I’m a brand new agent in real estate in general and I’ve been at real for a month now. I can’t get no one not even my broker’s help on getting started or help on the process of getting my first listing. I’ve been attending the zooms and watch the videos to help.
Thanks! The one thing about eXp that's annoying is how tribal it can be. If the training has to be given to anyone not just your organization that would solve a lot of the problem.
Two Questions: 1) Does Real Brokerage assign a TC or will I need to hire my own TC? 2) If my sponsor is in an area in another state, do you suggest that I find a co-sponsor in my same territory? Or in my State? I found a top producing Real agent in my same territory, but I'm wondering if he is a co-sponsor for me, would my proximity be too much of a competition?
REAL does not provide it's agents with TC. I only ever find a co-sponser if an agent is new and may need some more local help. What I do is make a post and find someone who says they are willing to hop on a call or give the agent some mentorship. Let's hop on a video call and we can talk more this and REAL. Pick a date and a time that works for you calendly.com/real-malcolm-lawson/realbroker?month=2023-05
My sponsors are out of state, but have never felt like they were too far. I feel very close to them and they're so helpful. I know some agents have TCs which don't cost much
Question. For the annual fee that is taken out of your first three transactions a year, what happens if I have no transactions or less than three?? And thank you for your video. I find it very helpful..
They are not. They would have to pay a full cap to be eligible for the $16k or $24k elite agent award. So what I have seen some agents do is have a "standard team" so agents get a half cap and ALSO have a "marketing group" where those agents pay a full cap and are eligible for Elite Agent.
My understanding fir revenue share is that in order to earn it, you need to be active agent earned $450/6 months. If it is will-able, how long will my designated beneficiary continue to earn from it assuming they are not agent at all? Seems the two conditions are contradicted to each other.
Hi, they will receive your revenue share indefinitely! The $450 every 6 months does not apply to them. REAL has th ta policy because they don't want full time recruiters working here, they want producing agents. REAL has said they are rolling out a "retirement plan" probably this year. We don't know the exact details yet but the speculation is they will remove that $450/6mo requirements after you have been a producing agent for so long.
Yeah, team members have a half cap BUT they have an obligation to give at least 10% of their commission to their team leader in order to qualify for this.
I don't know any state specific things. If you are with REAL, you can ask that question in your state specific group or even send your broker a message on workplace.
It actually has changed (or at least it has for me in BC Canada.) Splits less than 25% to the team are allowed in my area. (I just started a team and there is new regs on this.)
@@seasthedaygroup so glad I was not the only one with that information. :) Yes, our state here in Arizona allows us to go lower in splits on teams also.
Similar business model, just like KW, REMAX, Century 21 all use the same Franchise model but REAL has a very different culture, technology and community then eXp.
it's much different than eXp. that's why I left. i was with them before and there're a number of agents and a team I know who also came from there and all have stated the same. we do have a title company and it is cool that it pays out if you buy into it. I prefer Real for the culture, camaraderie and how much the CEO and president pour into it. The down market playbook they’re running isn’t anything I’ve seen another brokerage do
Glad I chose Real! It's a sound financial move for agents thinking about the long term.

Thank you REAL Broker for what you did for the Eric West family!

Just love your videos! My favorite!

your welcome! Nothing, you don't have to pay it if you don't sell any homes.
I do have an updated 2024 breakdown by the way and feel free to schedule a video call with me if you want to dive into the details more.
Nicely done
Great video
The 16k Award Bonus after paying 6,000 in Post Transcation What about the agents under a team paying 6k cap are they eligible for this award ?
They are not. They would have to pay a full cap to be eligible for the $16k or $24k elite agent award. So what I have seen some agents do is have a "standard team" so agents get a half cap and ALSO have a "marketing group" where those agents pay a full cap and are eligible for Elite Agent.

Why does one person pay 12,000 and another pays 6,000
When you join a team, they offer a lower cap, but you may have fees you pay the team depending on the team structure and what they offer
Yeah, team members have a half cap BUT they have an obligation to give at least 10% of their commission to their team leader in order to qualify for this.
any news on the mentorship program in California. its hard to get support or information on mentorship down here

Did the team lead split change or vary by state? I was told it was a minimum of 10% in Arizona...from what I understand..
I've never heard of that. I believe the ICA says it's 25% minimum. You can also do a marketing group and have any sort of structure as you like.
It actually has changed (or at least it has for me in BC Canada.) Splits less than 25% to the team are allowed in my area. (I just started a team and there is new regs on this.)

Do you have KVCore?
We have access to Chime which is similar but I think alot better.
No thank you. This sounds like eXp.
