Infamous 3 is projected to hit shelves in 2023 currently, but the project is a secret, and no information is public aside frok a few leaks that myself and a few others have shared. Infamous 3 will be the continuation of Cole Macgrath's story. It picks up showing that the lightning striking his coffin jumpstarted his heart at the end of the second game. This was denied multiple times publicly to keep people off game developers for a quick release, to ensure it gets all the attention to detail it deserves. The lightning bolt at the end of Infamous 2 was shaped like a question mark, but it was actually to represent sly cooper's cane. This is a hint that some were smart enough to figure out. This is done because it's stating that Cole's story will not continue until we see a return to the sly series. Sly 5 is I production already, and when it is officially announced, Infamous 3 will be teased. You're welcome!
I have a soft spot for the first one, I liked the the story, especially the overall mystery around the incident and the enemy factions at each island. But I believe Infamous 2 was the overall best in the franchise. Second Son had the best gameplay but the story was forgettable and the characters weren’t as memorable as Cole and Zeke were.
I disagree but understand where you’re coming from. Delsin and Reggie I felt were great characters. The story was smaller but I felt it was solid as a whole.
@@JPmoney99 I also think they were great characters, the chemistry was there just from the fact that Troy Baker, Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey are really close IRL, just not as memorable as Cole and Zeke, which is an aspect in which Infamous 2 is slightly better at imo. However I think the villain was underwhelming by the end and Evil Delsin wasn’t as believable as good Delsin. The premise of the overall story was great, but it wasn’t as fleshed out/interesting as I hoped it would’ve been. BTW Infamous 2 also wasn’t perfect - The User-Generated content had nice premise and I liked what it strived to do, but ended up being the most forgettable thing in the franchise imo .
@@schemar17 The gameplay is good too. Also it’s just my opinion I never said anyone should share my opinion I even said I understood where the person was coming from
@@CyberneticHype Ah I gotcha now and don’t get me wrong I agree I do prefer cole and zeke too. Also I do agree evil delsin wasn’t super believable or at the very least him killing his tribe since even evil he still cared about his tribe
Infamous 1&2 remaster would be SO amazing to see. Touched up textures, 60 capped framerate, better particle effects, that's what I need to see sometime to bring these games back into my life after so long.

Personally I would like to see inFamous 3 following a timeliness where you play as Kessler, in one of the "Failed Timelines" if I remember correctly he mentioned it was not the first time he traveled. Maybe make the Cole from that time line become the beast himself, like he absorbed Jhon and his power when he had the chance to destroy/use Ray Sphere. This will probably never happen tho
InFamous 2 made me feel something no game has to this day, the foreboding feeling of things to come in each game felt so intense. They were very fun games that felt like something really grim was going on. The atmosphere was so good
i agree completely. Other than the resistance series, I dont know of any other series that made you actually feel like you were dealing with world ending events. I felt actual dread when dealing with the story in infamous 2 because of zeke and that amazing ending. all of this foreboding and actual dread are due to the atmosphere, the character depth and likeability (i loved zeke and cole), and the karma system.

SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS The best moment in Second Son was when Reggie died and you had that fight afterwards. Seeing Delsin, who was always making jokes, not taking things too seriously, get serious like that was a great moment. Specially when you used the Orbital Drop and that smiling face is replaced by a look of pure anger. When he was coming down I felt like he was putting all of his power into it. It was amazing.
I think the established reason for Delsons lackluster in his powers was because none of those are his powers. They were stolen because his ability specifically is taking power from the enemy and using it against them. It was a major point in Second Son that he literally used Video against the Video game guy and Concrete against the main antagonist. So yeah it makes sense he wouldn’t have variety. Those powers aren’t his. Sure he has them now but if he had them for longer he’d have had time to practice with them and gain those varied skill sets. His actual ability makes him way more flexible if not difficult to keep up with. Cole McGrath was a cool character who would be just as you made him, good or bad, but if you ask me, Second Son is more fun because you see through the eyes of someone who never needed or cared for those powers until it did matter. Sort of “I don’t need it until I do” type thing and then you see how he responds.
2 was the best imo. The damn boss fights, gameplay and the story were what made me love it for so damn long. Never has a game (besides The Last of Us) made me as emotional at the loss of a major character, be it a protagonist or one of the supporting cast.
I liked the mood of the story from 1 better, 2 lacked the feeling of mystery, darkness, deepness and character growth to it, and to me it felt underwhelming, I had such higher expectations after the first. I preferred New Marais though, and I'm not sure if that tone would've fit that city.
