Unbelievable! It's an M3 so I know it's rear wheel drive...but the grip you have...No traffic this time but a heavy passenger and still a better time! Also that notchy e46 manual gearbox...Wunderbar!
Yeah, I also just refuelled so with the passenger I had a good 100Kg more in the car than usual. It really does affect the car, as it tends to run wider, especially when exiting a corner.
The best was reaction of Porsche drivers...they didn't want to fight with M3

Great skills. You have done a lot of different tracks with your M3!!!! Where do you live? Do you go on trips to visit all kinds of different tracks?
Thanks! I am from the italian speaking part of Switzerland (south), this means trips to Imola, Monza Tazio Nuvolari and Franciacorta are not that taxing.
The Nürburgring on the other hand is quite a pain to get to (700Km), this is also the reason why I only have a limited experience on that track (about 12 laps a year over 6 years).

can you write the car's specs? suspension? brakes?
The engine is stock but I have an Eventuri intake. The car runs a Nitron R1 suspension, Stoptech 4 pot brake system in the front, and 19" Apex Arc 8 wheels with Cup 2 tyres in 245/35/19 and 265/30/19.
What suspension / spring rates ?
I'ts a Nitron R1 suspension. The Spring rate is not that high, in the front it is 85N/mm, on the Nitron sheet it does not specify the rear, but probably it's the same.
what camera mount do you use? great video.
Hi, I use GoPro suction mount fixed on the back of the seat.

Have you ever been in racing either as an amateur or a pro? What are you going to replace your m3 with?
Sadly I never had the chance to prove myself in any racing conditions, since I never had the means to pursue this option.
The M3 will be replaced by a Porsche 996 GT3 MK2, since I got an offer which i couldn't refuse!
I already had the chance to drive that car on track in the wet, and..it is a handful (but fun). I'll need some time to get used to it and feel as confident as in the M3 while pushing it. Especially on the Ring.
But after 8 years the prospect of a new challenge is very appealing, although I'll always remember the E46 M3 as being an absolute joy to drive on track.
@@DenfMotorsports A 996 gt3, that sounds great. Handful yes, but having watched your lap of the Ring, I doubt you'll have difficulties adapting to it in a short time. Have fun and stay safe.
Do you use racing Fuel on your car ?
No, it's pump fuel 98 Octane EU spec. For the US it compares to 93 Octane.
