Trying out the Manthey setup during the friday evening BTG session in may. It was a good step forward, but there is more to this story which I will point out on my instagram profile.
Fantastic car. I owned a Gen 1 996 GT3Cs for 12 years and was by far the best car I've owned especially after I had the Manthey K400 upgrade. Miss that car. Great driving btw. Have done a few track days here in the UK but never brave enough to drive the Nurburgring.
Love the car! The GT3 nowadays is much more difficult to drive on the limit. Too much power, tyres too wide. You almost need to be a pro. The 996 is just perfect!!
ahah close, I live in the italian speaking part of Switzerland! But this guy was unbelievable, I encountered him already during previous laps where, among other things, he overtook me under yellow. Then he insisted on riding EVERY curb you usually try to avoid on the ring, while sometimes driving through the wilderness (the fog you see is actually him who put 2 wheels on the grass...).