God I wish the infamous series makes a return sometime in the future. It's just so god damn cool I love it! Easily in my top 5 game series ever maybe even top 3
@@ar-yj8lb well if Ghost of Tsushima 2 gets in a "Batman: Arkham Knight situation", then a new inFAMOUS game (like Batman: Arkham Origins) could be developed to keep fans active until that game is ready to be released
Me too. I really hope Insomniac hasn't abandoned this IP which I personally think has the most potential out of their modern IPs. They just need to work on it a little more and it'll be awesome

Just like you Aqua my first exposure to inFamous was after the PSN hack where I picked up the first game and dead nation. It became one of my favorite games, but I couldn't afford inFamous 2 as a stupendously broke high school student so I got Festival of Blood. Enjoyed it, but always wished for more. For my birthday my mom got me the hero edition of inFamous 2 and it became my favorite PS3 game, even now 10 years later. I still have the messenger bag and Cole statue from the game too! Thank you so much for going over this series, it reminded me why I'll always cherish these games. Even if SP has moved on to other great projects like Ghost of Tsushima I'll always remember them for inFamous
My friend in middle school let me borrow his copy of iF1 and that's how I got hooked on the series. When iF2 came out, I asked my grandma for money to buy the hero edition because I wanted the messenger bag so bad. Back then I didn't know that I had to preorder it so when my grandfather took me to Gamestop afterschool I was only able to buy the game. I just bought two messenger bags from the hero edition on ebay to finally satisfy my 12 year old self from 2011 (this is def an I'm starting to feel old moment) iF2 is one of my top 5 fav games of all time, I really hope SP remaster or remake the first two games so we could play them at 4k 60fps.
I think that inFAMOUS 1 has something so special about it, where it aged so well that i would pay full price today, even after replaying it. The atmosphere, the story, the characters, the choices, and the map all give it such a dark yet strangely comfortable vibe. You feel like you're truly making an impact in NYC, whether it be good or bad.
Yeah totally. 1 was so dark and foreboding. And the enemies were pretty sinister and dangerous. I remember getting to the second island after whatever big boss fight, feeling like a tough guy... but then you're in this whole new neighbourhood, the power is out, gunshots are echoing around the rooftops - and it's genuinely tense. Then you've got Alden's tower, which was the most crazy climbing I've ever done in a video game... I was so disappointed with Infamous 2, even though the graphics were way better. It completely lost that gritty urban feel, and that sense of a city on the edge. Then it lost all credibility with Nix and Kuo, two complete cliche video game characters, and its array of alien/zombie style enemies, again removing the game from any kind of reality. Such an utter fail. Second Son looked amazing, but again completely lacked the tension and foreboding of the original.
@@mr-hypercycle same feeling i got when second son cameout, i probably would have loved it if i didn't play the first, the dark vibe to the first infamous is what draw things to me
I remember when I first saw inFamous Second Son. It looked so good. I was in awe at how smooth and fluid everything looked and how good the smoke, neon and video effects looked. It was an amazing starting game for the PS4
I still tear up at the good ending of 2,even knowing it wasn't intended to be the canonical ending and I'd kill for a follow up with evil cole but definitely inFamous 2 is the most complete experience
Me too. Every time I hear " but the people of new Mariah. They knew what he done for them" I immediately tear up. Same during Augustine backstory and her way of protecting conduits. Also fetch's dailouge about burning Brent's name into the dealers chest.
Evil ending would've been a better prelude for the climax of a trilogy. But I wouldn't have been mad if Cole had been resurrected by that lightning in the good ending and they had continued the story somehow from there.
@@astrius4125 I kinda agree. They could have made a "what if dlc" . Show the events that take place after new Mariah after the evil ending but with delson as the protagonist. Some Alex Mercer vs James Heller shit. Murder your maker. Cole is the beast. Cole could have activated conduits around akomishs. His tribe and reggie dies and delsin witness this young age. Revenge and justice. Good and evil. Delson would grow up knowing hes a conduit but his power fail manifest until a likely encounter with Hank or another conduit .
@@TheUltrasora Actually, Second Son should be the 'what if'. The developers already confirmed that they had envisioned the 'evil' ending (aka Cole becoming the beast) ever since they wrote inFamous 1. You can see a lot of foreshadowing in the final cutscene. They only changed their mind when they saw that only 20% of the players had seen the evil ending, according to trophy data. Alas, there's no public information on what the original 3rd installment was going to be like. I wonder if they wanted to bring another main character and have Cole as the main antagonist... I hope we get to see it some day.
