    Thanks for the video explanation 😊 I wasn't sure for the runs of salmons.

    On Card A and B for salmon it looks like 1 salmon gives 2 points, however 1 salmon is not a run? Can you explain how this works ?

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think one salmon is a run

    For the foxes and eagles, do they need to be completely surrounded or can they have empty spaces or empty or empty keystone tiles?

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No they don't need to be surrounded to score points

    How do you score in Bear B if you have two groups of 3 bears but they form a line? 😅 1:04

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The shape is irrelevant. But if your 2 groups are connected, then you actually have one group of 6 bears and score nothing

    Wow! Nice and concise and solved a hawk conundrum we had playing the B cards. Thanks!!

    Hawk D scoring is incorrect. "Each hawk may only be part of one pair"

    Thanks for the video, has cleared up a few scoring confusions. The Fox still confuses me though.

    First Question
    Hi , my question is on the level 12 of ACHIEVEMENT SCENARIO that can be played in solo mode.
    In this scenario the Roosevelt elk token cannot be placed on forest habitat , does it means that the Roosevelt elk cannot be placed on the tiles that represents two types of habitat like forest and Prairies or forest and mountain ??
    Or
    It cannot be placed only on those tiles that represents the single forest habitat ??
    2nd Question:-
    During a particular turn ,I had used a Nature token to wipe all the wildlife token , when I took out the next set of wildlife , three fox token came out , can I again replace those three fox tokens as mentioned in the rule book ??
    Before I replace those three fox token , shall I put back all those wildlife token into the bag that I had wiped out using the nature token ??

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Question 1. To me it only makes sense that you cannot place the elk in all forest habitats. Single forests are not that many and maybe they are not included at all in the game.
      Question 2. Again there is no official ruling I could find . I would always put back the wildlife tokens in the bag after I finish with overpopulations and using nature tokens

    Thanks for this. The cards are worded in a confusing way and the appendix doesn't really help that much.

    Great video but I'm confused with the salmons, in your example I always thought that they couldn't score if there was any adjacent. One more thing, by ant chance you don't have the KS cards to explain them?

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Max. I have one more video explaining all cards from the base game. Check it out. Ks cards no unfortunately. Salmons work in runs. The key is that no salmon tile must be adjacent to more than 2 salmon tiles. You can do it of course as there are no placement rules but if you do it the whole run is not going to score

    I don't think the 3 salmons grouped together are correct for a run

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      3 salmons grouped together do not break the run rule (each salmon must be connected to max 2 salmons).

    • @kabiromotosho9895
      @kabiromotosho9895 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree. I do not think it counts. The simplest interpretation I have is that each connecting salmon hex in the run should connect to only one side of the next hex

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Of course it counts. Pg 11 in the rulebook paragraph 3 over salmons states exactly what the rule i am saying. It also specifies that "a group of 3 salmons in a triangle shape may count as a run but no other salmon can be attached in this run"

      Just got my copy today. It makes sense that a triangle shape is a run that loops back onto itself I guess. Thanks for clearing that up

    Hi. Thanks for the video, i have a question with the hawks:
    In a straight line I have the following configuration:
    Hawk-fox-Hawk-bear-Hawk.
    How do you count it with the B Card? 3 hawks(9 points)? or 0 beacause there are 3 hawks in the straight line?

    • @peakyboardgamer
      @peakyboardgamer  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1
