeah I learned that too on their rp800, I upgraded to their rp1500 and the bass sounds way better at all frequencies, I played around with a couple other bass amps I had, like nvx and deaf bonce and each one sounds slightly different on the same songs and all settings off. I guess it's not all about power.
If your hearing muddy, that's box not amp..the amp can only reproduce what it's given .the muddy is going to be the box or even the sub..lots of current subs are muddy sounding..it's not easy to get a woofer to play low, deep and clean..
@@DustinG33 the jp23 only does 804 at 4ohm and 1480 at 2ohm and 2480 at 1ohm at 14.25v and that's a fact.... and yes it can do .5 ohm but it's not gonna last for years if u do that so u are a liar
Ct2000 is the bargain buy in this class. I agree with @joe the rp I had was muddy.
Not really. JP23 and CAB22 outperform the CT in the same budget

Keep up the good work shared to skar Facebook group
Much appreciated!
I would please like to see the Skar Audio - RP-1200.1D amplifier dyno tested also soon as you can.
Got a picture of where the gain and lpf are set at? Trying to get a clean sound at the right setting…
With car battery at 1ohm can i get 1600 rms? My sub is pioneer 3020pto 1800rms peak 3500w
Why did you remove the amp meter? Everyone does that and its important info?
Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.
You bet! 👊🏼
You must not have searched, at all. Skar 2000.1 dyno pulls up a 6yr old video and 4 yr old video from trusted youtubers.
Just want to know can you play for hours without it getting hot? Love the channel.
Yessir, we install these into daily drivers often, no heat issues.
Thanks for your support!
@@Facekicker thank you
Cool,,thanks for doing this video,, could u please do a review on the avatar 3500.1
Please .
I will try!
Thank you
Gas prp2500.1 похожий?
we sell these like hot cakes at the pawn shop which also specializes in car audio
Did you have the subsonic filter off??
Yes
Ok thank you
Would like to see power at 15.8 for people running lithium banks 👍🏻
Most folks running a 2k aren't charging quite that high
Impressive results

Can this amp do 8ohms?
Yeah it'll drive 8 ohms but it won't have much punch behind it, roughly half what it does at 4

@@bensenjoe7105 I would wire it to 2 ohms
Can it hold .5 ohm?
@@kayotic_records not recommended with RP Series
Efficiency at 1 ohm?
It's shown twice in the video 👍
@@Facekicker ahh I missed it trying multitask thank you I will watch again

@Ryan Moore it wasn't the box or subs, as I said before I had a different 2k on it and sounded great. It was the amp no question about it.
I had the rp 350 sounded like the bass was off . I could never figure out what it was. Sound quality is not there , but power is there
Hell ya .that's jp23 territory..skar is proving me wrong again.. 😂
The JP23 does more at 2ohm then this does at 1 ohm and at a lower voltage
Not even close
@DustinG33 1750 at 2ohms is not more then this amp.... jp23 only does 300 watts more

Yes it's almost same watts but this amp won't do .5 ohm and last very long