@@godzillazfriction That's only true for the 2nd. For the 1st, good Cole seems to be canonical according to the interlude comics. For the second, Cole becoming the beast (and hence 'evil' ending) was going to be canon, however that doesn't necessarily mean Cole acting 'evil', as in killing civilians for sport, was going to be canon. The final decision was very grey, because Cole didn't know whether the RFI was going to cure the plague. The issue here was that they karma-locked that decision. I think this was a decision taken by the design team, not the writers. If they had left players with the freedom of choosing one ending or another regardless of karma level, I don't think the sacrifice ending would've won as unanimously as it did. In any case, this has got nothing to do with the title. The reason why 'in' is in lower case while 'Famous' begins with a capital F is precisely to emphasise that there are two paths in the same word, famous or infamous - it's exactly the same as '(in)famous', which would've looked very weird for a title.
Neon was easily my favourite power, I love the speed, agility and precision of it, just bounce in, hit enemy weak points and bounce out, it just gave a feeling of being untouchable, especially with the Karma powers, either a huge fucking minigun power, or a giant singularity, it was just super cool.
I think Chicago would be a good setting for the next infamous game. The district structure would be similar to watchdogs with the train running through the map.
I actually thought First Light was just a little bit better than Second Son. I loved that they decided to flesh out Fetch and her neon powers, I thought that the story was better off for dropping the karma system, and I got a lot of satisfaction going for the platinum trophy and completing the arena.
It lowkey was end game content which bugs me. However its not better but it offers what SS didnt have iono why they didnt update the main game and give us some boss or rival or mecha to fight since in game, they took Kesslers technilogy and weapons which were over 100 years advanced.
I preferred Fetch to Delsin overall honestly and wish that they went that route with her instead of trying. I played First Light before Second Son and was a bit let down with Second Son in hindsight with that (I wanted to follow the order things happened).

I think Second son was the best. It's just visually fucking awesome. Being evil makes your powers look awesome as shit and having my favorite color be red it was like a match made in heaven. Some of the evil upgrades you get like being able to jump higher in vents and executing is so cool. But delsin is such an insufferable asswipe when evil. But while being good story wise is nice it doesn't give me the cool look of evil. and the upgrades While being ok don't compare to evil.
Love all the inFamous games but the first one is my favourite for sure! Loved all the villains and their battles (Kessler, Alden, Sasha) and the original gruff voice of Cole is so nostalgic

I've been waiting for this for a long time. Your Infamous videos got me into your channel. I've been watching them over and over for the past month and now this is here. I am now happy.
Second Son will forever be one of my top 5 favorite games of all time. I understand it’s flaws, and I understand peoples criticisms, but at the end of the day it doesn’t bother me. I loved Troy Baker’s performance and although I personally hope for a sequel with *Delsin, I still wouldn’t mind a new character either. I love Sucker Punch and I hope we get a new Infamous game in the near future.
@@bgbss680 Couldn’t agree more. Ghost was definitely one of the most gorgeous games I played in recent years. I wouldn’t mind if Sucker Punch would develop anthology style Infamous sequels one year and something completely different like Ghost for the following project. I’m convinced anything they put out now is gonna be gold.
What people fail to realize is that the game had 6 months scrapped also, for Delsin's development. What was he suppose to be? Deep? The guy lived his entire life in a resorvation and was a delinquent because he felt trapped. We see his views change and he slowly starts understanding that he was too impulsive. Cole, on the other hand lived in NYC and managed to do whatever the fuck he wanted. He was engaged and had a job, Delsin didnt have those options. However, Suckerpunch did lagged on back story. However we can blame that on the 6 months they shaved off SP for Order 1886. I feel Delsin needs a second game and they should take their time and explore not only his back story, and content in game and enemy variety but also used what they gave us in Paper Trail, the larger conspiracy that is being blind sighted by the whole Conduit shit. Missing children and cartels? All that needs to be explored.
I loved how incorporated the moral choices were in the original Infamous. I remember the mission where partway through, there is that golem that is going to throw an explosive barrel at you but there are downed civilians at its feet. Time slows down and the game points out that if you detonate the barrel now by shooting it, all those people will die, and in order to save them you will have to let it throw and hit you with the explosion. Then, you actually make the decision in gameplay and not a menu. It really shows how accounting for civilians would come up during most battles for superheroes. From then on you are paying attention to how close civilians are to explosives you could tactically detonate. Similarly, the main thing getting in the way of using a lighting storm more often is the risk of civilian casualties, it even limits how often you often you have fun with your abilities in a way that makes you feel like the self-sacrificing hero cole becomes.
