@@FritoBoy30 I was just curious I bought one off eBay good reviews I don't drive it much so I figured save a few bucks now already got the easy access port I can buy a better one and swap it at a later more fiscally improved time lol. Only thing I would add after fighting with it for ten minutes is that the pump has an accordion like effect and it's in.
@@FritoBoy30 I think that's exactly what he means... shouldn't cut the metal. This is a hack because you're creating a way for outside elements to come in to the cabin, i.e. possible fuel vapors, water, grime, etc. when you go offroading. But this is "a" way to replace the fuel pump.
Good video help me a lot, today i fix my truck, thankyou
Hello, did you have to teach the new pump or just turn on the ignition and off you go?
No, fired right up
Getting ready to do mine today. I cut my floor with a Dremel and mini cut off wheel. Where did your pump come from?
Closeout on Rock Auto. I have a list of projects and I just go to see what's on sale to determine the next project.

Really good and informative video, thanks😁👍👍👍
Sheet metal nibbler and butal tape for like rv roof repair
My guess is Nissan didn't cut a fuel pump access hole out so most people would have to go to Nissan dealer for a 600 to 800 dollar fuel pump job !
Man the traffic there is horrendous!!
You get used to it. It's eerie when it snows and there's no traffic
THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO DO IT! WHAT A BODGE JOB.
How would you suggest this repair without dropping the tank?
