Hello, greetings from China. I'm American married to a filipina since 2016. I would like to know if a person needs to be in Philippines to apply for the 13A visa or can I do it from a 3rd country such as China? We both live abroad and just confirming if I can apply in Shanghai (nearest city) prior to next visit to Philippines. Our visits are no more than 30 days at a time due to work holiday times. Hi was wondering , I would like to get the 13a visa but also would like to travel leaving the Philippines with my wife maybe twice a year. If I have a 13a are there multiple entry/exit with that?? The 13A Spousal visa allows for multiple entries and exits. However, there are two stages to this visa: 13A Probationary and 3 to 4 months the probationary will expires you need to proceed for the 13A Permanent.
In contrast, the SRRV requires only a single application, and upon approval, you can enjoy multiple entries and exits in the Philippines.