I find it interesting how each of the games excelled in a certain aspect while falling a little short in the other ones. InFAMOUS 1 had the best Karma system out of all of them but gameplay and story could’ve been better, especially gameplay in comparison to the other games. Infamous 2 really fleshed out the lightning powers and gave a couple moves in terms of other powers like cryo or napalm while having a not as good karma system and the story certainly getting better though some logic in it could’ve been better. And Second Son gave a lot of power variety and play styles even though the individual powers weren’t as developed which I think is slightly intentional in terms of story as Delsins versions of the powers he copies/mimicks being inferior to the versions the original Primes that he copies off of with examples being how Neon worked in First Light by Fetch in comparison to Second Son by Delsin, Eugene and all his uses of Video, Hank and his superior version of Smoke Dash, and Augustine and all that she’s able to do with Concrete. I think the idea was for Delsin to essentially be a Jack of All Trades, Master of None sort of thing as while his use of the individual powers is decent, he’s not as good as the originals and instead what makes him stand out and above others is the fact that he can use multiple different Conduit powers naturally and switch between them easily as opposed to Cole who needed a power transfer device to get just SOME of either Lucy or Nix’s powers. Besides that, while Second Son’s Karma system was pretty obvious between hero and villain rather than some morality questioning choices, the story can be pretty good if you pick the Hero play through, which it certainly feels like the game was more catered for that play through than the infamous one, as you can see Delsin develop from a delinquent with no goal or direction in life become a hero that has found his sense of self by the end of the game, you can tell the difference between the way he talks and acts at the start of the game and the end which certainly feels like his character developed over time as opposed to Cole who in inFAMOUS 2 felt at times as if his role as the hero was cemented into his character rather than this guy that could go either way. Then there’s how Second Son really brings the powers to life and makes them very vibrant and beautiful looking thanks to graphics and particle affects which doesn’t need much looking into.
Where did you get his powers are inferior from Primes? He literally has his powers for 3 days. When in game we know that Conduits with practice and time learn to use their powers better and become more powerful, Delsin didnt have that opportunity. He had to stress his body using blast cores which are blast shards and push his body to realize new ways to use his powers. Has nothing to do with having inferior powers because his Karma Bombs literally disprove that. Also, neither Cole or Delsin are shown to be bad people, evil karma always looks hyperbolic and forced. Now, if they made a douche bag or assassin like protag then yeah, Evil should be the first canonical route. For character development, its based on their enviroment. Cole grew up n NYC and failed to impress his parents but managed to get a girl who was trying to become a doctor and even his parents said she was the daughter not him. You can say Cole was indifferent about career choices but had explored his options, and what was he 28? Iono i felt through the whole game his guilt is what drove him to become a heroic symbol. Imagine, your powers killing over 100, 000 people? I would feel like shit and i hate people. With Delsin, dude was stuck in a far away reservation and was artistic but clealry he was trapped and couldnt do shit so he became the Naruto of his village. However, as a deliquent he still had a good heart just didnt know where to take his passion and like you said you see a smart ass inpulsive guy become this successor to the once symbol and a symbol himself. A leader. Which should be followed on and explored even more imo. Infamous 1 and 2 had a larger better narrative but for sure to me SS felt more grounded and realistic, lacking in lore but still a masterpiece.
@@squallthegriever when I say his powers are inferior, I mean they aren’t as developed as the originals. You don’t see Delsin turning into a giant Angel like Eugene nor do you see him creating a concrete monster shaped armor like Augustine or creating giant constructs like her. Hank also showed that his Smoke Dash is better than Delsins by crossing between skyscrapers and buildings in a single dash while Delsin would need to do two dashes and a hover and even then, he may not make it to the other side. That’s what I mean by “inferior” as his capabilities with each individual power aren’t at the same level as the original Conduits he got them from. Did you read that part of my comment.
@@tjs1212 I won’t deny that, but for the game and the sake of difficulty and challenge, it would’ve made sense for Delsin to be a Jack of all Trades, Master of None as the player can’t rely on one single power the entire time, they have to change it up with what they have available to use
He said 4 years later, that would mean second son would be taking place in 2015, but it is set 7 years after the new marais incident, so second son actually takes place in 2018, you're welcome 😊
Of the various powersets, my favorite is Video, but that comes with a bit of a caveat. I'm a lore/narrative kind of guy, and I just fell in love with it's POTENTIAL applications, as viewed through the video conduit of Second Son, more than any others. To create constructs, treat the world like some kind of video game or movie, enter into and even shape video worlds and domains, reconfigure your own 'avatar'.... The fact that you barely scratch the surface of Video's potential in gameplay doesn't stop it being the one I'd want.
My favourite level in all three main games was in Infamous 2, where Cole and Zeke are just sitting on the rooftop, chilling over a couple of beers. I laughed so hard on my first playthrough, and it still makes me grin when I think about it. I think it was nice to have a reward just because they got a breather and a chance to be calm and comfortable in each others' company for a while. This is a great example of the strength of the writing and the way we got to know Cole and Zeke. Even a scene where they just sprawl out and drink beers in silence gives a real insight into these well-rounded characters and their relationship.
