  • In this video several problems and solutions on Catalytic hydrogenation of acid chlorides are discussed. It is known as Rosenmund reduction or Rosenmund reaction. Aliphatic and aromatic carboxylic acid chlorides are taken as examples. Palladium on barium sulphate in presence of quinoline-S. are best for this purpose. It will be very helpful for competitive exams like NET and GATE.