It's not really a Karma system, but Sundered did the "right way takes sacrifice" thing very well. The upgraded powers you get by corrupting them are sooo good. They change the way you play just about as much as getting the power initially did. If you resist the allure of power, you don't really get many alternate abilities, you just don't get the upgraded abilities.
Holy shit… I’ve played Second son on my ps4, plat trophied it even, have talked about it for years to my friends, and this, today, is the first time ever hearing about other “Infamous” games. I’m absolutely mind blown. I’m so upset I never knew about this series as the games all look awesome. I’m expecting pitch forks and “do u live under a rock” comments but I genuinely had no idea these existed. Thank you for this video.
Check out saints row 4...it perfectly shows how a modern infamous game should be ...that game is crazy...it is prototype with guns and aliens and is pretty cool...saints row 4 was so much underrated that it went under my radar and I got to play it just now...but it is so good that I literally couldn't put it down...
yep if that's the case of Cole's death saving the world then I believe he's alive again since that he was struck by lightning on the ship in his coffin with Zeke on the ship
Infamous 1 and 2 need a true remake. I’d buy them in a heartbeat. They’re such great games and are honestly what got me into story driven single player games. I’d love a new game in the series too
I really really hope the collab is with Whitelight, but maybe I’m getting my hopes up! Congratulations on the amazing growth man, I love your reviews so much.
You don’t need “a background in” music to say what you like. Just like you don’t need to be able to cook to say what food you like. If it sounds good to you, then it’s good according to you!
2 is the best. Second son seemed almost afraid to tell it's story and it was generic but serviceable as a result. But it's did have visuals that held up through the entire consoles lifespan
Still mindblowing that Sony/Sucker Punch never released a remastered trilogy of the Infamous games on PS4! I kept my PS3 so I was fine but a ton of people missed out on the first 2 games (and the Vampire dlc) because they're not playable on PS4.
Personally from what I've played and seen of the series I would favor InFamous 1 a lot more than you did, mostly because the adjustments made in the controls of 2 were downgrades in my opinion. I personally really liked how the Rockets in Infamous 1 and the melee combat were handled way more than in 2, even if 2 VASTLY improved the grenades, and while the variety/style of the super moves in the other games was cool, NOTHING comes close to how terrifyingly powerful the Lightning Storm was in the first game. Plus I enjoyed the barrier in the first game way more than in the second, especially the recharge feature, and missed Precision in 2. Plus the locator power being on L3 and not also on L2 made it easier to use both powers. As for characters, I kinda relate more to Cole than Delsin. Edit: I liked the enemies best in the first one, too. Especially the Dustmen.
I like infamous one most, it was so novel at the time. Plus i just like the style over the other entries. The city, voice actors, outfit, overall just a very cool take on the superpower fantasy
Story: Infamous 1 Gameplay: Infamous 2 I hated how rushed the story was in Infamous 2, and how Cole had no real character development aside from "I need more power" "the beast is coming". I loved the locale, new abilities, and antagonist though. Just about everything in second son was meh af to me. All I remember is that the characters and the story was awful. (Edit): The visuals were awesome and the neon power was pretty dazzling, but the majority of the abilities were underwhelming. I did like the updated traversal system allowed through the different powers though.
There’s loads of theories, my personal favorite being that Zeke damaged the RFI when he knocked it out of Cole’s hands using the AMP. It makes the most sense to me, and would add some salt to the wound knowing that Zeke is the reason that conduits still exist. That or you could just say that Dr. Wolf had no idea what the RFI would actually do
Infamous was honestly so ahead of it’s time… if this game got a remake or a new entry on ps5 graphics it would actually be a huge hit id order it the first second
Honestly, I feel like we need to give some credit to how good the melee combat in First Light was. It feels like the natural conclusion to the melee system proposed in infamous 2, however Fetch's combat is so fluid and kinetic that zipping around blitzing enemies with your fists feels great as you build up the combat meter to instagib mooks with the press of a button.
Personally, Second Son is a highlight, sure 1 and 2 are the Og's but the fact that it serves as a timeskip for the series it shows how much respect the team still has for the series, adding references to past games and great gameplay, for me it just really set the series as a cult-classic
I still think First Light is the best one to me personally. The Story is simple, straightforward, but the most relatable. No huge Final Boss, just a person succumbing to her inner Demons, now that the only person holding her back is gone. I love the Neon Power so much. The Perfect Mix of flashy Presentation, Agility & Power. Also, having Second Son be so light-Hearted & funny, First Light is a stark Contrast. No happy Moments, No happy Ending. Just Fetch walking further into Darkness, always telling herself, her brother will fix it, and the memories with him are what save her from losing, but at the end, these memories are everything she has now. Beautiful.
Infamous 2 was the first one I played and I really enjoyed it when they announced second son I was super excited and I was glad to be able to try all of the games. I do hope that one day they decide to work on a new infamous game on ps5
I don’t know what it was about infamous 1’s open world, but it’s my favorite because it feels the most alive. People cheer for you or run from you, they’ll ask for help etc. It felt lived in to me more so than the other open worlds in the franchise.
I was disappointed when I finished Infamous Second Son, I loved the game so much that I wish it was longer. And the soundtrack was freaking amazing, it was inspiring to listen to during battles.
I felt the same. Delsin has a special place in me and I want another game with him. But another game with Cole would be cool too but I feel like delsin Should have another game
U cant compare Cole to Deslin, Cole literally saved the world & took on the biggest bad we've ever seen & gave his life selflessly. 🖐🏿⚡ Would love an infamous game were we can create our own character with a dozen powers & amp type weapons to choose from. From Lightning to Water to Air to Fire (but be a good guy) to Earth to Light itself or Darkness it would basically be a fusion of Infamous, Avatar, Star Wars, & Cloak & Dagger if I had my way of making it.
I think the powers feel more complete in 1, but I definitely like the more grounded nature of the story in Second Son. I was not either a teen or a delinquent when I was a teen, but I liked that it moved beyond fantasy into more real life issues. Either way they were all fun.
I think infamous 2 is my favorite but infamous 1 has a special place in my heart it was literally the first video game i ever played through and i loved every second of it I must seriously have replayed it 50 times all the way through, it literally was my childhood
I think infamous 2 is definitely the best out of the series it expanded on Cole’s powers and it had one of the greatest ending I’ve ever seen. Also Zeke’s character development was amazing and the karma system was great. The map was a lot better than the other games and you had a different play style for each one. The gameplay was amazing and the powers were so diverse and unique it never got old. The story was the best and the characters were so memorable. The map had so much variety like flood town and the swamps.
Best: InFAMOUS 2 It was just a phenomenal game that exceeded a lot of my expectations for the series as I had only played second son at that time and I was just getting into the series Favorite: Second Son It’s my personal favorite because it made me want to know more about the series. I loved the cast of characters presented and I have a huge soft spot for Delsin as a character.
Who else is like me and Keeps Coming back to Infamous Second son and just enjoy it even more !!! I've got a platinum trophy on 3 accounts i love it so much!!! It just sucks its so short I also completed First light today in like 3 hours
I am very Biased when it comes to the answer I give. Cole's electricity is the most aesthetically pleasing power out of all of them for me. Draining electricity to heal Cole was a fantastic idea and the way Cole upgrades his powers in the underground substations is iconic to say the least. I loved Infamous 2 which had improved upon many of the elements from the first game but changing coles design and fighting style made it lose points for me. The powers are incredible but the original brings in all the iconic powers and you feel yourself going from an empowered human to either a Super Hero or The most evil conduit ever. The gigawatt blades, grinding on rails and telephone wires, using lightning like a sniper, using it like a homing missile and so much more. I was invested completely in the story for infamous one and two. I even got the platinum trophy for infamous second sun which was me paying respect to the original infamous. So for me Infamous is the best because of the story, the powers and the comic aesthetic
I played the original infamous on ps3 when it first came out I was only 13 at the time and I absolutely loved it I then switched to Xbox for a long time but recently switched back to PlayStation with the ps5 I just platinumed the 1st game now currently in n the 2nd one for the first time and I absolutely love it now planning on playing all of them in chronological order :D
Infamous second son is my favorite game in the series. I LOVE the new powers and Seattle is my favorite setting I loved exploring it. I also really liked delsin. I thought he was better then cole. Infamous 2 is my 2nd favorite I didn’t really like the first one.

Infamous first light is my favorite. Her story is so touching and you use your powers as you like, you don’t have bad or good karma, cause fetch only wants her brother back, she doesn’t care about the rest of it. By far the best dlc I’ve ever played, and her powers are amazing, the strength and the variety of things you can do just with me one is amazing, you never get tired of it. However I do like the other games, especially infamous second son :)
Great analysis! The miles morales thing hit way too close to home for me lol. I remember for the spiderman 2 trailer when that electric shock hit the traffic light I literally jumped from my seat... only to be disappointed. Here's hoping they do give us infamous content in the future. Anything is welcome, whether it be a new game, a remake, or even a remaster.
Don’t forget that inFAMOUS 2 had the UGC creator, where the players could create their own missions and just something overall fun to do after the game, the missions in inFAMOUS 2 are very good and enthusiastic but UGC missions were ultimately fun to make or play in, because you could make a little mini storyline of your owns using the UGC missions.
I’m a sucker for tiny Easter eggs so if there is another infamous game with like a new cast and everything I want there to be one scene where they’re like hiding in a alleyway and they hear a faint rattle around the corner and they run away and then delsin just rounds his head around the corner and says something like “what the hell was that” and then just goes back to spray painting if something like that happens I will geek out so hard
I played through first light yesterday and it just feels so good to run around the city through all that neon gas. The whole game just “feels” better than second son to me

@@JPmoney99 only good part about second son was how the mutants were seen as different from the regulars story wise

SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
The best moment in Second Son was when Reggie died and you had that fight afterwards. Seeing Delsin, who was always making jokes, not taking things too seriously, get serious like that was a great moment. Specially when you used the Orbital Drop and that smiling face is replaced by a look of pure anger. When he was coming down I felt like he was putting all of his power into it. It was amazing.
That moment was memorable
But that was the pinnacle of his growth. And that's what sucked about it.
Honestly I wish we’d see more of delsin especially with that paper trail cliffhanger.
@@ToxicVex267 Delsin is an underrated character in my eyes and shows some potential in future games if it happens.
@@jaykhan3191 there is also the ending scene where he either saves Betty and the Akomish and obliterates the Longhouse

Nothing beats the comic book cutscenes
You said it perfectly, That's why i couldn't accept the other infamous games, the dark element to the first game was unbeatable
I liked tv. It looked cool, specially when your evil. But smoke while your evil is so cool.

I love Ghost of Tsushima but I'm praying their next game is another Infamous sequel

What are your top 5 games?
I will never forget the scene in Infamous 1 when they make you choose between your lover or the doctors... that was some deep shit
@@wizardwolf1020 he's saying he has potential for those things but the game only takes place over 3 days and they have had years
@@tjs1212 I won’t deny that, but for the game and the sake of difficulty and challenge, it would’ve made sense for Delsin to be a Jack of all Trades, Master of None as the player can’t rely on one single power the entire time, they have to change it up with what they have available to use
There’s an actual reason the game named the 2nd sun has a protag that can use all powers
Infamous needs a return to next gen. It breaks my heart seing that the series was left in the dust since ghost of tsushima had such a success
He said 4 years later, that would mean second son would be taking place in 2015, but it is set 7 years after the new marais incident, so second son actually takes place in 2018, you're welcome 😊
Remember, Delsin's power isn't smoke, neon, video, or even concrete. It's absorption.
Apparently there’s also no cannon limit to how many he can have at once
Of the various powersets, my favorite is Video, but that comes with a bit of a caveat.
I'm a lore/narrative kind of guy, and I just fell in love with it's POTENTIAL applications, as viewed through the video conduit of Second Son, more than any others. To create constructs, treat the world like some kind of video game or movie, enter into and even shape video worlds and domains, reconfigure your own 'avatar'.... The fact that you barely scratch the surface of Video's potential in gameplay doesn't stop it being the one I'd want.
Video isnt even my fav and i admire your thought of possibility on this
My favourite level in all three main games was in Infamous 2, where Cole and Zeke are just sitting on the rooftop, chilling over a couple of beers.
I’m at 0:12 and I don’t need to watch the whole video to know the answer. Infamous 2
Hope you played them bro! They are classics
Serious question …. based on what you said how is that even possible ??
Wow. That was a buttery smooth transition into an ad read. Well played
We need a remake of the first game and a remaster of the second. Pronto
And a new installment.
@@Ender11037
True
Finally someone understands that remastering the first one would still look bad. A decent remaster for 2 could work tho.
If we get a remake or remaster of the original, they should add an epilogue where you can play through the events of the Infamous comic book.
Nope a new infamous would be good with delsin as the main character
You should make a video about how you imagine a new, modern InFamous game.
Or just what you would like to see.
I'd love to see that too.
Your Infamous and Arkham vids are the reason I started watching you thanks for feeding my never ending addiction for more infamous content :))))))
You don’t need “a background in” music to say what you like. Just like you don’t need to be able to cook to say what food you like. If it sounds good to you, then it’s good according to you!
2 is the best. Second son seemed almost afraid to tell it's story and it was generic but serviceable as a result. But it's did have visuals that held up through the entire consoles lifespan
generic?
💯💯 garbage compared to the first two, couldn’t get past the 3 hour mark of that generic borefest
@@bigpoppapump430 garbage comment+L+Generic nerd🤓
Still mindblowing that Sony/Sucker Punch never released a remastered trilogy of the Infamous games on PS4!
I kept my PS3 so I was fine but a ton of people missed out on the first 2 games (and the Vampire dlc) because they're not playable on PS4.
I honestly like all of them. I don’t even have a favorite inFAMOUS game on my list
Same man! One has awesome elements to it, if they ever decide to remaster it I hope they do
I really hope we get a new Infamous game I’ll even take a remake
I like infamous one most, it was so novel at the time. Plus i just like the style over the other entries. The city, voice actors, outfit, overall just a very cool take on the superpower fantasy
I like how he treated what was the best game and what was his favorite game as two separate things.
Second son has a special place in me and I love the turn they took
Story: Infamous 1
Gameplay: Infamous 2
I hated how rushed the story was in Infamous 2, and how Cole had no real character development aside from "I need more power" "the beast is coming".
Just discovered your channel. I hope you get to 100k subscribers because this content is amazing! Keep up the good work👍🏻
just a quick thought: all conduits DID die but the GENE didnt
There’s loads of theories, my personal favorite being that Zeke damaged the RFI when he knocked it out of Cole’s hands using the AMP. It makes the most sense to me, and would add some salt to the wound knowing that Zeke is the reason that conduits still exist. That or you could just say that Dr. Wolf had no idea what the RFI would actually do
Can we just talk about for how old and heavily detailed Infamous: Second Son is, it runs unbelievably well
Dude especially on the ps4 pro my god it was like butter.
Let’s gooo new aqua video whooooooo!
Infamous was honestly so ahead of it’s time… if this game got a remake or a new entry on ps5 graphics it would actually be a huge hit id order it the first second
I enjoyed playing Infamous (1&2) and Prototype around the same time and always wanted them to duke it out with one another!
I feel like second son is a bit slept on but it is so good and I want another game with delsin or both delsin and cole
Infamous 2 touched the heart
I just loved infamous second son so much it still looks so damn good ...just wish it was on pc
Because its only game that u played
@@radwan9873 okay?
@@radwan9873 proof
anybody gonna talk about that smooth ass transition from the actual video to talking about the sponsor?
U cant compare Cole to Deslin, Cole literally saved the world & took on the biggest bad we've ever seen & gave his life selflessly. 🖐🏿⚡
Would love an infamous game were we can create our own character with a dozen powers & amp type weapons to choose from.
I love the whole series, one of a damn kind
It’s great when a series can have such good sequels and dlc without losing out on quality
On my opinion infamous 2 is the best game I love everything about the game
You definitely deserve more views. Keep doing videos like this!!
I love Infamous 2, the powers you get when you go for the bad karma were just cool and awesome.
Best: InFAMOUS 2
It was just a phenomenal game that exceeded a lot of my expectations for the series as I had only played second son at that time and I was just getting into the series
Favorite: Second Son
It’s my personal favorite because it made me want to know more about the series.
How have these games not been brought to current gen, it blows my mind. Easily one of the best open world games series of all time
i really do which they remastered infamous
First light needs more attention it was pretty underrated
I love how, in second sun, the visuals are still up to par years later
second sun is my fav infamous and the graffiti side missions are by far my fav part of the game
I’m excited to see the ranking of all the assassins creed games when you are done. Could get very political haha
How could it get political?
@@ThatBoyAqua I’m saying political like very different opinions in the comments

Nice transition into that ad ma guy, you got me completely off guard! xD
Also just jk about the hatred (kinda), keep up the good content! CX
Flawless transition into an ad if I must say.
Second Son was a dumpstrerfire of a story. They really need to reboot this series for Infamous 3.
Infamous 1 = instant Classic
Infamous 2 = PHENOMENAL
Festival of Blood = Badass
Second Son = underrated masterpiece
First light = WTF! 🤨
I had a lot of fun playing Infamous: Second Son and finished it several times...
They need to make an open world infamous game
That sponsorship ad was smooth
I don’t preorder games anymore but I would for a new Infamous game
I’m a sucker for tiny Easter eggs so if there is another infamous game with like a new cast and everything I want there to be one scene where they’re like hiding in a alleyway and they hear a faint rattle around the corner and they run away and then delsin just rounds his head around the corner and says something like “what the hell was that” and then just goes back to spray painting if something like that happens I will geek out so hard
That ad segway was just perfect.
I played through first light yesterday and it just feels so good to run around the city through all that neon gas. The whole game just “feels” better than second son to me
Infamous 1 and 2 + festival of blood will be forever in my heart
that segway into the sponsor was actually smooth as hell
